The hotel is in a very nice part of Madrid. It is not on a main road so is relatively quiet. Three blocks away from the nearest Metro station. Good places to eat fairly close by.

Room was close to the lift, so a bit of noise from it. The restaurant is excellent but open to the public at lunchtime and in the evening, so very busy. The coffee machine made ten types of coffee but not ordinary decaf americano.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful.

The room did not include a kettle and an iron, I had to request them at the reception. The iron was provided the same day, but I only received the kettle on the second day because none were available initially. It would be great if these items were already in the room, especially for guests on a tight schedule.

The property is well located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the Barrio de Salamanca. The housekeeping staff is excellent and took very good care of us during our stay. The housekeeper on our floor was always pleasant and greeted us with a smile.

While our room was spacious and comfortable for a European hotel room, there were times when it had an odor, like there were gases coming from the plumbing.

The staff was very friendly and kind and the facilities super nice. I arrived in the afternoon before my room was ready and when I came back to check into my room, they had given me an upgrade to very beautiful suite. All things considered, including value, staff, location, and facilities, I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Madrid’s nicest area, Salamanca.

The location is great. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe here. I wanted a quiet room and they really delivered. Had a really great, super-calm stay overall - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful too. The check-in and check-out process was quick and smooth. The first day I couldn't work out the a/c controls and asked for help. The housekeeping staff set-up the controls at my preferred setting and I didn't have to bother with it for the rest of my stay.

The room did not have coffee or tea making facilities; at least an electric kettle would have been appreciated as I had a bad throat and wanted to nurse it with some warm water regularly. I am vegetarian, and the non-meat option for an evening meal through room service is severely limited.

at check in I requested late check out which was granted without conditions having been indicated. Reconfirmed late check out day before and was told then that there was an additional amount to be paid. After I explained what happened, this request for an additional amount was dropped. The mess should have been avoided at check in. It would be great if rooms had coffee/tea machine

The reception staff was very helpful, welcoming, warm, caring The strived to help and make the stay pleasurable. The cleaning lady on my floor, was also nice and provided me with a kettle immediately

I had to order room service because there was no room at the small restaurant downstairs, then my lunch arrived cold

The property very nice installations seems recently remodeled. The location is wonderful walking distance to key areas of the barrio of salamanca including the shopping area.

Guest were not prioritized in the hotel restaurant. We were unable to get a table. Staff communicated we had to have a reservation that we were unable to obtain.

We chose a location in Salamanca with easy access to popular streets for shopping and restaurants. The location was ideal for us. We were able to walk and travel around Madrid on foot. The room was fine and the staff @NH Balboa were friendly and helpful and also professional. We chose to breakfast in different locations in Madrid but would recommend Saona restaurant in the hotel which we had lunch.
