I had a delightful stay at this well-located establishment. The hotel's proximity to local bars, restaurants, and shops was incredibly convenient, making it an ideal choice for travelers seeking a vibrant and accessible area. The family suite I booked was not only cozy but also accommodated our pet, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The attention to detail in ensuring a pet-friendly environment was much appreciated. One standout aspect of our stay was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, which left a lasting positive impression.

While my overall experience at this establishment was positive, there was one notable inconvenience that I encountered. The absence of a private car park on the premises was a drawback. Unfortunately, the nearby private parking lot was fully occupied during my visit, which resulted in some difficulty finding a suitable parking space for my car.

Hotel is very conveniently located in Realejo. It was only 15 minutes walking uphill to Puerta de la Justicia and entering Alhambra. Also very close to lots of restaurants. Buses from airport / bus station stop at about 10 mins walking. Shower has good power. Bed is comfortable. 24/7 staff at reception. Free luggage storage was easy to manage.

Aircon was difficult to manage: either full on or off. Got too cold quickly. Carpet in the room is old and looks not quite clean. Please change it. Fridge produces a lot of heat which gets into the safe which does not really feel quite right for storing laptop.

The hotel was amazing and a perfect choice as just outside to the right less then a minute of walking there is a bus stop that takes you to the main entrance to Alhambra. The staff is very pleasant and kind and as we only had several hours before a bus to go back to Seville we asked receptionist where we could go for a walk and site seeing. She recommended a nice and easy walk where you have amazing views of Alhambra from the outside! But the best feature this hotel has is a roof top terrace where you can have you morning coffee and a cigarette with breathtaking view of the city! Worth the money for sure and highly recommended.

The staff at the hotel are amazing; they were helpful, friendly, and always smiling. I couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is very cozy, and I loved the rooms. I even had a small table outside my room where I could smoke. Please don’t expect this to be a five-star hotel; it is a simple and small establishment, and the view from the room isn’t fantastic. However, for the price, the quality of the staff, and the location, this hotel is exceptional. I will definitely choose this hotel every time I return to Granada, without a doubt. And by the way, they have a Bidet in the room, which is extremely important for me.

A minor negative is that the shower is small, so if you're a big person, you might find it a little tight, but nothing major.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casual Ilbira Granada and could not be more grateful for the experience. The hotel itself was wonderful — all amenities were provided, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a restful and enjoyable stay. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the kindness and humanity of its staff, which I experienced during an extraordinary situation. I checked out on April 28, 2025 — the very day when a massive power outage struck Spain, Portugal, and parts of France, bringing everything to a standstill. Trains stopped running, credit cards didn’t work, and services everywhere were closed. I had planned to travel to Madrid after checkout but suddenly found myself stranded in Granada, without cash, and with no available hotels due to the blackout. In desperation, I returned to Casual Ilbira Granada, even though they were fully booked. Despite having no rooms available, the staff showed incredible compassion and allowed me to stay in the lobby. They made sure I was comfortable, going above and beyond when they truly didn’t have to. I especially want to thank Angel, who usually works the night shift. His kindness and company during such a stressful time made all the difference. With no internet or phone network, we ended up having a deep and thoughtful conversation that I will always remember. I also want to appreciate the other staff members — a lady and a gentleman who were working during the day — who showed the same level of kindness and understanding by letting me stay and helping me feel safe. In moments of crisis, you see the true character of people, and the team at Casual Ilbira Granada showed nothing but generosity, warmth, and humanity. I cannot recommend this hotel enough — not just for its comfortable rooms and amenities, but for the incredible people who work there. Thank you again to Angel and the entire team!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. When I couldn't get my heating to work, it was solved immediately. Breakfast is extensive for a buffet style, and well presented. There are plenty of lifts, so if you are on an upper floor you don't have long waiting times.Beds very comfortable and great views from thhe roof terrace.The C32 bus up to the Albiacin and Alhambra is outside the front door, only takes 15 minutes and only costs€1.60..It drops just yards from the ticket office/ entrance. You can also catch it back. . Taxis are also quick to arrive and cheap compared TO UK.

Please note that if you opt for a balcony, you will be on the roof. Lovely in daylight and good weather, but a nightmare to find / negotiate late at night, in the rain, at the end of a long day of travelling . Definitely not suitable if you gave a mobility issue.

We liked a room, despite the fact that there were not any view (window was watching at the window from the opposite side). It was spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Roof terrace was amazing. Breakfast was good value for money.

We didn't like the fact that cleaning person didn't change the towel which was on the floor (actually, she took it but she didn't provide a new one) and also we had a coffee in the room just for the first day of our stay, but not for other two. Also, we didn't like the pillows - they had very strange shape and they were very uncomfortable.

Unlike two other hotels I stayed in on the same trip, there was a kettle in the room (and coffee/tea/milk and sugar all there too). I love a coffee before I do anything else for the day, and I like it made weak - so the individual sachets are perfect as I can control the amount I want to use. The wall art is phenomenal, and really brightens a room. The hotel is minful of water conservation/environmental issues, and has a unique way of letting you tell them you do not want your room cleaned and, if you use it, they give you a code so you can have a tree planted instead. There is a great view from the roof terrace. And the staff were very helpful and happy to recommend a range of places to eat/flamenco shows that are worth seeing. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. They provide, for no extra charge, a shoe shine kit and also a bag for your dirty clothes so you can keep them separate in your suitcase. I already take a bag specifically for this, but so refreshing to see a hotel provide this for free.

The breakfast was not great. The eggs and bacon were cold, not even luke warm - despite me arriving as soon as breakfast started. Their pastries were okay, not spectacular, so don't feel breakfast is worth the additional charge
