We stayed at the Hotel Real Segovia for 2 nights in May 2025. The hotel is on a pedestrian street so we opted for valet parking at €18/night which let us drop off the car about 50m away, unpack and then the car was removed to an offsite car park until we needed it again. The location is in easy walking distance of all the main attractions in the city - the Alcazar is 15 minutes one way and the Aquaduct 10 minutes the other, with the walls, Jewish quarter, cathedral etc being in between. The rooms are a good size and modern with plenty of sockets, good wifi and a desk and a kettle too! The bathrooms were lovely with a bath included, even in the standard rooms. There is also a rooftop terrace which we only visited once but would be lovely if you had a more relaxed stay! We opted for breakfast both mornings rather than walking elsewhere and it was a varied selection with cooked as well as buffet options for €12. Service was friendly and efficient throughout our stay.

The location is fantastic. Best of all, this hotel oozes old-world charm. The roof terrace has fantastic views of the city and the aqueduct and there are public rooms full of old furniture and plants where you can read a book. We loved it. The rooms are comfortable, the wifi works great and the hotel was nice and warm. The man working on reception when we were there was friendly and helpful. Breakfast does the job but isn't anything to write home about.

The female staff working on reception while we were there we unfriendly and quite rude at times. We discovered a pest control issue in one of the rooms during the last night and when we told reception about it on check-out the next morning so that they could deal with it before the next guests arrived, we basically got told off for not mentioning it sooner. Customer service skills need work. This was a shame, because apart from that, we really liked the hotel.

The hotel is centrally located so there was lots of choice for restaurants and visiting the historic center was very easy. The staff was fantastic. The room was very large and we had lots of space to spread out. Breakfast was perfect; my husband could order his eggs the way he likes them. There was adequate heat (we visited in January). The city of Segovia has an incredible history and lots to see; worth the trip.

There wasn't much of a view from the hotel room but there is a library on the top floor with a wonderful view of the city and drinks. Certainly makes up for the lack of view from the room.

Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived here first thing after our long haul flight from the US so we were exhausted but they had our room ready and even let us check in early. The staff were so nice and the hotel was very comfortable. They provided excellent recommendations for parking our car and getting around. The location could not be any better. It's quiet but perfectly located only 5 min walk from the Aqueduct and 10-15 min walk to the cathedral and castle. The view from the roof is really amazing. Plenty of hot water and good wifi. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Nothing. Perfect stay

First of all - that hotel exceed my expectations. Room was good but most of all- that hotel has heritage charm- its build on old castle wall and you can enjoy exceptional view from your room and roof top deck. Also I was surprised that Frank Sinatra and Sophia Loren used to stay here during filming. Location is perfect, staff is friendly but mostly for me- view and heritage of building - amazing!!! I didn’t expect that and was surprised it was like driving Steve McQueen car or be the part of 007 old movie. Wao :)))

They painted lobby in white colour over expensive wood panels - looks modern but I am the big fan of MCM houses and hate when wood or natural stone are painted

Segovia is a magical place and this hotel is a gem on a pedestrian street. Excellent location, especially since we were traveling by train and taxi, so we did not have to contend with parking a car. We were especially grateful for the special attention we received from the tall young man at reception who not only called our taxi but walked with us to the taxi pick up area to be sure someone else didn't take our taxi. (National holiday the Saturday we were leaving and the historic zone in the city was packed with visitors). Over and above the call of duty.

The breakfast was a little disappointing since there were no warm or hot options. But the cost was reasonable.

Hotel is very conveniently located in the midst of all the historic sites of old Segovia. We were able to park our car in the private garage of the hotel and not have to worry about parking or driving which made this stay very stressful free. To truly experience Segovia, you must walk the city. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The terrace was a true gem and added value to the historic glamour days of famous people who have lodged here over the years.

The location was excellent. There were views of the Cathedral from the bedroom window and also the lovely roof terrace (where you could also see the Roman aqueduct). The breakfast was plentiful, with a wide selection and good quality food. The waiter in the breakfast room was friendly. The bathroom was sizeable with good lighting and a magnified shaving mirror.

The fitting the shower was attached to was not capable of staying in place higher up, it would always slide down to the bottom. The result was you could only stand underneath the shower with the shower held in one hand.

Easy walking distance from everywhere. Good breakfast on the one morning we used it. Welcomed at check in. Views from the fifth floor. A room at the back with views over trees.

After checkout, a taxi was ordered for us but the communication from staff as to where it would turn up was hopelessly vague ( we do speak Spanish) and reception only checked to tell us the taxi had waited elsewhere and left. Could do better! Segovia on a Saturday night was still noisy at 6 am…

Super good location. Lovely rooms which were very clean. Rooftop terrace was lovely to go up to and sit and admire the view.

Breakfast was in a very shabby and dated room and wasn’t up to the same standard as the rest of the property and experience. For example there were a few yoghurts in the fridge that were out of date. Would probably give it a miss and just pay for the room and then go to one of the many local cafés for breakfast if I were do go again.
