What an amazing little boutique hotel. It's punching well above its 2 star rating. The guys at reception were super friendly and helpful, from the welcome drink on. The rooms are clean and chic, the bed is very comfy, the Smart TV is a great touch, shower excellent. The best thing though, is the location. Walk directly into the best pinxto bars in town, to the beach, or jump on a rental bicycle and explore the entire San Sebastian. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend the hotel.

Honestly, there isn't even a small nit pick for this hotel. It was a perfect experience.

Very confortable, great location, washing machine and dishwasher (including the cleaning products), pleasant staff always available to help, good TV size for the room.

Lacks a bit of kitchen cutlery and no salt, pepper, olive oil. No view (which was a bit unfortunate considering the price we paid), our windows looked out onto an elevated back alley which was at the exact same height as the apartment (2nd floor) and it's a pathway used by kids to get to their school so it can be quite noisy for a bit around 8 in the morning. The TV menus are quite hard to navigate (I had no idea what I had access to and other people's profiles were already setup in some places).

Honestly everything. Great location, great room, nice staff! We booked the apartment and it was perfect for us to do laundry and cool a little. It could have easily fit a family of 4

The hotel location is unbeatable. It is in walking distance to all what you should see/visit in San Sebastian

If you bring car - you should book a space at the hotel otherwise the nearest parking garage is 1 km away.

Everything about the Hotel SANSEbay was exceptional. We originally booked a three night stay in a room with a bay view, but decided to arrive a day early. The room was not available for our new arrival day, but, without our asking, they upgraded us for the first day of arrival. Nice! The staff throughout our stay was extremely accommodating and helpful, even to the point of securing for us a reservation at an excellent restaurant. The room was spacious and extremely quiet. Our stay could not have been better.

The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough. Complimentary drink on arrival while they parked the car. Provided a sheet of suggested bars to visit in the Old Town and which pincho to try.

What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff, especially Andrea, who welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality. Her knowledge and helpfulness set the tone for a memorable experience. When we return to San Sebastián, Hotel Sansebay will undoubtedly be our top choice. Highly recommended!

Good location, new but quite basic decor

Facility quite basic, parking is quite expensive but might be just like in this way in San Sebastián.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in this nice, modern hotel in the heart of San Sebastian’s old town port area. They kindly upgraded us, and our room was on a higher floor (happily there’s a lift), with a sloped roof (a tall person might bump his head over the desk area) and window looking out on the water/port, with skylight windows above it. (This was lovely, but a larger/wider window would have made the views even better). Our room was spacious, with a big bed, nice desk area, closet area, mini bar fridge, and good modern bathroom with rain shower. The location was great for exploring the town and attending the various “Jazzaldia” jazz festival music events at the nearby venues (and right on the port side). Despite the busy, loud streets outside until late at night, the hotel was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent and good value – avo on toast, fruit salad, omelets and other options, as well as bread and good coffee. Highly recommended.

The location cannot be beat! Entrance tucked under the step leading to main trail overlooking bay. So glad we stayed here! plugs in the room. We didn’t need them it wasn’t very loud and didn’t go late. I I’d definitely stay here again!

The only negative is the bathroom has a glass upper wall it shares with the sleeping area so at night if you turn on the bathroom light it illuminates the bedroom. Also some noise from bar around the corner but very little and hotel does supply ear plus but we didn’t need them. Also room is small but all we needed it for was sleeping so it wasn’t an issue.
