The location is ideal, very quiet being tucked away above street level but so close to everything. The view from the rooftop pool and bar is incredible. The family room with the bunk beds was ideal for our young children. The staff here couldn’t be more helpful, everyone seemed like they really wanted to make the guests happy. They were so lovely to our two young ones who loved the pool and the secret door from the street. It was my third stay here and I’d definitely be back for a fourth.

Very little to complain about, parking was a bit spendy at 25 Euro a day but that’s typical of the area. We chose to save some money and eat out for breakfast this time as there are so many cheaper options right on the street.

Staff were very friendly. Room was excellent. Great location.

Lack of sunloungers and the rooftop bar was shut.

We had several issues, but the front desk staff and the maintenance man responded quickly. The hotel has a parking garage which was a big plus. As the weather wasn’t great we didn’t use the roof top area but it would be a good place to hang out in the summer. Our room was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The iron was useful.

The bar, gastro pub and dining room are all in the same room which lacks atmosphere. We had a snack in the bar one evening and didn’t enjoy it. The hotel has an unusual policy of providing room cleaning between 9 - 5. If you want to make sure your room has been made up before you return in the afternoon make sure you tell the front desk what time you would like it cleaned. We didn’t do this the first day and were surprised when we returned at 3pm and the room wasn’t cleaned. This is a personal choice, but we found the mattress hard.

Location is incredible- really well located to get anywhere in the city and the escalator to the town is amazing! Rooftop bar and pool have exceptional views too

Check in was far too slow- proactive management for when multiple guests are arriving from the same flights should be conducted. Coffee and milk wasn’t restocked one day and dirty glasses not changed. For the size of the rooftop pool it would be better to be adults only… Not the hotels fault but a dog was left barking in a room next door all day and late into the evening. Should have better policies to ensure this doesn’t happen and disrupt other guests.

Luxurious hotel close to the Centre of San Sebastian with amazingly comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. On the whole the staff were amazing and very friendly. Will definitely return, as we loved it.

The hotel advertises that it is dog friendly and as is to be expected dogs are not allowed in the eating area or bar ,which we totally understand. However , some man on reception told us we weren't allowed to drink our drinks from the bar in some of the other sitting areas around the hotel where we had wanted to enjoy our drinks with our two dogs before venturing out for the night, whilst waiting for the rain to stop. When we asked other staff at reception if we could do this they said ' yes, of course you can' and we indeed noticed others doing this. It would appear that this specific man didn't like the dogs being in the reception area. A place either is Dog friendly or not ( with the aforementioned exclusion of eating areas ) and all staff need to be on the same page regarding this.

Everything! The room was super comfortable. The roof terrace with its pool and bar area were amazing and so relaxing. Stunning views over San Sebastián. The staff were friendly and great to have parking. Remember to go through the no entry sign to access the hotel.

The pool area is very small and we were unable to get sun loungers. This really wasn’t a problem though as there was so much to do in San Sebastián during our 2 night stay that we didn’t spend too much time in the pool area. For the price we paid for 3 adults, it would have been nice for breakfast to be included.

I've never experienced such a positive experience at a hotel - the decor is elegant, the view from our room (sea view Junior Suite) was absolutely stunning, and the staff were fantastic: my partner and I were visiting to celebrate his 40th birthday and they went above and beyond to ensure that we had an enjoyable and memorable time. We purchased the massage, spa and dinner package and I was very pleasantly surprised by the meal we were served (a generously portioned set menu of delicious food), and the couples massage was great. I can't recommend this place enough!

Good location (but you need to know about the secret lift to town :-) Amazing views from the roof top! Good breakfast, with a fresh orange juice maker, which we used a lot to replenish our vitamin C deficiency ;-) Helpful reception staff who offered us some good restaurant recommendations.

Not a major issue, but we had some minor hiccups with room cleaning / service; eg. drinks in the minibar not restocked twice during our 6-day stay. The room cleaning was acceptable, but it could have been more thorough.

Super hotel, fab roof top bar & pool. Location is really good with a lift that takes you down the hill to street level which sounds weird but really works. Room was lovely, nice bathroom and fantastic big & open underground car park giving high level of security which is important if you are driving around Spain as we were and the car is full to the roof! Very impressed with the Staff, all of whom were very polite and efficient. What an amazing place is San Sebastian - just full of great tapas bars and restaurants as well as vermut and Txacoli bars - 10/10.

To get to the Hotel you have to drive up a one way street the wrong way - Even having checked all details i cannot see any reference to this but once you overcome the fear that you are doing something wrong, it is fine and the hotel entrance is good. Not a complaint but having knowledge & being prepared is really helpful.

It’s not very often I’d rate a hotel 10/10 but this place was incredible. Would be nice if they put the lights on for the upper terrace as I spent most evenings up there having a glass of wine. The food, the views, the staff were all top draw. If you choose this place to stay try the buttered fish. It’s so clean and well decorated it’s hard to find a negative. Loads of areas to sit and either lounge around or work. Internet was around 70Mb so no complaints either. I’ll return without a doubt.!

The weather.. but I can’t blame the hotel for that.
