Excellent place and facility. Nice, helpful people with lots of good advice on what to see and when. Spectacular location. Streets are bustling in this area. Rooms are lovely and the building is superb.
If you are driving here, beware your car's GPS! It may take you down streets that are barely 2 metres wide, so basically nothing other than a smart fortwo would fit. The access by road to the hotel is not easy but it's worth the effort! There is nothing that can be done about this as the property is in the Albaicin....it's just something to be aware of. The parking facility under the Park is quite OK.

A beautiful place to stay in the historic area of Granada! The hotel manager Ingo was very friendly and even gave us a rundown of the best places to go in Granada, as well as booking us a Flamenco show. He went above and beyond. The facilities are a historic Moorish house and are thoughtfully decorated and well-kept but with modern amenities. There is a park with a playground right outside which was great for our 2 year old. It was walking distance to much of historic Granada, with a bus stop outside that took you to the Alhambra and other areas of interest.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

It is a family owned and operated boutique hotel that has been lovingly restored. The central patio creates a delightful ambiance. The salon is comfortably furnished with hot and cold drinks available. The family/staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and furnished with Andalusian style furniture. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Our bath and bedroom windows looked out on a quiet street and rooftops of the Albaicín, great neighborhood for exploring winding streets with superb views of the Alhambra. There is a convenient mini bus that stops practically at the front door.

Loved the traditional style of this hotel and its location. Ideal for accessing everywhere on foot if you want or take the bus which stops almost outside the front door. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were great. There are places to sit and read and a drinks section that’s always available and full. Not a machine, a kettle and a coffee pot with good selection of others beverages too. A stand out quality of this hotel is the owner, Ingo. He is there to meet you and goes over everything you need to know for your visit and can help organise things for you. Stand out service from a lovely man.

Beautiful character filled building and we loved the vibe of the place. The rooms were large and furnished traditionally to match the setting. The staff were extremely friendly! Cosy breakfast room and a tasty homemade breakfast. Nice internal courtyard to enjoy a cup of tea or the homemade lemonade (my daughter loved it) The neighborhood is gorgeous with views of the Alhambra at every turn. Great base for exploring Granada with an authentic local feel.
Minor note: because of the age of the building it is not completely soundproof and you can expect noise to travel between rooms. Our first night was very quiet but on the second night there was a lot of noise from the room above ours so it really depends on the guests.

I loved the hotel's location and the historic period of the building. The staff accommodated our needs, and the breakfast was the best in town. They even packaged up some homemade bread for us to take on our journey.
At first glance, the interior of the room gave an underwhelming impression. The linens and bathroom amenities could have been better, to provide for a more boutique experience. The linens were not really soft, and the shampoo/conditioner/shower gel were just big bottles of average products. The mattress was too firm, and the pillows were not overly comfortable.

Charming hotel with attentive and helpful staff. The location can't be surpassed - I walked all over Grenada from here. I'd be happy to stay here again

The location is superb for exploring both the Alhambra and city centre, with regular buses going past the door of the hotel. The hotel team is also very welcoming and helpful on tips for things to see and getting around. Lola was absolutely charming.
There is nothing we didn’t like. But visitors should be warned about the challenge of driving this side of the city. Albaicin is a labyrinth of very narrow streets and is difficult to navigate in a car. We had very good and detailed instructions about how to enter the residents-only area to reach a car park on the same street as the hotel, but it was stressful as some of the streets were literally millimetres wider than our small. We were very happy to leave the car in the garage for 2 day and go everywhere on foot or by bus. Taxis are also available and know the best route in - so it is a hotel I would 100% recommend for people arriving in Granada by train.

The venue was in a perfect spot for us and near what we were looking for. The parking facility was excellent. The Hotel Hosts were outstanding and the welcoming greeting we received from Igno was unbeatable (magnificent recommendations for us first timers at Granada). Breakfast was very good and eggs ala carte were great. The local bus stop was steps away to get to La Alhambra or many other city areas if walking was not desired (we did not use the car in the 2 nights we stayed). Laundry service was an added plus. Room and bedding were very comfortable and cleanliness and attention to detail was evident everywhere. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
There was nothing we could say we disliked.

The property is located in the historic neighborhood of Albayzin. It's walkable from the downtown Centre of the city as well as the Alhambra. Bus no 31 and 32 stops just outside the property gate so it's super convenient to travel around the city. You can walk to San Nicolas viewpoint in less than 5 mins and there are many good restaurants like Las Tomasas and eateries in Plaza Larga which are close to the property. The property itself is a 16th century building which has been tastefully converted into a classy hotel by the owners. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and they had good heating in the room which was a must as we travelled in winters. The best part is the owners and the staff. We were warmly received and welcomed by Ana upon arrival. She patiently explained everything about Granada and marked it down on a physical map. The breakfast was homely and fulfilling with options of eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, bread, tea and coffee. As we were going to check out early in the morning the property arranged for a taxi which was there sharp at 6 am. The owners were so thoughtful that they kept a takeaway basket of breakfast at our door the other night before we checked out. All in all it was a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Santa Isabel La Real and would surely recommend it to everyone who wants to experience a warm and homely experience in the heart of Albayzin in Granada.
There was nothing to dislike about the property.
