The location is really great, right by the church and in the center of lots of cafes and restaurants. Laundry services are close by, about a 10 minute walk. The room was small, perfect for 1 person. Be patient with the shower, it takes a minute to warm up, but you'll get a nice hot shower. There was shampoo and body wash provided as well, which was a nice treat. Bed was comfy and clean.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. However, worth noting- this was my first time staying at a Pensión and I wasn't sure how check in worked since the door was locked. But, all you have to do is press the call button that saying "Pensión" and they will buzz you in. You walk up a set of stairs and the reception is right there. From there, there is an elevator and the reception will give you a set of keys; 1 for the building, 1 for the pension, and 1 for the room. Just thought I'd add this for anyone else that's not sure how it works. 😊

Because of Calle Portalles it is quite noisy with diners at night and then street cleaners come at dawn. Earplugs helped!

Comfy single bed. Decent shower. Helpful staff, let me leave my luggage for a bit. Great location, right by concatedral. Plenty of shops, bars etc nearby. Restaurant right next door did a lovely vegetable stew. There was also a nice bookshop a few doors down. Bus and train stations were also quite walkable.

Room wasn't huge. A drawer or drawers would have been nice. Potentially a bit noisy. When I let myself in the main door of the pensión with all my luggage, I struggled a bit as the door was heavy and the light didn't come on.

Very close to the cathedral. Nice location. Room was comfortable and had a fan.

I was sick and wanted to stay another day to recover but they didn't have space. Not really a negative just something I had to navigate. Staff was cordial but not overly friendly.

City centre location. Staff were very welcoming and found a place for my bicycle, which was very welcome.

A bit hard to find, but that might be me being a bit thick. Stairway is shared with other residents and could have been cleaner, but the pension itself was fine.

The location is unbeatable—right across the street from the Cathedral and around the corner from Calle Laurel. We were able to check in early. Very good service…una señora simpática did our laundry same day for 5 euro.

The first of 2 girls, the younger one, did not offer advise or suggestions. She was short spoken, I had to call her on the phone and insist she give me the wifi. She wanted me to go down the hall instead. I am fully bilingual, so there was no misunderstanding.

The room was generally fine but the entire place smell a bit of smoke from the building generally.

Best comforter I have experienced in a multiple week trip. Usually they are too big, too heavy, too warm. This one was soft, bright white, light-weight, and perfect. For that alone, a 9.

No complaints. It was a little strange - the 3 key system and if I had had clothing to wash, I would likely have been frustrated because there was no place to hang them to dry. But I didn’t.

Really clean and well-maintained. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms were spotless, and everything felt really well looked after. Definitely one of the Cleaner hostels l've stayed in.
