Simple but clean, bright room with a good size bed. I liked the coffee corner in the hall. The staff was so nice and helpful as well. The cute little balcony with evening sun was lovely. And the location was perfect, walking distance to everything.

The main reason I’m not giving this pension the highest rating is due to the noise. The pension is situated at a rather loud square, and also from inside you could hear the doors banging and people getting coffee in the hall. Luckily we brought earplugs so it wasn’t a big issue, but just good to take into account.

The room was fine with French doors opening to a beautiful little plaza with lots of trees. Surprisingly noisy at night though. Peopole walking home from bars and an inordinate amount of service vehicles (garbage, street cleaning, and vehicles for a nearby construction site). It absolutely did not ruin our stay, and I would gladly book Sarriegi again. There was no ordinary traffic, as the street was on the other side of the building. Very close to stunning Zurro beach which allowed us to take a early morning dip each day of our stay.

Less traffic to the construction site, but I am sure that was just a temporary nuisance and nothing permanent.

Very good location, very nice personal. Small rooms with everything in it. Slightly overpriced but everything is in San Sebastian (see bellow)

My one complain has less to do with the hotel, but more with San Sebastian in itself. The city while beautiful, is covered with palestinian flags, graffitis and other messages - on balconies, and surprisingly in gardens at the beach and other public places, to the point that you question yourself wether you’re in spain. All this to say that if you don’t want to have your vacation “bothered’ by virtue signalling and political agendas showed down to you, you may re-consider the choice of city.

This is a lovely pension in the heart of the old centre of San Sebastion. The room wasn't large, but was modern and clean with a comfortable bed and a good ensuite. French doors opened onto a small balcony overlooking a lovely magnolia lined square. With the doors closed it was very quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of local information. Extra towels were provided when requested. There was tea / coffee facilities in the common area. The hotel was very secure.

The wifi was slow or didn’t work at all.

Fabulous room with private bathroom in the old town close to the very best tapas bars, cafes, shops etc. The room met all our needs and we were very happy. The common area where you can prepare tea, coffee is also very good. The information provided in the booking and by the staff was very helpful. In particular they provide details of free parking and the bus you can catch from there to the old town....worked very well! Bar Nestor is only 150m walk away and I consider this one of the best tapas bars I have visited in my last 3 months in Spain. Great location!

Excellent location. Situated in the old town between the 2 main beaches. Close to the main Pintxos bars. And the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really went above and beyond to help with guests arriving at different times and on 2 different days. Very much appreciated. And a big thank you to Laura who helped with coordinating everything vis whatsapp. That was a massive help.

Room on the boulevard side could be noisy if you have the door open but all rooms have AC.

Pension is located adjacent to Casca Vieja with many bars/restaurants within 3/4 min walk. It is approx. 15 mins walk from bus station and was very easy to find. The pedestrianised shopping district is also adjacent. There are facilities in the room to make tea/coffee and there was also a very nice cafe across the Plaza called Polka where breakfast for two could be had for c.€20. Check in process was very simple with very helpful and friendly staff.

The studio was great for our short stay. Equipped with all the essentials you may have needed if you didn't have them yourself. The team at Pension Sarriegi are very nice, so helpful, always smiling, nothing was a problem. The location is brilliant, very walkable city, sights to see are easy to get to or just sit somewhere & take it all in. Plenty of places to eat, a lot of pinxtos bars, great food everywhere.

The shower stall was a little bit small. Not a big deal just a mention.

Very thoughtful service, very communicative especially through WhatsApp. It is not a luxurious hotel but very good value for money and absolutely fantastic location. Lots of shopping and food within minutes. Very helpful information with parking and parking discount! They provide coffee daily and tea and little cakes which was a good touch. Basic soaps also available.

The street is noisy, wasn't an issue for me but if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem.

This was really a wonderful stay… In the days before arrival, the team was super communicative, with several messages describing everything you need to know before arrival, which was really great… Each of the staffs we interacted with were so lovely, very kind and welcoming, great hospitality by very charming hosts… The location is perfect, right near the old town and steps away from the bus system that can take you anywhere. The room was very clean and very modern, with everything in like-new and working condition… The bed was comfy and the shower was especially great… and there’s a Juliette balcony overlooking the pedestrian area below.. Really enjoyed the stay here and would recommend to anyone
