A great place to stay if you want a break from Albergues on the Camino. It’s in a great location, right in the old town. The room is perfect - it has air con!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were very kind to me when my cards were stolen and I had trouble withdrawing cash. They made a bad day, a better day! The bar below serves good food for lunch and tapas for dinner. I would highly recommend.

The property is beautiful and has a lovely restaurant. My room was charmingly rustic (stone walls) and modern (AC!) at the same time. The staff was very nice. The room was pretty clean and comfortable, and the best part was I could not hear the neighbors or the noise from the festival below.

THis is a wonderful, quaint, historic pension immediatley adjacent to the Templar Castle and the Cathedral in Ponferrada's old city. We enjoyed our stay, including the food at the restaurant. It was a quiet and comfortable stay just steps from nearby attractions. There is a grocery store about 5 minute walk away as well.

It was very centrally located across from the Castle an we had a great view. There is a bar downstairs where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner or tapas which is very handy if you don't want to go far. Located near a square that has many food and shopping options.

No Laundry facilities. Staff did not know were the closest laundry facilities were available. Bit odd for a place where pilgrims stay.

I was allowed to check in early and the room comfortable. The restaurant was pretty good - really enjoyed the paella. The staff were very nice.

The bathroom tub faucet leaked constantly and there was a lot of noise on the street at night. It was a bit hard to fall asleep with the dripping noise and the street noise, but I eventually fell asleep and slept really well.

Very cozy traditional bedroom with old stone walls , bathroom was small but ok. Very quiet room. They provided safe storage for our bikes. The location was amazing. Morning staff was friendly

The young staff member at check in didn’t make us feel welcome at all .

From the outside it looked like a regular hostal. When you got inside it was a beautiful old building. Well renovated. The beds were very comfy. The shower was great. The staff were super friendly

The internet was a bit spotty.... dropped out a lot

I LOVED the stone walls and exposed wooden beam in my room. The charming architecture was my favorite part of the stay. Felt very "old world Europe." Location was perfect for travelers wanting to see the historical sites. Very easy access for pilgrims on the Camino.

No complaints. It was more than adequate for a one night stay.

Great Location Reception staff was very helpful in answering my many questions! Nice to have food and beverages in the same place - especially when it was raining!

Noisy during evening/night because of people socializing at the outdoor tables - right below our window.

Right on the Camino. Lovely olde-world feel to the place. Terrific view of the castle and it was great to relax after a day's walking with a glass of wine enjoying the view and watching people go by!
