The apartment was amazing. It is newly renovated with all the necessary equipment you will need for a pleasant stay. It even has a Nespresso machine. You can enjoy your coffee in the morning or wine in the evening at the magnificent terrace overlooking this part of Madrid. The apartment is situated 10 minutes walk from Plaza de España and Palacio Real de Madrid. In less than 5 minutes walk there is a metro station.

The organization of the process of renting the place. First you have to pay the price, then you have to pay a security deposit. If you don’t pay it, you don’t get the keys. If you pay it and someone forgot to check it, you don’t get the keys. The check in is after 15:00, and the check out is at 11:00 latest, but the woman for the cleaning came at 10:00. The same woman has forgotten that the apartment was rented, so she hasn’t finished cleaning it, when we arrived, so we had to wait at the stairs for her to finish. The phone listed in Booking is answered selectively and you speak with different person every time.

4 persons stay: We had 2 bathrooms wich was super convenient. The beds were comfy and the apartment was clean and cosy. The location is so great. You get to the metro in under 5 minutes. There are 2 grocery stores right across the street. Nice restaurants in walking distance. The staff was so nice to let us leave our luggage at their other place/hotel until our apartment was ready (we came earlier).

A second dishwashing tab would have been nice, but only because we stayed 5 nights. Other than that there was nothing to critique :)

Space, bedrooms, air con, location.

Check in was a bit frustrating. The room should have been ready from 3pm but upon our arrival at 3.30 I had to phone someone as nobody had sent me check in details despite being told this would happen. I was then told that the property wouldn’t be ready for another 30 mins. We were able to leave our luggage in the property while we walked to a nearby hotel which manages the apartment. Not great when it’s 40C either! Once we got the keys we found the lock to our front door to be fiddly (very loose). A shame as the actual apartment is great and well-located. Please repair the door hanging off the front of the washing machine. It looks bad!

The location of this set of apartments is great, two minutes to the nearest metro station on Line 4 and a short walk to the main hotel if you need anything. Staff in the main hotel were excellent and it was no trouble to leave our luggage there and head off into Madrid before our apartment became available later in the day.

The busines of opening the outer door and the apartment door with a code requires you to have a mobile that doesn't need wifi so this place wouldn't be ideal for travellers who are grumpy about technology. Seems to me that a key was a pretty good invention and doesn't really need replacing with an app....... Also, a couple of bottles of water in the room would have been nice, especially in the summer.

The owner and management company overlooked no attention to detail. Everything about this vacation rental was carefully thought out. The entry into both the building and the apartment, all by smartphone. No hassle with keys or codes. The apartment is so large, beautifully decorated with nice touches we found in no other rentals we had been in on our many weeks vacation. Extra pillows, towels, lovely toiletries in the bathrooms. Towel bars and hooks everywhere to hang things. It was so homey and comfortable. In a great location and what a value! I am recommending them to all my friends and family who travel.

The apartment was perfect but there were drainage issues in the baths which we reported after our one night stay.

Good location in Madrid, close to Gran Via. Good selection of bars and restaurants close by. Clean entrance way halls and and lift. Apartment in good condition overall. The Staff at the partner Akeah hotel was welcoming and helpful.

Only some small details :- Enjoyed the little terrace but it would have been better if it had been large enough to have accommodated even just a couple of chairs. The safe was not secured to anything and, although it was heavy, it would have been simple to remove from the property. I found it really strange that it was not secured. The securing bracket for the fire extinguisher had been knocked off the wall some time previously and was lying in a little pile of plaster presumably waiting on repair.

We are were 3 people - 2 adults and our adult daughter. We liked that it was clean, well located to coffee shops, groceries, subway stations. Walkable to many points of interests. The 2 bedroom/2bath is great. The web link unlocking of the main door and the apartment was very convenient. Make sure you have a data package on your phone to access the email and messages.

The pillows are too soft. The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on. It's probably a good sofa bed, very firm. The apartment can sleep six but you can't really fit six people around the ktichen table. it would be tight for 6 adults. One bathroom had a sewer odor that we could not ventilate. It may have been coming from the shower drain. The negative points didn't affect our enjoyment of Madrid since we only used the apartment to sleep and shower. We were out every day.

Fantastic location for exploring Madrid - great transport options only a few minutes walk from the apartment. You can check in 48 hours prior to arrival via an email link. On arrival, I received a WhatsApp message detailing how to unlock the main door to the building and the apartment via a link. This keyless entry option was great so we could all have a key. The apartment was spotless, bright, spacious - it looked newly renovated. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were really clean with proper shower pressure. There’s an elevator in the building. When we checked out, we stored our luggage at the hotel only a few minutes walk from the apartment.

You can hear the neighbours if they’re noisy (muffled). It wasn’t an issue for us as we live in London and used to paper thin walls.

The apartment was in a perfect location and very well appointed. It was very clean and comfortable. Having the second bathroom was wonderful with my son staying with us. There are two shops across the street to get some groceries. The breakfast was at a location just down the block from the apartment. It had a lovely selection of self serve options (yogurt, cereal, meats and cheeses, breads, coffee and juices) and then you could order something hot from the gentleman managing the place.

The key code was hard to figure out at first but we got it eventually. It is unlocked from a smartphone so you do have to have a phone that you can use for access into the building and the unit.

It's a very nice apartment, complete with all the accessories and amenities, the little courtesy bag with cleaning stuff was very useful for a short stay.

The only issue we had was that it was too hot (the heating thermostat was set too high). When we called to ask how to lower the temperature we were given the wrong answer. It took us a couple of days to find where one could control the radiator temp. But other than that it was a great apartment, everything worked properly. The price was ok assuming the uniit can host 4-6 people comfortably.
