Room 509 was good. Very clean and comfortable bed and sheets. Bathroom small, but nice and clean. Good shower. It was a good size room for 1 person travelling only with carry on. I would think that if I had a bigger luggage or if travelling with someone, the experience would be different, as it would feel very crowded and small. So, for 1 person, as it was for me, it was great, but for 2 would be not as nice. Reception staff was pleasant, but not many advices on what to do. Breakfast was delicious, good options and real fresh juice! Breakfast staff were nice. Great location. Double glazed door in the room. Nice to have a pool, but they should close it later than 6pm on summer!

Only thing I didnt like was one day I had heat stroke and wanted just to have something quick for dinner at the hotel and I sat there for almost 20 min and no one came to serve me, so I had to cross the street to another restaurant. Apart from that, I do recommend this hotel, specially if travelling solo. Also pool closing at 6pm in summer!

The hotel is in a great location. A metro station connecting to the city centre, but the walk is easy as well. The hotel itself is modern, a lovely roof top pool which was nice to cool off in the afternoons. I didn’t have an issue getting a spot in the sun. Breakfast had a great selection with freshly cooked eggs.

Check in and check out could be improved with a few more staff at the busy times. Waited 20 minutes to check in and out just due to the volume of people leaving bags. It can be slightly difficult to access the airport via public transport, with quite a few changes but the journey is manageable.

Shower is very good with consistent hot water. Looks nice & modern with lights & outdoor seating area. Coffee machine is nice touch but more of a tea person.

Pool hours in summer 8-6 not early enough to use before going out and not late enough to use after coming home in eve when sunsets at nearly 10pm. I never got to the pool even though one of the reasons I booked this hotel was to use the pool... alas did not happen. Room is kinda small - as people say if you have medium luggage it won't fit. 2 people large luggage impossible. Slightly cramped to use the room for stuff. Charged me twice for breakfast. I don't know why.. the lady on saw me as a single person? But front desk refunded & they seemed helpful & nice!

A stylish, clean, and well-located hotel — great for a short city stay in Madrid. The room was always cleaned thoroughly by the housekeeping staff — just the way I like it. That really added to the comfort of the stay.

The room had a small rack with shelves, which was helpful but not ideal for longer stays or larger luggage. Overall, the room was a bit smaller than expected with limited storage space. The in-room coffee machine was a nice touch, but a few more hooks or shelves would have been useful. The rooftop pool was very tiny — more suited for dipping or relaxing than actual swimming. It felt more like a place to cool off briefly rather than a pool for exercise.

great breakfast: fruits, cheese, hams, hot plates, vegetables, sweets; delicious coffee soundproof shower gel, shampoo, body -lotion water and drinks for free in the fridge 2 delicious coffee pods for free in the room next to the metro station a little pool on the roof

13 m2 room is really small, the wall of the shower's cabin is almost transparent, and it is in the room, not in a seperated bathroom, next to the bed really heavy front door of the room (I think because of the great soundproof, but it was hard to open and close for a women) the keycard of the door went wrong two times during two days, but they repaired/cahged it quickly and friendly

It is our second time staying in this hotel and might not be the last. This time it was really quick, only for one night, so we did not take advantage of all the hotel has to offer unfortunately like last time. The room was smaller than last time, with view at the internal garden, but we did not mind that as it was only for the night. We would have preferred a larger room in case we were staying for 5-6 nights like last time! The cleanliness standard hasn't changed thankfully! The staff, as always with a smile, and the guy at the bar was lovely.

The check in was horribly slow. We had to wait a painful amount of time that was unacceptable in all honesty. Dressed for December in Madrid, with heat blasting, absolutely tired, and we had to wait for what probably was half an hour... We came in at 6pm, not at the normal time of the check in. It was absurd. Hopefully it was a one time thing :) but as an advice, you should be able to use TWO computers for check in, not just one. right after us the manager brought her laptop to do the check in for some girls behind us but seriously? She couldn't do it before?? When the reception clearly has two computers anyway.

Center was walking distance and good metro connection. Rooftop pool is small but great to have, including the views and drinks there. Nice breakfast terrace outdoors! Staff was great to listen and take us serious, when we had to miss a pool opportunity, due to a private event there. They went above and beyond to make sure we have an enjoyable stay.

The hotel seems to rent to pool area for private events, which is when hotel guests have no pool access. A pity, if this is what you chose the hotel for. And we struggled a bit with the large and rather firm pillows. This is subjective of course, but would be great to have had a choice of pillows.

There is a lot I liked: First of all, the whole staff is very friendly and helpful! My first impression of the very modern (in a good way) looking hotel was that the employees at the reception were very friendly and very helpful giving all important information about the city etc. You feel not treated like a number, but like a person during the whole stay. That is very seldom nowadays & very precious, especially when you travel without company. So I can recommend this hotel also very much for single persons. The room was very clean, and the cleaning worker did an excellent job! They cleaned daily very well. There were enough clean towels, too. The room was nice, with a small refrigerator, a safe, in which also a laptop could be placed, and a coffee machine. They also provided enough coffee capsules with good coffee. After the very good impression at the reception, the next positive surprise was a handwritten message in the room welcoming you personally, leaning against a bottle of Spanish white wine as a welcome present. That was a very personal, nice gesture! The room had a big glass window & a French window to a very small balcony looking over a smaller street and an impressing historical building opposite to the hotel, a ministerio. Calle de San Bernardo is a smaller street with interesting lovely shops, smaller supermarkets around (some open for 24 hours) and not a lot of traffic. When the French window was closed, it was very calm and one could sleep very well. The beds were comfortable. Exceptionally good was the breakfast, available until 11 a.m. during the week in a nice restaurant at the ground floor. They offered a lot of fresh fruits, cereals, nuts, bread, cheese, slice cold meats, also lactose-free products, vegetables. One could order one warm breakfast from the menu, which was freshly prepared like scrumled eggs. I loved the little pool at the rooftop, water temperature: 25 °C, great view. Surroundings: safe, 5 min. to Gran Via.

I would recommend to offer some soap for handwashing inside the toilet instead of the shower gel. The shampoo and conditioner inside the separate shower should be replaced by other products, for example by natural products with plant extracts or s.th. typically Spanish.

Conveniently located at the heart of Madrid with access to all major attractions and entertainment. The property has a hipster and artistic vibe which makes it so unique! I love the LGBTQ themes and the support the hotel shows towards inclusivity. The staff were mostly pleasant and happy to interact especially at the breakfast and bar area. Loves the swimming pool at the roof top.

1. Would love a bar up the pool, I appreciate it may be the beginning of the season but what a great opportunity to bring the roof to life! 2. Room was efficient but could do better with a bit more space. 3. Pillows were quite bubbly and firm 4. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the en-suite shower cabin

Location was extremely convenient, the room was very comfortable and quiet considering it was overlooking a busy road. The rooftop was lovely and the pool, though narrow, is long enough to get a relaxing quick swim (when not busy).

I would recommend longer hours for the swimming pool (closes at 1800) at least in the summer. Also the rooftop was often rented out for private functions, so it wasn't always available in the evening. A little fridge would also be useful as the cooler didn't keep things very cool.
