The location is excellent, and the staff is kind and always ready to assist.

The Hostal is essentially a set of rooms located on the fourth floor of the building. There is no sound isolation between the rooms, making it easy to hear running water, noises from neighboring rooms, and even the doorbell each time someone enters the hostal—even during the night. This lack of privacy was quite noticeable. Given these conditions, the price seemed relatively high for the level of accommodation provided.

We needed boiled water or a kettle to drink tea in the room in the morning and evening. But it was impossible. Many small hotels provide cups and a kettle. We recommend buying them.

Just five minutes walk to Gran Via metro, at Plaza Pedro Zerolo, the location is a perfect base to get around Madrid. On the 4th floor with windows/narrow balcony overlooking the plaza which can get a bit lively into the small hours of the morning so earplugs are a must! Staff are really friendly and there is a vending machine in the reception. Small reliable lift so push chair/wheelchair accessible. Rooms are compact, cleaned daily and beds were really comfortable. Shower has good water pressure and hot water but bathroom is really small so if you have long legs you may have to sit side saddle on the toilet!

Wifi signal was weak most of the time we were there, if we could get it at all, but when we asked, the staff would reboot it for us. Be aware of pickpockets/thieves operating around the plaza if you sit at any of the outside tables. My son had his phone stolen and the staff at Sultan Palast where we were eating, were of no help at all. Luckily some local customers tried to help us but we didn’t get his phone back.

Excellent Hotel in the heart of Madrid city.,cheap and cheerful,but excellent quality. Clean,tidy and comfortable rooms. Very very comfortable bed,and shower and bathroom facilities ware perfect. But most of all,what makes this hotel so good is the staff,all so polite friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel,and personally speaking I will definitely be returning next time I visit Madrid.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location. The room was small, but ok for 2-night stay.

It was very, very hot. The air conditioning wasn't available. Also, it was loud (you can hear other people in other rooms, people coming to the hostal because of the doorbell, people from other rooms and floors because of the inner patio. If you're very sensitive while you sleep, it might be a problem.

The location is close to Gran via. Next to the hotel, there is a comercial street with all types of shops. The room is very tidy and clean. It is small but caintains everything that I need. The reception is really nice. I think it is a good of value in general.

The window cannot be open. There are two taps on the sink. One is for hot water, and the other one is for cold water. I don't understand this design to be honest.

Location was great its in the city center! Walking distance to most tourist attractions,bar and restaurant! the room is big and clean with a balcony with the view of Pedro Zerolo mini park😍 Senior Manuel the receptionist is very welcoming,helpful and always greet us with a big smile on his face! Worth the stay we will definitely come back! Highly recommended 💯%👌

Excellent location, right next to the gran via, subway stations and a whole lot of bars and restaurants. Comfortable bed and warm room.

Quite noisy, we could hear conversations in other rooms through the walls and also noise from the heater which was just outside of our room. Nothing that would prevent us from sleeping but it did bother us a bit while trying to fall asleep.

The property is a 5min walk from the Gran Via station so is quite centrally located and is also overlooking a square - so there's plenty of action happening outside. The property is also a 5-10min walk from the metro station that leads to the airport. Jose, the person at the reception was very friendly and was always available to help.

Room is a bit small - but that's typical of any European capital in this category
