We would certainly stay here again if in Segovia. The charming, beautifully set up hotel is full of history. It is located right on the Main Plaza, from where we could walk to all the sights in town. The room was lovely, scrupulously clean. The staff were very helpful while arranging our stay, and once we were there. It was a relief to my partner that they offered valet parking, as we arrived at dusk in this very old, complicated city with narrow one-way streets (like so many other wonderful cities in Europe).

Great location. Nice big room. Clean. Helpful and kind cleaning staff.

Front desk staff was helpful, but not that friendly. Had breakfast which I believed was included in the room price, but they changed separately for it. And it was mediocre at best. Shower was a handheld only. Sprayer was too strong for its holder and sprayed all over the place if you didn’t grab it before turning on. Light over the mirror was useless. And the he light fixture in the room did not appear to be attached to the ceiling properly. Also hand rail in the lobby on small rise of stairs was wobbly for anyone who needed it for support.

Our three days stay in the hotel Infanta Isabel were fantastic despite the fact that we were Plaza Mayor during the festivities. Hotel staff advised us in advance that there were going to be some noise, and it was quite noisy. However it did not bother us a bit, we just decided to embrace local celebrations and go to bed late. We were able to watch processions, concerts and dancing from our balcony which made unforgettable experience. Hotel itself is older but well maintained, comfortable and very clean with polite and helpful staff. We want especially recognize Graziela, beautiful and welcoming dining room hostess, who welcomed us every morning with a smile and assisted with breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will book it again if we come back to Segovia.

The location on the Plaza Mayor was perfect, and we were quite astounded to have even secured the reservation when we arrived and found ourselves in the midst of a huge celebration weekend (Queen Isabela's 550th coronation anniversary) that made it really tough to get dining reservations anywhere. The hotel was old but very nicely furnished, the staff were mostly helpful, and the food in the morning was good, including the breakfast they packed for us on a morning when we needed to leave the hotel before the normal breakfast hours.

It would have been really nice had we been told to expect difficulty getting dining reservations and offered some help with that on check-in, given the huge crowd coming into town at the same time that was rather a surprise, but such help was not offered and we found out the hard way. Getting to the hotel required a bit of walking (when cabs couldn't get into the Plaza during the day) that would have been tough for some people, but departing early in the morning was easy when taxis were allowed into the Plaza Mayor.

Perfect location, with a view out onto the Plaza Mayor - but the sound insulation was excellent and the curtains thick, so we had a very sound sleep. The room was extremely spacious (we had a 'superior twin room with view') and the twin beds, pushed together, were just like a super-kingsize double. The bathroom was also spacious with a bath with spa-jets (didn't try those) and a nice strong shower. The staff were very helpful (excellent English spoken) and it's nice to have a midday checkout to give plenty of time for morning tourism before leaving. And yes, Segovia is wonderful, with its fairytale castle/alcazar, magnificent cathedral, winding medieval streets, valley walks amoings lush vegetation and views of distant mountains still snow-covered in mid-May.

You have to pick a breakfast time-slot and the breakfast room is a bit cramped, but this didn't bother us -- there was a good range of hot (scrambled and boiled eggs, mini-sausages) and cold (meats, cheese, fruits, yogurts, several different pastries, breads and croissants) food, plus juices and teas/coffees. But why a nespresso-style coffee machine in a country with such excellent real coffee?!

Simply cannot beat the location: our room with a view looked out onto Plaza Mayor and the sumptuous, sun-kissed cathedral looming over all, a gorgeous way to greet the morning. Easy walk to the Alcazar, plus the famed José Maria restaurant is just around the corner. Good-sized room and amazing shower with plenty of hot water. Very good sound-proofing of windows when needed but it is lovely to open them up to the breeze and that amazing view. Nice breakfast at a reasonable price.

Mattress was uncomfortably firm, more like sleeping on a box spring, very little padding. Oddly, we have encountered this in higher-end and even resort accommodations elsewhere and in other countries. Hmm...

The location was great. Our room was lovely with a juliette balcony. The staff were very helpful, especially the smiling lady at breakfast. Parking was brilliant. You can drive to the front of the hotel, unload and the valet will park your car and return it at your requested time. 16 euros cost.

Great location, on the plaza and close walking distance to shops and aqueduct..

Room was a little small. Bathroom had the smell of a sewer leak, and as though someone had just used the toilet. Very cramp and small bathroom. The shower was one of those half glass enclosures that allows water to be sprayed on the floor when taking a shower. Tub was very slippery. The toilet was situated facing very close to the sink so it was very awkward to use it. You literally had to stand at an angle to use it, and you had to almost squeeze to sit down on it. There was a bidet next to the toilet and that is where the toilet should have been as it was more open. Overall a very uncomfortable bathroom that made our stay less pleasant.

We were lucky enough to have had an enormous suite on the top floor over looking the cathedral and square. It was not what we had booked but we’re lucky to be upgraded and we’re very thankful but in retrospect would be worth recommending to pay for - for the space and the views. Location is right on Plaza Mayor and easy walk to all main sites.

Parking is a big issue and must be booked before hand, but even if you do, the its valet parking is only for small cars and we had to park ours about ten minutes away in a public car park but you can drive onto Plaza Mayor to unload luggage. Timed slots for breakfast from 8:30am onwards.

We had a quaint room which overlooked a pedestrian road off the main square. There was a festival on over the weekend so it was very busy and noisy at times. But it was a superb position in the centre of the old city right by the cathedral.

The breakfast room small and squashed and was quite chaotic with self-service items having to be collected in different places all around the room. The hotel could do with some refurbishing.
