Near the motorway so easy to access all the sites around. But we didn't hear any noise from motorway. Room was small and a little bit old as well as shower. Bed was very comfy as well as pillows. Staff is helpful. Breakfast was ordinary but enough as for 6€/person and it was better than in some more expensive places. They have nice garden full of lots of different fruits. Cosy pool but small. We got great dinner last evening - the restaurant really suprised us as the food was great and not expensive

Poorly working air conditioning. The balcony was very very small with a view to a parking. Shower was uncomfortable

Lovely friendly reception, even though we were a bit early they went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was a really good size, so spacious and comfortable with a generous fridge and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space. Lovely big bathroom and everything was spotless. There was a great choice of buffet breakfast; the restaurant was good, we also had a good evening meal there. and the bar/cafe stayed open all day for coffee, drinks and snacks. Staff were helpful and polite and didn't even mind my poor attempts to speak Spanish! Fabulous location for the Nerja caves as they are within walking distance. A huge bonus was the free car park.

It was quite close to the main road which didn't really bother us for this short stay, but some might not like it.

I liked everything, it was a wonderful experience and stay at the Hotel Al Andalus, the room is a paradise, in which there were 2 televisions, one in the bedroom and another smaller one that was in a small living room where apart from the television there was also a refrigerator and very good views... So I encourage people that if they pass through Nerja, they stop by the Wonderful Hotel Al Andalus

Easy to find - free parking right outside. Comfortable room with a view of the Sea. Short taxi ride to Nerja. Decent breakfast. Very good value.

The shower head had to be held - so water sprayed on floor a bit. Busy road 200m away so some noise, but hardly noticeable at night. Fridge, but no tea or coffee making facilities.

Great location for hill/mountain walks and maro playas nerja cuevas and bus are 100m away ,rooms are a bit rustic but it fits the location ,balcony had no view but lovely late November sun , amazing views of med from side of hotel by swimming pool , staff very helpful I went walking the following day and they stored my backpack securely ,really good choice at breakfast

Internet only for smartphones , I could only go online in reception , apparently its getting sorted imminently , it's very popular with coach tours of older Spanish folk who know how to make noise late into the night

Lovely facilities. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Goid food in the restaurant at night. Breakfast plentiful. Perfect location for my trip.

Be aware that it is out of town. Not a problem for me but could be a issue.

Easy to find, lots of parking space and friendly, welcoming staff. Clean rooms and bathroom with the bonus of a fridge in the room. Nice wine from the bar and tables outside are shaded. Good coffee in the morning. An easy, relaxed stay.

Check in was easy even though we had been very delayed and it was past midnight. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed. Breakfast was good after a really good night's sleep. We would definitely stay here again. The hotel has good free parking and is very easy to find.

We did not try breakfast, but the lunch menu was excellent. The room size was great and we also had a comfy sofa and two televisions. The balcony was nice and had a nice view to the sea.

This property has a welcoming front porch with a burst of colourful flowers. The receptionist Anna was very helpful & prompt in handling our many queries & requests despite limited vocabularies on both our part. She helped us right away with taxi bookings. The room itself was clean with tasteful decor. Having an option to eat Breakfast at the hotel was very convenient before we headed out.

The only real down side was we misunderstood the exact location of the hotel after reading the description on Booking.com which is a bit away from Nerja city center where we intended to stay. We took a cab (7-8 euros) every time we wanted to go to the city as the bus timings were not very convenient.
