Great location for exploring the area on foot - not a high up as some of the hotels so no steep steps to climb (just a bit of a hill via the pavement). Very close to the main coach stop. The apartments are quite basic but have everything you need. The terraces are enormous which we really appreciated, so it's comfortable to sunbath there in privacy if you prefer it to around the pool.

The pool is small but fine - however it's in shade most of the day because of the high fence at the front of the property. We didn't think it was very necessary for privacy: you can see into lots of the hotel pools areas as you walk around the area, and if it's a choice of having a screen or a sunny poolside area, I think the latter argument wins the day.

Excellent apartments, well laid out in a great location not far from the Commercial centre, Bus Station and beach. Very little noise heard from centre below. The well equipped apartments have all you need for a comfortable stay, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave and 2 ring hob with ample pots, frying pan, plates, cups cutlery and glasses of all kinds. Carmelo the manager met us at the entrance and was very helpful during our stay if we needed him, cleaning staff were very thorough and respectful whilst doing their job. We had a fabulous apartment with a terrace on the ground floor (105) and had access directly to the pool and sun most of the day. Apartments are very modern and have WiFi, flat screen TV and air conditioning as standard which is great for longer stays (we stayed 11 days) Beds are very comfortable with good pillows and plenty of storage in bedroom. There is a mini market inside the foyer which is quite well equipped, great for heavy items such as water, large bottles of drinks etc, saves carrying from supermarket. There is a Hiperdino just up the road if needed, well stocked. There's a billiard table in the foyer too if you want to relax inside, we met some lovely people whilst chilling there! The complex is a small family run business. Absolutely top marks for Carmelo. He is friendly, helpful, and has the best communication. Any queries answered very promptly. The apartment is cosy and spotless. Good shower and comfortable beds. The balcony is a good size with sun loungers and a table and chairs. Very cute Courtyard. Water and some other item's in reception which is great. Perfect location right between the beach and centre. Would definitely come back.

Carmelo, was excellent and always very helpful. We had asked , if possible, to check in early. Carmelo emailed to say if there was an early checkout he would do what he could. Thankfully for us, he was able to have a room available. Location was perfect. A short walk from the bus station, however an uphill slope which was a challenging enough. A small complex which was perfect for us . A supermarket a short walk away and also essentials available on site. Beach less than a ten minute walk.

The pool was quite deep and you couldn't stand up. Sometimes it was difficult to get a sun bed in the sun as the area was quite limited . But we had a large terrace from our room with sunbeds, which was perfect.

These are nice apartments about a ten minute walk from the beach of Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. They are also very central for bus stop, shopping centres etc. Our apartment was large and comfortable.

Unfortunately our apartment was a corner one located beside a high stone wall. So from 11.30 am we had no sun or light. We actually had a lovely terrace but with the absence of sun and light it wasn’t great for sitting out on. Twice we requested a change to an upstairs apartment but none was available. For a winter sun holiday, we’d have liked sunshine. Perhaps in the main Summer season guests would like this terrace, to keep out of the sun!

Great location, excellent friendly staff, especially Carmelo,air con was much needed, beautiful quiet spot for a relaxing holiday.Very well appointed apartment, everything you needed was there, spacious balcony with sunbeds ,sun all day.Very little noise from the centre but yet close enough still to walk to.Will definitely return.

This is the second time I have visited these apartments this time I stayed on ground floor facing pool perfect morning view. The staff are so friendly and welcoming again free safe hairdryer apartments modern and clean with all appliances you need. The main reason I love these apartments they are so peaceful no noise from the main centre and in the apartments themselves. You are just behind the bus station so perfect for main centre and beach. The price is so cheap for the apartments plus that bonus of air conditioning I cannot beat it anywhere.

Very good location. Close to the local beach and the shopping center where you can find plenty of restaurants but its also very quiet at night. Its a nice and small recently renovated apartment complex. The host Carmelo is very friendly and helpful gentleman. Any questions or small issues that we had during our stay were quickly fixed and resolved. The pool is relatively small but the local beach is only few mins away. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Few extra pieces of cutlery and an extra pot/pan would be nice as there's very limited amount of it in the apartment.

The second time I stayed in these apartments, the price and location were excellent. The location is great, 10 minutes from the beach, shops and cafes. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen area is spacious. I especially liked the cleaner, who came to change towels and clean the rooms almost every day, and even make the beds like a real "mom" :) Thank you for everything and I hope to return to Monteverde apartaments next year!

Second stay here and just as perfect as the first time! Carmelo is a fantastic host, his communication is quick, friendly and nothing is too much hassle for him. The apartments are very clean, air con included and fantastic balconies with plenty of room for sunbathing and dining. The complex is quiet, with a well kept and cool pool. The location of the apartments is also very good, 2 mins from the bus station, less than 10 to the commercial centre and just over 10 to the harbour. Such good value for money and we will definitely back again! Thanks for another top stay Carmelo 😊
