Staff were wonderful. Bed was extremely comfortable. Balcony view and size was nice. Everything nice size, bathroom spacious.Great that each bed in my twin room had a different sized/shaped pillow so i could choose which I found more comfortable. Great location, close to public transport and 2 mercadona shops, restaurants, hairdressers, touristy shops... all 10minute walk away maximum. The pool was comfortable, warm with music and nice drinks and staff at the bar. Multiple beaches also nearby.

The balcony door doesn't lock, kitchen facilities like kettle and toaster can't reach the plug socket unless you put them on the floor elsewhere in the room, on the electric stove (major fire hazard!!) or move a table to the kitchen plug socket (which is what i did) which you'd then have to move again if you wanted to use the stove.... so a couple of safety issues there. Other guests are so loud and noisy during the "quiet hours" every night... so much sleep lost to people shouting in the corridors. Not the hotel's fault but maybe there could be more of a crackdown on this so respectful guests can sleep.

Food and drinks are good by the pool, table tennis and pool tables near by too, pool was always clean and quiet- always sunbeds, room was perfect for 6 of us staying together. Staff behind reception really helpful and friends too aswell as bar staff.

The location is a little far from the main strip if you’re on a party holiday, the lifeguard will wonder about and barely be by the pool, let’s groups play flight, Throw things around but as soon as a ball is in the pool he will be straight on you telling you to get it out.

Perfectly located between Los Cristianos & Playa de las Américas which meant we could choose where to walk to each evening. Close to Vista Sur commercial centre so everything nearby which you needed. Good lunch time food at the pool bar. Choice of 2 pools was great for the kids section & the adults section. Lovely balcony views over the pool.

No on site bar in the evening. Not a massive issue given everything is close by but sometimes just for an evening by the pool bar in the comfort of the hotel would be nice. Fans in the rooms didn’t really provide any air con, was still very hot at night time.

South facing balcony overlooking pool. Numerous restaurants within walking distance with beach just 5 minutes away by foot. Centre just a 10 minute walk. Maids service excellent both in cleaning and frequency. Reception always available for information.

Bathroom was a little tired, however, very clean. Needs updating and having Bath removed and shower installed.

The location is brilliant, 15/20 mins safe walk from Playa Las Americas and the beach there. 10 mins walk to another beach. 1/5 minute walk to restaurants and shops. Very friendly, helpful staff always. Always very clean. Pools are lovely. No sunbed wars, plenty of sunloungers and free matresses. Pool bar has good food choices. Safe location. Rooms are very good size and have tv with 4 english channels, kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle and ceiling fan. I've stayed here for 11 years with family, friends and on my own and will continue to stay here.

Could do with air con in the room, can hire a unit for €60 for week. And no happy hour anymore that is a shame. Food stopped being cooked at 3.45pm at pool bar. None of this overally effects stay however, just would be nice to have.

Such a lot to like in marola portosin notably lovely staff, excellent cleaning, spacious studio and balcony,comfortable beds,heated pool with plenty sunbeds and mattresses. Location is very good for shops beach and restaurants. Quiet at night with minimal road noise.

Very little to fault in marola portosin. Bathroom needs updating and lack of air con could be an issue later in year. 10 min walk uphill from beach could be an issue for some.

Location was good, communal areas very clean and food very nice

Sheets and towels in room not changed every visit, in the heat they got quite sweaty and could’ve done with replacing each day. The fan in the living room in 213 barely worked so as you can imagine it got quite hot in there.

Love these clean, comfortable and spacious apartments. Great, friendly staff. Love the quiet pool area. Tommy and the bar staff are fab. Comfortable sunbeds.

Sunbeds were a little squashed together, but not sure how you would resolve this as it ensures there's a bed for everyone

Hotel is quite basic and a little dated but - 1. excellent value for for money, 2. staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, 3. location great - close enough to many bars and restaurants but not so close as to be disturbed by noise, Small supermsts on doorstep and large supermkt 10 mins away 4. Pool area v nice 5. room size very v good

Only down side - no air con - but I believe could hire

I recently stayed at Marola Portosin in Tenerife and had a fantastic experience. The pool was clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. The room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and was regularly cleaned to ensure a comfortable and hygienic environment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always on hand to offer recommendations for things to do in the local area and answer any questions we had. Overall, I would highly recommend Marola Portosin for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Tenerife. The clean pool, well-equipped room, and friendly staff made our stay truly memorable. I can't wait to return in the future!

I have no complaints regarding my stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as it is within walking distance to the main strip as well as the beach and provides a quiet surrounding so you are not going to be bothered at night when trying to sleep.
