The location couldn't be better- 300m from La Concha beach and 10 minutes walk to Ondaretta beach, the Old Town, Centro and Gros district. The room was spotless and refreshed daily. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. All the staff were really wonderful - friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a room on the first floor and had a great view of the harbour. The breakfast was delicious and well presented. All in all,we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Parts of the hotel are dated and this felt more like a 3 star hotel to us. It may be that some rooms have been modernised but not all. We felt the hotel was expensive given the limited facilities and decor but you are paying for the location which is excellent. There was no kettle in the room which may be standard for Spanish hotels but something to bear in mind. It is a compact hotel and there is no residents' lounge.

Nothing Even with the power failure in check out the staff assisted with the suitcase from the 5th floor which ended up being 26 flights of stairs as the hotel started on the 8th floor

Parking was available at a charge and we were able to book in advance, as we were travelling home, it made things much easier. Reception staff helpful & welcoming. Especially letting us get parked on check-in and explaining how the carpark worked. Also, on departure, when we realised we had left something behind, the reception staff were very helpful. The room was lovely, great size , super king bed. Views across the bay were great 👍. Great location to walk along sea front & to get to the restaurants in the old town. Complimentary water available on arrival in the room and also in reception free soft drinks available. Kettle available in the room. Also dressing gowns & slippers in the room. Breakfast spanish continental, nice selection, selection of milk available ie lactose free & non dairy.

Bathroom door didn't close properly, lock needed fixing as it was only one night. we lived with it, but for a longer stay it would be annoying/ inconvenient. Especially if it wasn't a couple sharing the room.

The location was very convenient, a couple of minutes walk from la concha beach front and about 10-15mins walk along the sea front to the old town where all the pincho bars are. Very good breakfast and very attentive staff. Hotel immaculately clean and nice touch with our kids loving the complimentary chilled Fanta lemon and orange plus sweets when you had come back after being out all day.

The parking nearby for the hotel wasn’t suitable height for our VW camper van so we had to park further out but I wouldn’t let this put others off if they have standard cars. So this was a personal / practical element of our own stay. It wouldn’t put me off from staying there again that’s for sure.

The suite that we were upgraded for free (thank you!!!), was very spacious for a family of three, the views are stunning and breakfast is very good with a great variety of options, giving us the chance to get a taste of almost everything one can have in the morning, also it lasts three hours, which is fantastic both for morning persons and for those who like snoozing. Staff was extremely nice and friendly, everyone spoke English and was friendly and keen on offering help and advise. Cleaning was done twice a day and the room was sparkling clean all day, every day. The views from the balcony are breathtaking and the location is everything one can ask for in that magnificent place. Overall, we had the feeling that they want u to make sure we get everything we need and the only thing we have to concentrate on is on how to have a great time in Donostia, the rest was taken care by them!!! We have stayed in five star hotels and couldn't see the difference apart from the fact that its is in a better location...we are definitely coming back next year!!!

I can't find something wrong.

The hotel room was very nice. It had been built to a very fashionable standard. The bathroom was good with a walk in shower, which worked very well. The towels were good quality. The lift to the elevators for disabled guests worked very well. The parking was good and just under the hotel. The breakfast was also very good with excellent coffee and hot chocolate. The selection of pastries, fruit and cooked foods was very good and attractively served.

It was a shame there was no bar.

Hotel is just one block from the waterfront in a very nice area. There are 3 elevators so no waiting time to go up or down. There is free water and Fanta in the lobby. Room size was just right with wooden floor. Room had a nice view as well. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Environment is quiet. You are asked at what time you’d like to have breakfast to avoid queues, which is a great idea. There is paid parking on site and they let us park the car beyond the checkout time so we could enjoy the city a bit more.

There was hardly anything I didn’t like.

The hotel is very close to the seafront and can be viewed from hotel. The hotel is situated very near to the Old Town so that walks along the promenade and through the Old Town were available. We were pleasantly surprised as we arrived on San Sebastian Day when there were many processions and great excitement throughout the Old Town. The hotel is near shops and restaurants. The basement car parking is extremely useful. A doggy bag with all sorts of treats for the dog was provided.

The room was clean, comfortable. Decent sized terrace with a good view of the sea. The bath tub with hydromassage was a surprising touch. Close to shopping, dining, beach. I was told i was in the top floor, which was 500 level, i didn't realize that there was 8,-9 levels that were pensioners floors. So though my room was 503, i was actually on the 14th floor, another surprise.

The afternoon sun was baking the room, the a/c was having a hard time keeping it cool, even with all the blinds drawn. I have good pics for the review but can only go back 1 day and can't publish them

OMG, you're literally just across the street from the most gorgeous beach! If it rains, you have a nice hotel room to chill in, but come on, that's not why you come to San Sebastián, now is it? The breakfast was memorable, excellent value.

Not such a great cup of coffee, I think they use an overroasted robusta bean. But hey, it's coffee! It certainly did the job. :-)
