The property was beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean and spacious. All the necessary amenities to get started were provided: dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, cleaning towels, body wash and shampoo.

Some minor inconveniences - if addressed would make the property perfect. It would be super helpful to have a long/tall dressing mirror. There are mirrors above the sinks but you cannot see your entire outfit. Secondly towel hooks in the hallway shower. His shower has an awkward design but is usable, however there are no hooks to hang towel or clothes.

We’ve stayed in Madrid many times, but our experience at Eric Vökel Madrid Suites was truly exceptional! The front desk staff—especially Ruslana—was warm, kind, and wonderfully hospitable. She went above and beyond by accommodating our early arrival, arranging a late check-out, and kindly storing our luggage. She was also incredibly sweet with our children, which made our stay feel even more special. The suite itself was perfect: comfortable beds, well-equipped amenities, and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially appreciated the cool air conditioning and the convenience of the in-suite washer/dryer. Don’t hesitate to book—and if you can, ask for Ruslana. She will take excellent care of you!

Apartment has a potential to be excellent had it not been for these few not so critical points: bathroom fixture needs an upgrade ( difficult to direct shower handle because of loose holder & it’s too high up), sink is weirdly designed, placed way high up not suitable for short to average - height individuals , bed in second room with poor support, need better lighting, lack of full length mirror.

Brilliant city centre location in a vibrant neighbourhood, with loads of bars and eateries nearby. Walkable to Gran Via and big plazas for sightseeing and shopping. Lovely accommodation and decent kitchen for self catering. Perfect for a family. We loved it! Only small downside was nothing to do with the apartment but the road outside is quite busy, so if you want total silence at nighttime then you would prefer to sleep in the back bedroom. But as it’s so well located this is not an issue for us.

Everything was fine except when the fire alarm went off. Apparently it was accidentally set off but ourselves and other guests found it difficult to contact anyone from the property to alert them and nobody came for approximately 2 hours, during which time we didn’t actually know whether the fire threat was real or not and the “emergency” number didn’t provide a contact.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It was extremely well located, in an interesting area not right in the city centre, but close enough to walk there (and to most places of interest). It was also very close to a Metro station. Staff at reception were helpful and we appreciated being allowed to check in very early (after our flight arrived).

Not a major issue, but if you intend to use the oven get an explanation on arrival. We couldn’t work it out and the staff member who we asked to explain it to us the next morning also struggled through a (very friendly) process of trial and error before arriving at the correct method.

The apartments have a reception on the ground floor which is a real bonus. Staff were super friendly and helpful, we arrived very early in the day off a long flight and got into the apartment straight from the airport, the staff were very helpful to accommodate an early check-in! That definitely made our day! A lot of sights are walkable, Prado is about 30 minutes at a casual pace, and plenty of restaurants and mini-markets in the area. Access is easy, the apartment was well furnished, comfortable and clean.

I loved everything! The front desk staff was kind, friendly, and always available to help. The apartment itself was beautiful – very clean, modern, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was spacious and relaxing, and the apartment smelled amazing. The location is excellent – very close to Gran Vía and the city center. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return on my next visit to Madrid!

The Staff were so nice and helpful. We weren’t expecting anyone on duty in the evening but were lucky enough to have Aritz . Such a helpful, kind and friendly young man. For two older ladies this was really helpful. Also being fussy women it was lovely to have such a clean apartment.

You are so close to so many great city sights you have to expect a little street noise, dustbin collection etc. It’s so worth it!!! The view is from the balcony, before the city wakes up.

When you enter the apartment, you can tell the entire building has gone through an extensive renovation, the kitchen & bathrooms are so new and being looked after well! The location was central enough, walking distance to many amenities. Bedsheets & towels were very clean, mark-free and the kitchen came with a small “cleaning kit” which we found very cute & thoughtful. The rooftop terrace gave a nice understanding of the architecture and the vibe of the neighbourhood.

We found the bathroom a little bit too dark, perhaps more lighting. The shower cubicle was away from the working spotlight so it felt dark when taking a shower. Also I think it would be good to fit a full-size mirror as it’s much needed to get ready.
