Spotlessly clean and spacious suite with kitchen, laundry & AC! The Suites Barrio de Salamanca is very well located with quick access to restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance. There’s a bus stop a block away that runs into downtown.

There is a sofa bed but we couldn’t open it fully due to there not being enough space with the other furniture in the living area. As we were only two travelers, we used the two twins in the bedroom but it would have been nice to have the extra sleep surface.

Excellent location for proximity to the university, nice neighbourhood generally, albeit that one needs to take the metro to the city and main attractions. Nice apartment with wonderful balcony with view over the adjacent museum and park, easy to stay with a kid and enough room. Coffee and tea in the room

If we had been doing any real cooking of our own - which we did not -, the kitchen could have been better equipped, there were only a minimal number of plates and other things. That said, there are wonderful restaurants around, so we were not too tempted to cook ourselves.

Clean and functional. Staff lovely, especially lady in reception who helped us navigate the tractor blockade of Madrid. We were relatively unaffected but her tips and advice on where to avoid were very accurate. Liked kettle/tea, mini bar very expensive. Close to the airport and pleasant cafes nearby. Uber and taxi plentiful and cheap. Very clean city.

Only one bedside table. Poor show for twin beds. Rooms have no soft furnishings so very noisy from early morning as you can hear rooms above below moving chairs, beds/housekeeping etc. rooms a bit tired and basic. you can open window thankfully and I would imagine in the peak of summer you will be glad of cooling, dark rooms.

The suite was a good size for myself and my daughter. Having a kitchen meant we didn't always need to eat out and used the local markets. Very clean and comfortable with a great terrace to sit in the sun.

A bit noisy at night with refuse collection and student accomodation across the road. It would have been nice to have a few more pillows and a quilt for the sofa bed, rather than two small thin blankets.

Location was fantastic for us in the heart of salamanca area (not in the center of madrid) Large suites Kitchen was great Friendly staff

There is noises from the nearby bar specially on weekends Bed sheets was clean but sometimes the housekeeper put a damaged bed sheet hole in the middle anyone can see it Breakfast they have to improve it , so basic and not a delicious.

The room was huge as it was actually a whole apartment. The interior is a little old, but personally this didn’t bother me at all. Breakfast was very good and the location was also very good for my needs. Staff were very helpful - especially when I realised I had forgotten something in my room and came back after having checked out to find it. Staff were very kind and helpful and helped me find my lost item.

The staff at the reception and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. The room had a balcony, which I really liked, and there was even a view of the neighboring streets. The area is quiet and peaceful, with no crowds of tourists. There is a nice restaurant and a grocery store on the street.

There was nothing here that I could complain about.

The wonderful very helpful staff provided excellent service. One of us has mobility issues and they provided a special shower chair to facilitate bathing. Other important features include a very well connected location, a great breakfast, a very comfortable clean apartment and a terrace with a great view of the museum next door (including it's lovely gardens).

The front entrance has some steps to reach the lobby and has a wheelchair lift. We found using the steps was more convenient (one of us has mobility issues).

Spacious room and friendly staff. The service was such a contrast compared with the other 4 star hotel around the corner that we stayed the night before. The staff was much more polite and approachable here.

The room was a bit dated but it was clean and big and had a kitchen which was convenient for a family.

Excellent well connected location. The staff was wonderful (very helpful). They have a great breakfast, including great service. Very comfortable bed. Great view. Good Wi-fi. We highly recommend visiting the museum next door (around corner).

Although they do have a chair lift at the entrance, the steps were more convenient to use (one of us has mobility issues).
