In today's world of standardization, Gar Anat is a rare place. Full of unique, fun, vibrant art, the hotel provides a beautiful balm for all senses including taste with the daily serving of an expertly cooked breakfast buffet by one of the owners. Service is key, and the staff is very attentive by answering queries and responding to texts and emails. They provide booking for a tour of Alhambra, which I highly recommend. The tour director was wonderful. I felt that this hotel compliments the unique feel of Granada and therefore is a beautiful place to stay while visiting.

Absolutely nothing.

This is a charming boutique hotel, set in a quiet spot and decorated with an eye for design and aesthetics. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location is close to bars and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was also good.

We travelled in July, and the air conditioning didn't work, and our room was very hot. When we alerted the staff to the issue, they provided a fan, which was all that was needed to sleep, but if you weren't in front of the fan, the room was still very hot. With only a sheet on the bed, I think the hotel realises the air conditioning just isn't up to the job. Would recommend staying here, but not in the hot summer months.

The staff were efficient. They seemed to have a useful standard script. but were always very helpful. The hotel was near to the Cathedral , though not in a particularly pretty part of town... Lots of things were within walking distance. our room on tyhe first floor, was spacious with very modern furniture and with a big bathroom. The shower was nice though not powerful. The lobby was interesting, but we the robes and slippers provided were helpful, as was the laundry service, as we had been travelling light between hotels for some time. Breakfasts were great, with all guests using a long refrectory type table. this led to discussions between guests of different nationalities which was an extra pleasure.

The decor was cool and modern .Older/antique furnishings do tend to make an establishment feel more warm and homely. Not everyone might like the sharing of the long breakfast table.

This was a fabulous hotel. Unique decorating made it ‘boutique’ rather than the chain hotels. Spacious rooms that were very quiet. The beds were very comfortable and it was very, very clean. The breakfast was served in another unique space and the woman who looked after it was helpful. A good selection with the fruit really memorable. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a really lovely stay here.

Nothing to write here

Loved the location, in the heart of the city. Everything was so close. Easy to get around. Good communication with the hotel. Classy but not snobbish. Relaxing and peaceful accommodation. Lovely staff. Quirky. Very comfy beds and pillows. Spotlessly clean. Fridge in room was perfect. We welcomed the upgrade. Thank you. I have already recommended to friends including one that travels in that area frequently.

The shower had a good force behind it. It just didn't stay put if you raised it higher.

We got up-grated to a bigger room, which was a nice surprice and with the most comfortable beds. The loacation was excellent, right in town, walking to everything. Parking in Granada is tricky and the parking lot near by the hotel, it bit pricy, euro 20, per day. It was not so easy to get in and out of the underground parking with a. SUV, and many oneway streets, it was like being in a maze! But the hotel was very clean and nicely decorated , you can sense the old heritage in the walls . Would come back , had the best sleep.

Parking was a challenge.

Amazing location within walking distance of all the historical sites in Granada. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodations were exceptional. Breakfast was very good, and parking was convenient.

There isn’t anything anyone can do about the narrow streets of Granada where the hotel is situated. Drivers be forewarned: do not attempt to take a large vehicle into the part of Granada where the hotel is located. The parking garage, while convenient, is also very cramped. If you must drive, please consider a small compact car.

The staff was very personable and friendly. The receptionist really took her time with recommendations and I'd like to particularly mention the lady working at breakfast - very polite, helpful and quick. At the end, a young man walked us to our car so that our way into the garage would be easier. It's small gestures like this which make one feel welcome. The wishing tree is a sweet extra in a beautiful historical house in a phantastic location right in the old Jewish quarter and within easy walking from the alhambra and the Albaicín. Our room was very comfortable and clean with an enormous bath tub with whirlpool function. Will definitely stay there again when in Granada.

The seating arrangement in thr breakfast room feels a little bit weird, everybody on a long table with little privacy. Otherwise, breakfast was very good.

The location couldn’t be better, it’s a few minutes from excellent restaurants and areas of the city for shopping, having coffee and/or sampling some of the evening activities like the light show in the square. The room was fabulous and we were offered a free upgrade and the bed was enormous and spotless clean and serviced everyday. We didn’t have breakfast so unfortunately I can’t comment.

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t like. The staff were particular attentive and went out of their way to help and assist you. Excellent.

The location could not be improved upon, just around the corner from Plaza Isobel la Catolica. The bus hub is a few minutes walk as are the shops and the cathedral. The staff were helpful and friendly and very well informed. The room was clean, quiet and well equipped, all the rooms are off a pleasant covered courtyard. There is a small library with access to a computer with free tea and coffee available from 16:00 - 22:00. The excellent breakfast is served in a medieval basement crypt.

I don't think there was anything not to like.
