The food was exceptional, the breakfast buffet had so many good options! At the pool you can order delicious dishes and the evening buffet was also super good. The staff is really friendly especially Abi who greeted us every morning at breakfast. The pool was also really beautiful and the day beds were really comfortable. The room we stayed in was really big and was very clean. The cleaning staff did a really good job! There are 3 different types of pillows in the room to choose from to sleep with, which was a great surprise. We also received a bottle of wine and some snacks in the room and bottled water. The staff at this hotel really goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Nothing, we were really happy and had a great time! Would definitely come back if I get the chance. I do want to warn people that there is a DJ at the large pool and the music can get a bit loud in the afternoon (also if you sit on your balcony), but there is a second quiet pool that you can go to if you want to read or sleep.

Staying at Astoria Playa Hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations, it was simply fantastic. Let me give some details: First,the food: breakfast and dinner were absolutely amazing: huge variety of choice, even if you are vegetarian/vegan. Quality was generally fantastic. There were always a lot of seafood, veggies, sides, desserts, fresh fruits, cheese (chocolate fondu) and a great selection of tiny prepared dishes, also there was a typical mallorquin part. Their astoria egg in a bum is just the best breakfast choice :) Big selection of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, all kinds of milks.. Staff was very kind, attentive and smiling: special thanks goes to Joan Miguel for caring for us so nicely, always having a kind word to us, giving us tips about where to go, where to eat and advising us to book a car through the hotel: I've never experienced such a smooth renting process: the hotel staff booked the car for us and next day the company delivered the car to the hotel, the staff waiting for us in the lobby with the contract (we even did a slight change in the rental period that they kindly solved immediately). Thanks also goes to (the other) Miguel for his great humour and help and kudos to the kitchen staff and waiters for being so nice,polite, quick and kind. Rooms was bacis but nice, with nice balcony, bed comfortable, storage was sufficient for us also. Hotel provided towels for the pool and beach. Beach is 5 minutes and one of the most beautiful in Europe, what you can dream of: white sandy beach with crystal clear water, shells and a stunning mountain view. Hotel was in a holiday area, full of tiny "supermarkets", hotels, restaurants, car and bike rentals. It is around 40min walk to Alcudia (but you can bike or take a bus also). Hotel is easily reachable from Palma by a direct bus that has a stop some minutes from the hotel. Let us also mention this hotel is a biker-friendly one with lots of biking groups as guests.

We liked everything. I could wish for a cheaper price so that we can come back soon :)

Very nice hotel from cost-value perspective. We really enjoyed the food quality which is comparable to the restaurant level. All staff was polite, positive and attentive. Evening shows were diverse and not annoying. Both swimming pools are well equipped with enough sunbeds and umbrellas.

Our room didn't have a dedicated closet and it was not really enough space for my wife's clothes. Also, I couldn't say that it was a nice decision to separate the toilet and the room with a transparent glass with a really poor noise isolation. And another a bit disappointing thing is absence of a gym.

Very pleasant hotel - definitely "old school " 4 stars:) Perfect for adults seeking quality summer refuge. Meaning great service, personal attention and excellent food. Variety of breakfast and dinner buffet will really satisfy any foodie or gourmet connoisseur. Hotel facilities were perfect for anybody trying to enjoy a holiday or working holiday (yes yes - there was fast internet and quiet work spaces for workoholics too). 2 pools with chill area, DJ and on-site catering. Daily live music concerts for every taste. Safe surroundings and privacy on site. And own bike center, laundry machines and gym. Located in Alcudia center - easy to access all local attractions, easy to get from airport by a32 bus. What else do you need for a perfect holiday?

the fact I stayed just 1 week... ;)

The food was freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients, such as real fresh orange juice. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive, offering genuine personal service. Chairs were pulled out for you so you could sit comfortably, which made you feel truly welcomed. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, with live performances every evening (not always the most professional, but charming and fun). The hotel has two lovely pools and is within walking distance of Alcúdia’s beautiful beach. Guests respected each other’s privacy, which made the stay very pleasant.

Honestly, very little to dislike. After my stay here, I moved to a larger hotel and quickly realised how much I appreciated the atmosphere at Astoria Playa. Bigger chain hotels made me feel more watched, whereas here I felt much more at ease.

Lovely hotel, fantastic pool areas both a quiet one and with another with a DJ which we really enjoyed sitting and having cocktails at. Every member of staff right from walking in were so friendly and helpful, from the young lad who helped us with our bags and gave us some excellent recommendations on places to visit, to the friendly reception team, where nothing was too much trouble and even provided us with a ‘breakfast box’ as we were leaving very early in the morning. The restaurant was immaculate and so proficient with excellent food choices every night. All the staff were so professional and a special mention to ‘Sol’ who went out of her way to find the right wine for us and also letting us know what was on around the port that week. Always so friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment especially ‘Ben and The Lost Boys’ incredible performance! Can’t wait to return 😁

The food in general is on a high level, both breakfast and dinner are varied and there are a lot of local and international options. Both the hotel and the room are very clean and the staff is very attentive. The hotel is close to the beach with sunbeds. It also the place where boat trips start.

The doors to the rooms do not have a frame, which causes a lot of noise to come in to the room (people walking in the corridor, people depositing glass bottles in the recycling been). That impacted our sleep. The surrounding area is touristy and underdeveloped. It's mostly hotels, couple of grocery stores and pubs catering to British tourists. For nightlife look somewhere else. Mosquitoes are also present in the area.

The staff are all amazing at this hotel, friendly, polite, always smiling, nothing is too much trouble. They are an absolute credit to the owner and make this hotel what it is. The pools are also very lovely, one quiet side and one playing music to suit everyone. Personal preference but it would of been great to have some daytime activities, maybe water polo or volleyball etc at the livelier pool. Just a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach. The food is great with fresh food being cooked for you every night and a good choice too. Pool towels are provided and you can swap them out whenever you need at no charge. Alcudia old town is a must see, such a beautiful place and only a 10 min drive away. We had a hire car and street parking was plenty around the hotel. It took us about 40 mins to get here from the airport. A great hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to return !

Just a couple of small things really which are down to personal preference. No gym is a downside to this hotel for me, there is one a 10 min walk away which you can pay for but the equipment is very old. The entertainment, to start with just because its an adult only hotel doesnt mean people dont want fun, it was a little dull some nights and lacked atmosphere, it also finished at 10.30 which is very early.

Brilliant Hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding, I can’t believe how much time was spent to prepare many delicious dishes. Only 5 minutes walk to the most perfect beach, and crystal clear shallow waters. Ideal for non swimmers. Entertainment every night to a high quality. Both pools were good, lots of sun beds, you never had to rush to get a sun bed, always available.

For me, the hotel was on a main road, so there was a bit of traffic noise. So it wasn’t as peaceful on the balcony as hotels on side roads .

Me and my man came to stay at Astoria as our first stay in Mallorca. They welcomed us with a glass of cava which was very nice, and the staff by the reception was very friendly. We had a room faces towards the Hotel pool and the room was super nice, equitted with espresso, water, robes and mm. The beds where very comortable as well! We had a half board booking, and the food was really great! Both breakfast and dinner was super good, and the chefs really put extra effort to make it a little extra, and it was suitable for all, meat or fish eaters, vegan people etc. The pool club - Kimera was really a top notch! Live dj every day, and food was perfect for lunch. We really enjoied our time there, and pool beds was really comfortable. Coktails where 10/10! Saving the best to last ofcourse :) - the staff. The staff was incredible, they really made our stay complete, they where serving like 5 star, but still being down to earth and taking very good care of the guests. I wish I could mention all the names of the stafff, but my memory is not that good, but really all staff from reception, waiters, pool guard, cleaners, bartenders, managers.. yes all where doing and fantastic job! I do have some names I wish to add here: Daniella Mar Thiago Mamosu (this guys serves better then anyone I have seen, and smiling 100% of the time) I really gonna miss all these amazing people but we will come back next year!
