Everyone was very friendly. everyone was very courteous. the hotel itself was lovely and clean. Breakfast was excellent, great choice all round, complimentary champagne if you wanted it! poolside was nice offering a great view of Mahon harbour and out to sea. Location was good, right by the harbour ( down and up a large set of steps) but town was a good twenty minute walk. there is a bus stop outside but didn't know what times, or bus number was served by it. I guess I could have asked. Plenty of restaurants within a short walk, down the steps, but maybe it was out of season but could never gauge when they would open, some days they were, some lunchtime no, some opened one day a week! it was very confusing!!

I couldn't work the TV, too advanced for me, I just wanted to watch it not programme it!

Location was excellent, I upgraded my room ( which made the overall price poor value ) because the standard room was ‘ standard , but I wanted to enjoy my break ! The staff were very good and helpful, particularly the reception staff.

The hotel just missed all the small details, it looked a bit unloved . The breakfast was a joke, well below average for a 4 star hotel, it finished at 10am ( not 10.05am ,10am on the dot )tables weren’t cleared, you had to do it yourself, there was no leadership evident. Coffee machines didn’t work, everything ran out etc.

The location was excellent with beautiful views over the sea. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was great, absolutely fine for what we needed.

The pool area was really clean and tidy but just a bit outdated, without many shady areas to sit. The only criticism of the breakfast was that the scrambled eggs weren't made with fresh eggs, but we could get freshly poached eggs that were great, and that the english breakfast tea was very very weak. There was also an issue with the air conditioning not working, but we were supplied with a fan and that helped a lot.

Great location, a stone’s throw from lovely Mahón. Lots of nice space at the back of the hotel to chill and relax. Pool not huge but big enough and sunbeds available throughout the day. Breakfast well stocked and presenter, staff generally very polite and keen to help.

Was in a twin room and the beds weren’t that comfortable and mattresses kept slipping off the bed which wasn’t ideal. Chef at the omelette stand was rather surly which was a shame. Hotel a little dated in places like reception and the actual bar and would benefit from some investment.

On the first day of our stay my husband broke his leg very badly while we were at a wedding ceremony. I could not find him after the ceremony as he had collapsed in a public toilet. I went back to the hotel where they rang the hospitals and the police. Ernestina - the manager then drove me back to the market place. I ended up having to care for a totally immobile patient in the hotel for 6 days. The staff could not have been more helpful or caring. Ernestina is a major asset to the hotel as are Sylvia and Tony.

In the circumstances nothing.

Everything was amazing. From the begining staff welcomed in a very natural nice way. Breakfast was splendid, variety of everything that I even had a mental conflict on what to eat or what not to eat. The room was so nice. The only thing is that it was ready a bit late but that was not a problem as we left everything in another big room for the lugages. Staff were very helpful with everything we needed it. The swimming pool was big, clean and the caring of the grass was fantastic. Hotel resemble a British military grad quarter of 18th century, so elegant and well decorated. Also not to forget the terrace of the room which faces a communal square that leads to the swimming pool.Right in front of the beach with amazing views of Mahón port bay which could also be enjoyed from the terrace of the bar.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Being so close to the harbour was great and being within walking distance of the main part of town was great. Breakfast were good and the swimming pool is very nice

The food in the hotel is ok. Breakfast were good but I wouldn't recommend staying in the hotel for dinner. There are too many great restaurants on the waterfront.

reception lady outstanding she sorted our lovely junior suite as we were with the Ramblers Worldwide for the 1st week aand we had booked the 2nd and had a junior suite booked so we had the same lovely room for both weeks. Food very good-great man doing the breakfast eggs!

One minor moan-the shower had a small leak which let water onto the bathroom floor.We mopped it up with the floor shower mat after our showers.

My son’s flight was cancelled last minute near midnight, I booked a room through booking.com as it mention 24/7 reception. Called from UK and spoke to reception and asked to check if booking had gone through. Reception confirmed booking and son made way to hotel. Although he only spent 7.5hrs at hotel I was so grateful he managed to get somewhere to stay…breakfast included which was a bonus!

Nothing to complain about just a shame my son didn’t get longer to enjoy the facilities!

We had a lovely comfortable room, with a dual aspect and balcony. The bathroom was a lovely size and the shower was fabulous. We really liked the green toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of choice of hot and cold options. I also liked that the emphasis was on locally produced products. There was no excess packaging for butter or yogurt pots. The hotel location was lovely with a wonderful view of the Port of Mahon and in easy walking distance of the port And old town. I am sure we will be back to visit Menorca again.
