This was for a work trip so the location was based on the location of the work. There wasn’t much to see around or walk around . But the hotel itself exceeded expectations with respect to how the front office deal with all the troubles I had. They were super helpful in every bit . The rooms are big and spacious and the bathrooms are equipped with everything you need .

The refills are totally not environmental friendly. Need to stop giving new small Packs every day . Super wasteful . Gym is not safe flooring . Yoga mats were not available on one one day

I recently stayed at the AC Hotel Avenida de América by Marriott, and I was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel exceeded my expectations, especially in terms of cleanliness. we did encounter a small issue with the air conditioning leaking in our original room. Fortunately, the staff were quick to respond and resolved the situation right away. They moved us to a new, larger room without any hassle, which made up for the inconvenience. Despite the hiccup, I would still recommend this hotel for its excellent service and clean environment!

The bed was comfy and overall the place was clean and despite being on a main street there wasn't a lof of noise at night. The AC was working fine which was a bonus.

The room was a little outdated, the floors were scuffed and the lighting was too dim. On the first day, I checked into the room there was hair left in the drain in the bathtub however this washed down the drain once I opened the tap so I didn't bother complaining about it. I also specifically requested a queen bed and got a twin bed instead which was a little inconvenient when sleeping. The breakfast buffet however was really not worth it.

The staff is amazing, especially Louis the director of sales who went out of this way to help us carry our luggage. Joy at the reception was extremely pleasant, and Nacho at the restaurant was fantastic. The beds are super comfy and the room was cozy. All over it was a good experience.

Housekeeping: poor maintenance of cleanliness and supply of amenities

The Hotel is super clean and modern and the staff very helpful . The restaurant it is very nice we eat dinner and in general the food was delicious the only suggest to the chef is that the black bogavante rice it was to salty a litte less salt will be amazing. The location it close to Serrano but you need take a taxi because close by it si not to many places cool to eat or enjoy a coffee place around the corner and a supermarket and 2 little rest a front of the hotel , maybe if you walk long distance probably you will find it , we took a taxi to Serrano it was Eu 9,00 not to bad and in car it is pretty close.

Nice, quiet location a short walk from the Cartagena Metro stop. Nice breakfast restaurant, with a great spread and wonderful staff. All the interactions with the hotel staff were very nice. The room was large with twin beds (I was a solo traveler), and everything about it, including the bathroom was very impressive. (One remark: As someone else noted, the room was indeed a tad dark with all lights on. It would help to have one light, the one above the reading desk perhaps, that was bright.)

First of All Location!… Salamanca is a residential area, nice bakeries around, shops to eat at any time, cleaner area than Downtown, breakfast very nice! and the staff very kind and professionals, helpful at any time! Supermarket just a few steps from the Hotel, etc Clean and new towels! Windows that open! AC that works great! Wood Floors!…. Love it!

As a suggestion, I would say, I need it a mirror with xtra lens/special for older ladies😉

I would say the gym is more a checklist for them than an actual "we want to have a gym" but aside from that hotel is very clean and organized. Buffet is really nice although expensive and does not include eggs!

Beds were clean and comfortable, what you would expect from a marriott brand hotel. Room was spacious and clean, and the location was good for what we needed.

Temperature controls were not the best, it was not the best and even on low settings the room was quite warm. The window was to the main road so could not leave open. May not be good in hotter months. The fitness room was also very small, basic and had no visible way to cool.
