We had a lovely stay at Hotel Saray. The hotel is stylish and beautifully maintained, with elegant outdoor areas that add a sense of calm and charm. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was large and very comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job each day. The location was excellent — close enough to walk to the city centre and major attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with something for every taste. A real highlight was the fantastic Qübba gastro bar — excellent service, absolutely delicious meals, and exquisite tapas served with every drink. The whole experience felt thoughtful and welcoming, thanks to the professional and kind staff.

Unfortunately, the room wasn’t soundproof. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighbouring room and the corridor, which made it difficult to sleep without earplugs. Everything else was truly wonderful, but the lack of sound insulation did impact nighttime rest.

Grand entrance making a fab first impression. Room was lovely and spacious with everything we needed including mini fridge and great air con. Pool area was clean and not overcrowded and also had a pool bar, reasonably priced! The location of this hotel is just outside of the city centre (10mins walk) but taxis/ Ubers are chap and plentiful and the walk is fine, flat through a Main Street - we did it often and no problems.

It would have been nice to have a hotel bar where you could retire for the evening. (There was a private taps/drinks bar but it would have been nice to have even the pool bar open for casual drinks on an evening)

The rooms were well fitted out, very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It had a pod coffee machine, some hotels do not always restock the pods each day but we were provided 2 pods for each day which is reasonable (we didn't request any extras). The hotel is located a short distance from the city centre and is a very pleasant walk. The view of the mountains is just beautiful. We chose it because we were driving and it had parking (paid at a set rate which was booked in advance). The only facility I used was the gym but for a hotel gym I found it was well equipped.

This is not likely a problem on other days but we arrived on a public holiday and when check in opened there was a queue of over an hour. We also had some trouble getting into the car park when we first arrived. We had booked in advance by contacting the hotel but they could not find our reservation despite spelling my name several times. Later we realised the reason for this, my surname (starting with a U had been written down as L I by mistake). This wouldn't have been an issue as we were allowed in to park but the following night when we were out at dinner we got a call close to 10pm asking about our car, what the registration was, asking us to confirm when we arrived etc. Again not a major issue, rather a small annoyance.

We loved the hotel. It was warm, inviting and comfortable. The bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious. Cleanliness was top tier!

The swimming pool was not open until June, which was ashame as we really wanted to have a swim. We asked if we could borrow an iron just to iron one shirt and they stated that we would have to pay for the service with a 24 hour turn around- not efficient and we thought that the hospitality lacked. It would have been a better experience if there was complimentary teas/treats in the room other than a mini bar which was extortionate. Hospitality makes experience memorable. Though a good experience, not one to remember.

The hotel is comfortable, although a bit old. It's located just out of the city center, south the river, which for us was great because we don't like staying in too crowded places. Anyway it's easy to get to the city center and Alhambra, about 10 minutes by bus or Uber drive. We arrived by car, and parked it in a parking lot at about 5-10 minutes walk to the hotel. There is a parking lot just next to the hotel, but you need to book it in advance. The room is quite large and beds were comfortable, we were on the fourth floor and the room was quiet.

Nothing we didn't like.

Although not exactly in the heart of the city, it was close enough for a short bus or a taxi ride. Room was v comfortable, warm & quiet. Good quality finishes throughout.

The pillows appeared to be foam blocks. One too large & one too small! I rarely drink coffee I don’t have a machine,so I struggled to operate the one in the room. Just a diagram or short explanation would be a bonus for one time users. Only international news available on the British tv & even English speaking films were dubbed into Spanish!

Nice spacious room, clean. Excellent shower with cascades of hot water. Breakfast buffet with a good selection. Easy walking distance to city centre and only 35 min walk (up hill obviously) to Alhambra. Good clean neighbourhood and quiet.

We had a free upgrade as the hotel was very full so our room was lovely with an amazingly large bed and superb bathroom. It was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Daily room service was excellent. There was a well stocked mini bar although we didn't use it. Hotel has a bar and brasserie - again very comfortable and excellent service. We ate there one night and the food was good. There was a pool with plenty of seating and sunbeds though we only used it once as there was so much to see and do in Granada. Hotel staff were exceptionally helpful.

Room was clean and quiet, staff people were polite and helpful. Swimming pool is nice, there is a bar with reasonable prices, but it closes at 20:00, it would be better if pool worked couple hours more. I didn't pre-pay breakfasts, but I payed for them on site, no problem with this. Breakfast was mediocre, but okay, it fulfilled my expectations. In the middle of stay I found out that hotel has gym, unfortunately I had no time to use it, it is small, but seems pretty fine. Also, I appreciate the size of safe in the room, it can hold several laptops in it. Thermostat works fine.

In such place like Granada it would be much better if the room had at least free bottle of water or a cooler in a hallway, cause tap water has pipes taste. Also it didn't have shoehorn, but I didn't ask staff.

Hotel Saray is a classic 4 star hotel. Large ornate reception area. Multiple floors with decent sized, comfortable en-suite bedrooms, restaurant and decent swimming pool. We were there for a 2 day stay in Granada to see the Alhambra. Taxi from the Palacio de Congress (which is round the corner) to the Alhambra for an 830am entry was E6.80. it was a 10-15 minute walk into the city center. Plus there is the option to get the local bus in and out of town. Bus stops right outside the hotel. The hotel has its own parking but this is expensive. There are multiple parking options nearby. We parked in the car park at Palacio de Congress, arrived about 1130, left the following day about 330 and it cost E23.65. Pool is decent & reasonable size. Sufficient to relax around and cool off for a while.

Rooms were not ready on arrival at 330 pm. They should have been ready by 2pm. We were told we would have to wait 15 minutes for housekeeping to finish the 2nd room. We pushed and reception then found alternative rooms which were readier ! To be honest didn't really mind, what we were hoping was that the hotel would give us complimentary breakfasts as a compensator but we didn't manage to swing that !!
