Location, staff, cleaning/maintenance, food, really perfect ”value for the money” balance

Smoking is still allowed on the balconies and if one happens to be in the middle or above smokers then the first thing you smell when you open your balcony doors is TOBACCO smoke and NOT fresh air. Tobacco smoke is a cancer risk also when inhaled passive, that’s why I think in 2K it should be allowed only out side of the hotel or as they do sometimes that they build a spesific smoking space where from the smoke is harmful to those inside and the rest of is is air-conditioned so that is routed out of the building and is not connected to normal air-conditioning system.

The breakfast was very good. Lot of varieties to choose from for our group which was of all ages. We also had diner included and all the evenings the quality and variety was very good.

Given that this is a 4 star hotel the quality was very good. But as always you would like the benches in the pool area to be of best available quality, some were at it latest stage.

I like the location, spacious rooms and very attentive and helpful staff as well as great choice of food for breakfast. There was also a good gym downstairs, so I was able to make Arnold proud.

The walls seemed to be made out of cardboard, and I could hear people snoring and farting as well as having fun time if you know what I mean. Unfortunately my neighbours decided to smoke on the balcony so it was very disturbing for me. If I was an emperor, I would ban cigarettes in the whole Spain. However, It is what it is unfortunately... It was way too loud I had to use my ear plugs. There was also loud music being played downstairs till around 22.30. Also, the toilet smelled horribly and at one night there was no warm water. I don't really mind if some things are not up to modern standards. Don't forget that this is a budget hotel, so let's not be pretentious, demanding Hilton standard 😀

I came back after 2 years and it's still just as good. This time with friends we took advantage of the breakfast, which was fantastic - the buffet was really rich and the service was very nice. The reception was always available and very helpful. There is a large room for bikes, but when it gets full there is no problem taking the bike to the apartment. The apartments are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable (optimally hard mattresses). The kitchen is well equipped. We used the pool in the afternoon, the sun practically until sunset, the water is clean. The location is a bit out of the way, so the area is quiet, in the morning you can hear birds singing, during the day a rooster from the neighborhood calls at the pool, which is nice! On the other hand, it is really close to the center or very good restaurants and the beach! The location is perfect if you want to go cycling, easy access to Cap Formentor, Garage loop and Sa Calobra, but also to the area around Petra (Ermita de Bonany!) or the velodrome in Sineu. I am happy again, my friends who were here for the first time were also happy. I will probably return here again in the future.

I received a room with a rather unpleasant smell in the shower; after reporting the matter to the reception, the problem was quickly solved :)

Lovely hotel. Family orientated. Friendly and helpful staff. Very spacious modern air conned apartment we were half board so didn’t use cooking facilities but it was really useful to have the fridge. Great space for myself, partner and teenage son as we all had enough room and privacy. Large balcony with nice pool view. The pool is a good size and pool area very well kept. Great choice for breakfast and decent evening meal - we were half board. Short walk to the beautiful beach.

Towards the end of our stay (mid July) nearing school holidays it got busy by pool and some people reserved sunbeds with towels and then went away for two hours or more. Some grupotels have a policy against this which I think would be a good idea to implement here too. If you aren’t all inclusive drinks from the poolside snack bar were expensive. However there is a well stocked Spa supermarket across from the hotel and no objections made to you bringing your own drinks poolside. Not the hotels fault but mosquitoes are an issue in Alcudia with all the waterways so come prepared with repellents etc.

The hotel was immaculate with plenty of staff on hand at all times. We arrived at 2am, reception is 24/7. Our room was spacious (we were staying in an apartment). Meals were varied and excellent. We had breakfast and evening meal each day. The amenities were great: pool was lovely and we had no problem getting loungers. Towels were provided and the upkeep of the surroundings, hedges, trees and flowers made for a perfect restful break. It is a family hotel so there were quite a few younger children but that was incidental for us. They were very well looked after and we loved watching their joyful faces. We got the A32 bus to the airport which stops about 200m from the hotel and is a direct connection taking just over an hour.

Nothing but personally I do enjoy smaller beaches and coves where I can snorkel. I'm sure these can be found, particularly if you have a car, but the main beach was just an immense stretch of sand with plenty of water sports: great for kids. This is just something to keep in mind. It's not a negative, but the area is geared up for families. For that reason we visited places such as Alcudia old town which was brilliant and also took an amazing boat trip. All in all I have rarely felt better looked after: it was one of our best holidays.

I recently returned from a delightful stay at the Grupotel Port D'Alcudia in Mallorca, and I can't recommend it enough! The hotel, while not brand new, is exceptionally well-maintained. The common areas and rooms were kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The facilities, including the pool area, were perfect for relaxation. One of the standout features of my experience was the friendly staff. The team went above and beyond to ensure guests felt comfortable. The breakfast was another highlight - an extensive and delicious spread with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The location is also fantastic, with plenty of supermarkets, cafes, and bars nearby. This made it easy to explore local dining options or grab essentials without any hassle. Lastly, the hotel’s proximity to the beach line is unbeatable. Just a short walk away, I enjoyed easy access to beautiful sandy shores, ideal for relaxing or enjoying water activities. Overall, my experience at Grupotel Port D'Alcudia was wonderful, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Mallorca!

Hotel was very clean. 5 min walk to beach. Staff were very friendly. Also caters to gluten free. Evening entertainment was also pretty good. Highly recommend this hotel will be returning next year for a longer stay. Large buffet selection lots of puddings too. My dad did get some raw chicken but this was removed as soon as they were aware and had no other issues the rest of the stay. The food was lovely. Would be nice if the put a weekly menu up to let you know what style the food was going to be on certain nights. Oh they also do snack from 12 to 4. Things like hotdogs and chips,burgers,pizza also available in gluten free. All freshly made and you just order from pool bar.

All inclusive was very selective on drinks. Only 4 cocktails were free. Bloody mary, pina colada margarita and daqarie. Soft drinks were free and coffees. Some spirits were 1 euro other cocktails were half price about 5 euro. Ice creams at pool bar free, ice cream inside were selective. Food- caters to gluten free but staff seemed unsure on items (could be because it's beginning of season) but they do prepare fresh gluten free food. It's the buffet they seem unsure on.

Good location, good facilities helpful. Friendly stuff. I have stayed here many times in the past and will come back here again in the future. Very good location for the Iron Man event and cycling holidays in general.

Unfortunately for me on this trip I had a family in the room next door with young children who liked to run up and down the corridor shouting late at night and also had a baby that was crying two or three times in the night, and with the walls being very thin on the rooms I did not get a very good night's sleep for this trip but this was obviously not any fault of the hotel.

Really well catered for little ones! Great location, supermarket, ATM, water park and beach really close to the hotel (the supermarket is directly opposite, ATM 2 mins away, beach 10 minutes stroll, as is the water park. The rooms are spacious, really clean and the balcony is lovely and much bigger than average. The cot made up for the little ones was lovely, comfy and my son slept great! The breakfast was great - so much selection to choose from and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly.

Sunbeds could use an upgrade. We found they sagged in the middle making it quite hard to get up and down from.
