This was a great place to stay for my early morning train to Leon! Chamartin station is literally across the street. However, the hotel is quiet, very pleasant and felt safe after dark. The friendly 24hour front desk was helpful for my early morning departure and they provided a good takeaway breakfast. The building is a bit dated but the room and bathroom were big, I slept well. Just a short walk to Paseo Castellana restaurants and attractions. There is a pleasant cafe on the ground floor. Tip - look for the elevator behind the steep stairs at the front entrance instead of struggling up to the front door with luggage from the street like I did!

Nothing, all good thanks!

Conveniently located just outside Chamartin under-construction railway station. Rooms were really spacious and clean. We really loved the huge pool which made the unbearable heat during our stay much nicer. Breakfast options were plentiful, with both churros and porras available. Several pre-cut fruits, delicious, were available every single day.

Hotel building could benefit from better signage, as it is located in a tiny side street. Decor is outdated and flooring could use an upgrade, with several floorboards sticking out at the corners. Nothing serious, but worth mentioning. The hot milk and chocolate from the machine in the breakfast room were a bit meh. Jugs with hot milk would probably allow for better quality stuff. Una lástima no poderme llevar ese piscinón en la maleta, jaja.

I had a delightful stay at Hotel Madrid Chamartín, Affiliated by Meliá. The hotel's proximity to Chamartín Station made traveling around Madrid incredibly convenient, with easy access to metro, Cercanías, and AVE trains. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a day of sightseeing. The bed was particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel.

While the hotel offers many amenities, some areas could benefit from modernization to match the overall quality of service. Additionally, during peak times, the elevators were a bit slow, which was a minor inconvenience.

The location is just across from the Chamartín train station which was an easy walk over with luggage and kids (if you have a lot of baggage you’ll walk a bit further to take the escalators.) We paid for included breakfast and it was well worth it. It couldn’t have been lovelier. My husband and I are on high protein diets and had an easy time, they had the fixings for mimosas, different juices, high quality coffee, hot foods and a large selection of pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and our children’s favorite a “Nutella-like” pump dispenser with little glass bowls to fill. The pool was large and clean. Our beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. We liked the layout of the family rooms with bunk-beds. Our son got sick, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating.

The air conditioner made noise but did not seem to actually cool the room (901). We didn’t mention it as we were only there for one night and I suspect it’s our American expectations. It was cool enough for Europeans. The dial did go to 0 Celsius but it stopped working around 22 degrees. There is no room service and the dinner in the restaurant does not begin until 8pm (culturally appropriate but inconvenient for us with kids- if you eat earlier know you’ll need other arrangements.) The pool hours were noon-9pm - which is just something to know.

Good location just opposite the old side of the Chamartin Madrid station. If you exit to the taxi area you are not on the correct side. Great breakfast, one of the best we've had. Decent size pool to cool off . It's a quick and easy train ride to Atocha so you should expect to do this for the museums etc and eat in town as we did not find a huge range of restaurants worth going to. Largely residential ,I think. Overall good value as main ( Atocha/ Retiro) area can be expensive.

We were there on a weekend and the lunch menu was limited and disappointing. Plus no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. 'The' complimentary bottle of water was great but there were two of us ....(?)

Room was spacious, had a quiet view facing the pool. Location was just across the Chamartin Station, and has several bars and restaurants around the area. I liked that it was 3 mins away from a Catholic Church since I came on a weekend. There was also a Mercadona nearby, but closed on Sundays. The breakfast was good - and wish the coffee beans were a bit more balanced - as the machine made it aguado and would not balance well with the milk. Otherwise, the selection was quite good. Though I had not intended to use it, the pool was out of service - which sparked a few complaints at the check in counter. The staff are very helpful even as I checked in late. Upon check out, it was clear that they were serious about keeping left luggage under lock and key. Very reassuring.

I failed to account for the fact that I was coming in on a weekend, hence the typically high Madrid room rates - which was a little much for an overnight stay. It was close to the station, but rolling your luggage up the driveway maybe difficult if you have heavy bags as the roads are pavement are being rebuilt (not the hotel's fault :) ). Good thing they have a lower ground access by elevator. It is also a few hundred meters away from the hub of the other bars, restaurants and convenience stores on the main Calle Agustin de Foxa

Our room located on the 10th floor of the building. Great view of the fourth towers and the mountains. Our room was large, clean and the mattresses were comfortable. The hotel is located in front of Chamartin Station with 2 metros going straight to Plaza de Espana or Sol in 20min. The complimentary breakfast/buffet is complete with a large choice of sweet and salty options. Public Parking below the hotel with direct access (41€ 3 days)

Being on the 10th floor means that you have to wait some time to catch an elevator when it's busy. No kettle in the room.

The hotel is ideally located if you arrive or depart from Madrid Chamartín station. It is only a few minutes' walk away. The neighborhood looks much better and safer compared to other neighborhoods near big train stations in major cities. The staff is polite, especially the girl at the reception; I think her name is Isabela. The room, including the bathroom, is spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities, although a bit outdated. The pool is big. The metro station is fairly close. The vending machine with electronic items is a good addition to the lobby.

I'm not nit-picky and find food good in most 3-star hotels, but that was not the case here. The buffet breakfast was included, and I paid extra for the buffet lunch. The price is reasonable, and the variety is fantastic. But I was shocked at how tasteless (almost) everything was. The ingredients are top-notch, but the food is lukewarm and without any flavor. I tried almost everything on offer because I couldn't believe so many good ingredients were wasted. The hotel obviously doesn't skimp on ingredients and variety, but something is wrong with the food preparation. Desserts, pastries, jamon, and chorizo are nice, but I guess those types of food can't be ruined.

The staff (reception, restaurant) is really helpful and solve issues quickly. Cleaning staff really kind and supportive including their manager. Breakfast and lunch buffet were also good with a variety of dishes. Very good location next to a main train station.

First room was a bit warm and the cool system is not activated. The floor was not polished which doesn’t provide a nice appearance. Fortunately, they moved me for the last two nights to another much more pleasant. As it was a Christmas holiday on the 8 it was a bit noisy. Guests tend to forget that must be quiet after 10 pm. Nonetheless, the reception staff helped in both situations. It was also a long line to access the restaurant as the capacity of it is limited for the amount of guests when is busy time. Same with lifts.

the hotel is extremely close to the Chamartin station (where you can take a bus, Metro, Cercanías or AVE): just a 5-6 minutes walk... which enables you to get into the city center in around 25 minutes and avoid the very expensive hotels that are in the city center. The restaurant was good.

I still found the hotel a bit pricey (of course not as expensive as in the city center). The elevators were small and scarce, so I ended up having to use the stairs (which technically is healthier).
