Huge place. You can find space for everything you need: kitchen, work space, chill area, etc.

The price I paid per night was much higher than other people in the room, almost double, although I booked much more in advance.

There is a very nice local bar in the hostel area. Every day, it is packed with a wonderful vibe. The installations are very modern, we can use the kitchen, we can use the lounge for 24 hours (unlike the Safestay in London which I do not recommend), the staffs are like family and they are really committed to promoting the beauty and the fantastic ambience of San Sebastian, what a wonderful place!). I am very grateful to let people work with their computers and also using the kitchen, something that every decent hostel should do. In this matter, San Sebastian is much better than London!

There is nothing that I can say that I dislike, I wish I could spend more time. The hostel is excellent, the facilities are fabulous. I totally recommend any traveler to stay there.

Room in the City offered the most comfortable bed of all the hostels I stayed in the past couple of weeks. A nice pillow, sheet, and a quilt! The curtain on the bunkbeds created a welcome sense of privacy among the people sleeping there. I liked the shelf & plug in each bunkbed area. The bathroom was very good.

Not many people used the hostel kitchen or living room, so no sense of community or opportunity to meet other travellers. However, I didn't go onto the terrace in the evening, which might have been nice.

The fact that is very close to the beach, (the view of course, it was winter, water is freezing, but the viw it's always beautiful).

Not to have the have the facility of Brewing a fresh cup of coffee or tee. I call it burocracy, a pact between the hostels and food businesses. I don't don't think is right or fair, maybe you don't feel like going out at all; but one way or another they forcing you to do it. Totally unethical. Well, that's my review, other than that the place is OK.

12 bed dorm was spacious. Had lockers under bunks (use your security bracelet for access). Individual bunk had privacy curtain, light and power plug. Solid bunk construction so it does move when the person above or below moves. Comfy bed and pillow. Linen was clean. Bunkroom was really quiet when the on-site bar was closed after about midnight. Easy to find and only 10min walk from ALSA bus station. Seemed really safe. They give you a waterproof bracelet that gets you into your locker, the bunkroom, and on-site after hours. Great location. Convenient if doing the Camino Del Norte (easy walk to train station to take train to Irun). Reception was open 24/7. Correos pick up from here if you need camino luggage transfer. Has a number of female showers so no queue.Hot showers (were on a timer, but just push button again- no problem). Basic kitchen with fridge and microwave. Whole place was clean including bunkroom, bathrooms and kitchen.

Bunkroom really noisy when on-site bar is open (seems to close about midnight)-people yelling and shouting (I stayed Friday and Saturday nights), but once it closed the bunkroom was super quiet.

Comfortable bed, clean room. The beds have curtains for privacy. The bathrooms were good and a good strong shower with hot water at all times. Great value for money, short 3 min walk to the beach and very close to the beautiful old town

There could be more hooks for jackets/towels. I hung up my towel on the first day and the cleaners took it and I had to pay for another one at the desk, was a little annoying but not a big deal.

The hotel has such as good vibes, amazing common areas to chill out and relax, read a book or met new friends. The room and the bathrooms were very clean and also has a nice kitchen with refrigerator where you can have your food. The staff were very nice, they save my luggage after doing the check out. I really enjoyed this place!! Don’t think twice!!!

You need to do check in in Manterola street and if your room is in Easo Kalea you need to walk to there after doing check-in (is only 20m) but if you have extra luggage as me can be a little uncomfortable, by the way, the staff were very nice helping me with my luggage until my room!

Lovely outdoor terrace and large roof terrace. The beds were very well organised and user friendly (had 3 hooks, curtains, usb and plug charging and two different shaped shelf options!), as well as being pretty comfy! Staff were super friendly and loads of different spaces to relax. Bathrooms were also very nice

The lack of any hobs in the kitchen! Even a small induction one would've been better than nothing! Also fridge got pretty crowded as the hostel filled up over the weekend.

We booked a double room (bunk beds) and it was a very nice stay considering how much we paid. Employees were very helpful and there are plenty of recommendations in the hostel for plans in the city. Also we liked that there was a bar in the hostel.

Shower heads didn’t look very clean, I think this could be improved. The double entrance, where private rooms have to enter through another door of the building and when you need something from reception you have to go out the street and enter through a different street.

Loved the location, the lively bar (wish it was open more than Thurs-Sat but i get it), the clean bunks. Huge hostel! Very dark in the rooms, windows let in no light and especially with your bunk curtain closed. I normally wake up at 8 with the sunlight, but slept till 11 there!

Magnetic bracelets to open the rooms and drawers barely worked, had a lot of issues with mine.
