- The hotel is old but well kept, gives off a classy feel - Nice and helpful staff - Great location: close from everything - Cleanliness - Spacious and comfortable rooms with plenty of natural light and good views

- The biggest negative aspect is the night noise from the street. Makes it hard to rest. The street has plenty of night life and the hotel management should seriously consider soundproofing the windows as well, not just the space between the rooms (between the rooms soundproofing is good), the noise can get to a really uncomfortable volume and just changing glasses of windows for the soundproof ones can already improve the situation by a lot.

We really liked our stay here. Very friendly staff, the lady on reception (Maria) even opened the buffet for us in the morning and asked another very friendly lady to make breakfast, which she did. The room was very nice with an extremely comfortable bed. My best nights sleep so far on the Camino de Santiago. We also had a very welcome bath, and the location was absolutely excellent.

To be honest, I expected some kind of basic coffee and tea making facilities as this is normal in my native England. A few free sachets of coffee, some tea bags, sugar, and some milk would have been really nice after a long day on the road.

Very central hotel with underground car park.

Really hard to find with car as inside notional pedestrian area. Very noisy at night due to revellers from Calle Laurel tapas area.

Staff was really nice. The room very spacious and the beds a good size. Location was super central in Logrono, and close to a free car park.

Reception gave us an interior or exterior room option. We chose an exterior room and were warned that sometimes the street can be noisy. However, we did not expect noise to go on until 4 in the morning, so this is something you should be aware of. It did give us a fantastic view on the old part of Logrono, which was amazing. Furthermore, the windows creaked a lot even though they were closed and there was hardly any wind.

Located right in the heart of Logrono, and only a few metres from the famous "Calle De Laurel" area. The hotel is easy to find, the reception staff were polite and helpful, especially with regard to parking the car. (Don't bother booking the hotel garage, the best underground city car park you will ever find is only metres from the hotel). Our room was clean, well presented and spacious. Nice shower and facilities. Good free wi-fi. Hotel bar was reasonably priced but we did not try the food. My only point to note was that the area immediately outside the hotel was very noisy, until very late (early!). Of course this is not a criticism because we chose a hotel right in the centre and it was a busy Saturday night, but guests with rooms at the front of the building would be advised to bring earplugs (we did).

This is our second stay at this hotel and everything was excellent. Our room was amazing and so convenient to be able to cross the road to the amazing Tapas Bars

The only down side was the breakfast which we feel is not good value for money and wasn't easy to get everything you wanted at the same time. i.e. toast took ages to cook, meanwhile you were trying to get a coffee from the machine where you had to queue up, then the toast would be ready. A bit haphazard.

Staff and hotel

No private parking even though we reserved it. We were told to go round several roads and park in a super market car park. We then had to pay 25 euros to get the car out the following day. As we are older people we always book on site parking. Although we liked the place and hotel the parking situation really spoilt our stay there.

The location was excellent. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. Lovely big room and bathroom. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Parking on site, although tight in certain places.

Only one shower gel for two people for the night. We needed more than one shower due to the hot weather ! Luckily I had another. So not really anything to dislike.

The room was spacy and the beds ok. Alternative rooms were perhaps occupied and we were located in a handicap friendly room. Warning though for the chair at the working station. Easy to fall and get hurt. The wifi was ok. Nice location and a handy size town with walking distance to nice restaurants and tapas bars. Free car park is outside the defence wall, but still walking distance to the hotel.

Good choice if visiting Calle de Laurel as it's just over the road. Was ok to find and drop off the bags. We booked parking but still had to drive a few blocks to this and walk back as our car wouldn't fit in the on-site garage which is for small cars only. (Ours is a 4x4 but not a huge one) think fiat or similar. Rooms are clean, comfortable and there's a lift for access. Food in the little bar area is ok - cheaper to just go and get breakfast items there rather than book the breakfast. There was nothing nearby for breakfast so we ended up back at the hotel.

Bar area is very small with just a few stools and a couple of tables but there's plenty of choices for evening food and drinks nearby. It's noisy!! Very noisy and until quite late, but this is the price of being right at the heart of the tapas culture and we expected it. Nothing the hotel can do - if it might bother you, bring ear-plugs maybe.
