The hotel was in an excellent location for the old town, just a 2 min walk through a side street and it overlooked La Concha. Wonderful views and a great room size for a long weekend. Toiletries etc were provided, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast room on 1st floor was light and airy and the breakfast was excellent and our server Irene was an absolute delight, such a lovely smile. The rooftop bar with plunge pool was great and Amaia and Facundo looked after us very well. Lovely people. We will definitely be returning next year and intend to make an annual trip to San Sebastian and stay at the Lasala Plaza Hotel. The reception staff were great providing recommendations and arranging transport etc. Nothing was too much trouble.

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel, located right in the historic quarter and along the beautiful coast. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff were all super nice and the breakfast was perfect each morning with our friendly host and staff. We also enjoyed the rooftop each night watching the sunset and meeting new friends. Then, walking only a few blocks to some of the best pintxos in the city. We can’t wait to return to San Sebastián - one of the most beautiful places we have ever been to.

We were a little disappointed that our room didn’t quite match with what was pictured in the booking description. We paid a very premium price to have the large french windows facing the sea. While we had a nice high floor with a lovely view, we only had a single large window. Also, the lighting controls were a bit complicated - it took a few days to learn how to use, would be helpful to have an explanation when first checking in.

Great location for walking anywhere in San Sebastián. We arrived and spent three nights. The hotel sends you a YouTube video to get to the hotel because google and Apple Maps don’t take you close enough. I suggest the valet parking for peace of mind, it was very easy. The jamon for the room was amazing. The hotel is clean and very beautiful. They offer all the amenities you could want. Hotel room was quite big. Heated floors in the bathroom were my fiances favorite! The room was cleaned daily and the shower was amazing. We loved the water pressure. Automatic bidet in the room and it’s safe to drink the water from the sink which was nice. Bed was super comfortable and our king bed was huge! The temperature in the room was nice and pillows were comfy. We slept very well. Overall no complaints. The rooftop pool was closed but no big deal. I will say that online the pool looked big but it’s no more than a one lane pool but I’m sure it’s great in summer. Breakfast everyday was nice. Fresh fruits, pastries, dairy free milk, Spanish meats etc along with made to order eggs and pancakes. Solid value and a nice buffet Everyone was very nice and eager to help and they helped us celebrate our engagement Would love to stay here again and will be a fond memory we look back upon

My recent experience at LASALA Hotel in San Sebastián stands in stark and glorious contrast to the abysmal stay I previously endured elsewhere. From the very outset, LASALA Hotel exuded an unparalleled level of care and attention that truly elevated my visit to an exceptional experience. Even before my official check-in, my request for a special favor – to have something picked up from a nearby shop – was met with immediate enthusiasm and seamless execution. This proactive and accommodating spirit set the tone for what would be a truly remarkable stay. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and refinement. Impeccably appointed with every conceivable amenity, it offered a tranquil haven of quietude, allowing for genuine relaxation. Unlike my previous lodging, this was a space designed for actual living and enjoyment. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to indulge in a cigar on the rooftop terrace while being captivated by the breathtaking sunset views, all while savoring the iconic San Sebastián cheesecake. This was not just a moment; it was an experience, a memory etched in perfection. What truly set LASALA Hotel apart was its exceptional staff. Their professionalism was matched only by their genuine warmth and friendliness. They consistently went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure every guest felt valued and catered to. Their dedication to visitor satisfaction was palpable and deeply appreciated. The hotel's interior design was a visual delight. The colorful combination of decorative elements was both striking and harmonious, showcasing a meticulous attention to detail that permeated every corner of the property. Everything, from the grandest feature to the smallest touch, felt thoughtfully curated and impeccably executed. Furthermore, for my specific purpose of visiting for the marathon, the hotel's location was nothing short of ideal.

Overall a lovely modern hotel in the old town with a really helpful and friendly team. Large comfortable bedrooms with fantastic location.

Our bedroom faced the port and whilst the views were fantastic, it appears to the local hangout for kids partying to early morning. Noisy! The trend of hotels these days is to have soap, etc chained down and refillable, whilst I support and like the waste not and reduced plastic approach, I do think if you’re paying this amount of money for a hotel a few luxuries should be offered. At the very least some body cream and a small vanity set.

- Rooms with stunning views over the sea - Amazing location (both quiet but very central between the harbor and the old town) - Very comfortable and spacious room (historical double) - Decent breakfast - Pinchos restaurant on site was great for a break from the town and had some excellent speciality dishes - Fantastic service and lovely staff - Awesome rooftop view with a bar.

- A small point, if being picky: Bathrooms are fine, but the plastic walling around the bathroom was not in keeping with the high quality of everything else. It does not leave much privacy in the room (I.e. shower feels next to the bed and you can almost see through the wall). Feels a bit “CitizenM”.

Centrally located directly in the old town of San Sebastián / next to Aquarium/ beach. Nice lobby - staff very welcoming & helpful. Beach Town service. Roof Top Terrace with great scenic view: on beach, mountain, ocean. Nice restaurant/cafe in the hotel for coffee or snacks. Nice interior of the hotel and the rooms. 24 h room service (I did not make use of it though). We booked transfer service from Bilbao Airport: everything went smooth and nice quality (car/driver).

Pool is only 0.7 m deep and not suitable for swimming. Standard rooms are rather small (no place for luggage). Rooftop Terrace opening hours rather limited in Mai (ref: weather was not great though).

We liked everything, it was fabulous for a 4 star hotel it was better than some 5 star hotels we have stayed in. We stayed in a historical room on the top floor which had views to the square and town and a little balcony you could step out on to. These are much bigger than the rooms overlooking the sea. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The roof terrace was great for drinks and listening to some chill out music with views across to the sea.

The location was absolutely superb, it made exploring the city so convenient. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

The only downside was the parking. Finding a spot nearby was quite difficult, and the hotel's parking was quite expensive at €40 per day. If you're driving, this is something to keep in mind. Otherwise, a wonderful experience, and I would still highly recommend it!

Everything about this hotel was great. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. We were offered a welcome drink on arrival. Our room was great, very comfortable and spacious. The location was really good. The list of restaurants and pintxos that the hotel provided was a really nice addition especially listing the specialities of each place. They also left a message and small chocolate in the room for my birthday which was very nice.
