the location is excellent, you can go straight from you lounger by the pool to the sea is less than a minute. every morning we went down to the beach in our dressing gowns to take a dip in the sea. The gardens and pool side are really nice and the piano bar is a great place for a pre dinner drink with excellent views of the sea

we were in a beach room, the rooms are a bit tired with paint bubbling off the ceiling and the bathroom and balcony are looking in need of an update

Our stay at Secret’s was nothing but amazing! Every single person was absolutely amazing. From the guest services helping us with check in, our bags, and even a cab into the city for the day we wanted to explore Palms. From Paco in the Seaside grill who made us feel at home and had us trying delicious food that we would never imagine of eating. **Ask for the Mussels** you will not be disappointed. We had them the first night, so much so we went back again for more the next night. We even spent time near the beach, where guest services was sure to make sure we were well taken care of with Sangrias and towels to relax. I hope our paths destine to bring us back to this resort one day. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave.

The only issue was the A/C in the room. We would have like for it to be colder. We survived by keeping our balcony door open all night.

we paid all inclusive , the website claims 6 restaurants. they have one buffet , one a la carte restaurant and two snack places for lunch only. disappointing as the a la carte was also closed two nights so we only had the buffet option 2 out of 5 nights. so ended up eating out one night.

Love the hotel and location . But over priced and some staff around the pool and restaurant area should not be working in such a beautiful hotel . Rude and not friendly at all ! Unfortunately when you pay such a high price for just 4 nights stay you expect the best service , which we didn’t get . We stayed in the room with an outside hot tub , which isn’t a hot tub , it Was empty on arrival and during our stay . It’s just a bath outside ! Not sure why the hotel charge more for this room .

The pool and restaurant staff . Hot tub not useable outside as it was dirty from the leaves and outside dirt . Wasn’t filled or ready to use . The prices are over inflated and extremely high for what you get . Dinner was €59 each if you wanted to dine in there !

Very friendly staff who smiled genuine smiles. Breakfast was unbelievably good and the service was impressive Spa treatments, staff and facilities were very good The character of the hotel was interesting The evening entertainment was fun

The curtains in the room were difficult to close and open The shower leaked and caused a puddle of water on the bathroom floor. We placed towels on the floor to help. There should be an app for guests to see their ongoing balance for their spending, it was difficult to see what was on the staff hand held device when signing. The fridge was not secure in the room furniture and moved when opening.

This was a great hotel. The staff were very helpful, including on check-in. We were shown to our room which was exactly as described with a great sea view. Breakfast was of high quality and variety. There was a variety of choices for meals on-site. We particularly liked the tapas restaurant. The hotel was very convenient for the rest of the resort and the beachfront walkway. The daily room servicing was really good, and the rooms were well equipped and supplies with plenty of refreshments and and bottled water. There was a wide variety of local restaurants and bars.

The bed was not the most comfortable. However we were supplied with feather pillows which helped a lot. The fitness room was well equipped but rather small, and when I was there not well air conditioned. We were rather concerned at a dog being allowed into the breakfast room.

Breakfast was exceptional with so much variety to choose from. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the town and we were able to park our car close by the hotel for free during our stay. The beach is accessible from the hotel via a private gate. The hotel smelled wonderful!

Our air conditioning started playing up on our last night which was slightly annoying I informed reception on checking-out and the receptionist contacted their maintenance colleague to rectify the issue. There had been a series of short power outages in the town during the day and this may have caused the issue.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The facilities are gorgeous with a calm and relaxing ambiance. Despite being next to a crowded beach and next to a walkway, the only sound you could hear was the sound of the waves. The staff is super welcoming and nice, with a special thanks to Maribel and Toni, at the front desk, for their kindness.

Cannot speak from experience, as ours was not in that part of the hotel, but I guess the guests in the rooms above the piano bar terrace, are quite exposed to the sound of the entertainers in the evening.

The location sells this hotel, sat right over the beautiful sandy beach, with access via a private gate. The staff go above and beyond to help you, is it all perfect no.. but no hotel ever is but the staff do there very best to rectify things ( eg some food wasn’t labelled so I told the chef and he apologised and quickly added the label). Esther in reception was amazing, gleaming smile and would always say hello and wave to me as I walks past reception. Always so helpful to answer my many questions. Sorted a taxi for me to the airport and chased it when it was 1 minute late. There is a wonderful feeling of old meets new, with some old Spanish charm and furniture with modern bathrooms. The place is spotless, and push to be sustainable and that is seen not only with towels but in the Buffett restaurant where main food is cooked on demand. This ensures less waste. With choices of steak and lobster all fresh and cooked in front of you to your liking. There isn’t an abundance of choice like some other hotels but it’s not wasted either.. and there is something for everyone. Elena was a member of staff who shone the most with her big smile and attention to detail but also overseeing new staff to ensure they gave the best experience at meal times. Bruce and Sergio were very friendly in the morning at breakfast.. and the view on the veranda having breakfast was superb.. The pool is heated and the breath taking views and well kept gardens are so peaceful, The evening entertainment was of a high quality with Motown to Abba(very funny), but high quality. I didn’t try the speciality restaurants.. but look amazing. You walk out of the hotel and you’re on a road of nice shops and restaurants.. not ‘here we go’ types but some nice boutiques too and staff in shops were friendly. I felt I was treated so well here, as it multi cultural and not dominated by one particular country of origin. Young couples and old, solo travellers, people from all over the world.

The service at the bar by the pool needs sorting out, not enough staff. Those working there are wonderful and food is great.. but slow service. It’s not that disabled friendly outside as the paths are uneven and no handrails near some steps.. saw a few people struggle, but staff would offer to help. Has some things not open or working ‘co co cafe’, milkshake machine. One of the main gripes was hearing other people who said it wasn’t of the same standard as other secrets resorts ..I’ve not been to any ti compare.

Our room overlooked the dumping flag round and the bottle bin store at the front . Not what you’d expect from a 5 star hotel . Really needs addressing. Only an issue in the furthest 5 or 6 rooms
