Excellent location (beautiful, green, and safe neighborhood, large selection of cafes/bars and restaurants around, supermarket across the street, public transport stations all around), welcoming and helpful staff (fast processing of check in/checkout, could also store our luggage for a couple of hours before heading to the airport after checking out of the room), clean and quiet room (due to the fact it was not facing the boulevard), very comfortable bed with large selection of pillows, room equipped with effective air conditioning

Fridge and air con not working without hotel card ‘plugged in’ (in our absence, leaving any of them on without leaving a card behind was not possible), bathroom fan not working or missing (just a ventilation in the ceiling), very noisy toilet when flushing

Exceptional location in an authentic part of Madrid, away from all the tourists, yet still close enough to visit all the sites, very friendly reception, excellent breakfast, very comfortable room.

No air conditioner, window opened to back alley that smelled like fried grease and was loud, room cleaning lady was way too aggressive and kept moving all my belongings - so I opted to not have my room cleaned the last 3 days.

We recently spent 8 days at Dormirdcine, a cinema-themed hotel in Madrid (Salamanca area), and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to three metro stations and a bus station nearby, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite arriving at 10:00 AM, well before the official check-in time of 2:00 PM, our room was ready, and we were able to check in immediately. This was a wonderful start to our stay. The hotel's cleanliness and comfort are top-notch. Our room was spotless (fresh towels and bed-linen every single day), and the unique cinema-themed decor (Woody Allen, our room 516) added a fun and charming touch to the ambiance. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Great Nesspresso coffee, too! On our last day, we had a late-night flight and the hotel staff kindly allowed us to leave our baggage in a secure room behind the reception. This thoughtful gesture enabled us to enjoy our final day in Madrid without any worries. Thank you, Dormirdcine, for an unforgettable stay. We will definitely return and highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone visiting Madrid! ❤️

Adorable hotel. Staff is just the best. Truly helpful and genuinely kind. Place is 5 mins away from the Bus 200 that take you to the T2 etc airport. So convenient. The hotel is spotless clean and bed was very confortabile. It is a particular structure, not your everyday hotel. The popcorn at the arrival and thereafter are a treat. Special mentions to the ladies at the bar/restaurant and reception who helped me patiently to get settled as unfortunately I have gotten a terrible cold/grippe and they had been just amazing and ready ro help with honey/hot water. Fully recommend a stay there. Close to Gota and Velasquez buzz and rizz a short pleasant walk to it. Thank you again for how I was received and helped. Best wishes, Elena Savin

The pipes in the baths are bit noisy and walls are bit thin:-) but if you are tired, maybe you wont hear.

Very very friendly staff, comfortable rooms and beds. Great location. I only stayed for one night and left early the next morning so I couldn't experience it much, but it was a very comfortable night and the hotel had a great vibe.

Just a couple of small things. There was no trash bag in my room which I thought was a little strange but I ended up using a duty free bag I got as one. Was also a little disappointed that breakfast started at 8am on weekends as I had to check out early in the morning, however I will say that the staff member on the morning shift was absolutely lovely and still offered me some pastries and coffee when I came down at 7:30 regardless.

Everything! We will be back. We stayed in room 404: Amelie Massive Bed! Extremely comfortable. Treats like popcorn and lollipops made us smile! Staff are really polite and helpful. Elena was very kind to us. Great bathtub. Pristine clean. Try the restaurant for food or drinks. Room service was a dream. Location was perfect for everything visiting the city or going to the airport. Everything is nearby and walking around is safe and beautiful. Prepare your camera. Stunning arquitecture in Salamanca district.

When I arrived exhausted and desperate for a comfy bed I was so happy I’d booked this hotel! The staff were friendly, it’s clean and stylishly decorated. Nice big room with space to move around. The room has a fridge, hanging space, a chair, table, safe and suitcase stand. Bathroom is spacious and shower was great. I asked for a quiet room and had no noise at all. Nice touches like a huge full length mirror in the corridor was appreciated. Felt safe as you can only access the lift with a key card. Plenty of plug sockets. Lovely big and comfortable bed. The local area is nice with the metro, supermarket, pharmacy and cafes very close.

we needed a place very close to the Las Americas bus station, as we had to be at the airport before the metro starts at 06:00. dormidcine fit the bill, with very good rating, but we weren't even sure it's a hotel. well, it is a hotel, a great hotel, with all the services we wanted, a clean and beautiful room with bathroom, good space, and breakfast. as we couldn't attend breakfast on premise, the night receptionist provided us with good picnic boxes, on demand the evening before. moreover, the location is on a vast boulevard going straight to the very impressive touristic center of Madrid. I'm very happy with the decision to stay here.

well, one thing. it was not clear it's a hotel, even though it's more than just a boring hotel.

The room was very comfortable, with a large comfortable double bed and ample pillows. It was wonderfully quiet even with the window open - a nice luxury as the aircon was very good. The shower was easily adjusted and too strong for me, but easily turned down to a comfortable level. The range and quality of food at breakfast was excellent. The metro takes you to the centre of town with one change, and the buses in Madrid are great; Viva Google Maps for their directions.

Two things: the shower leaked copiously onto the floor and needed a full towel to dry it, and in the hand-basin, the plug was not properly connected so that it neither drained fast and let the water leak away. The coffee was not to my taste (actually vile - black capsule Nespresso). I had some decaf so as to enjoy a coffee out in the town.
