Everything about the hotel was great. Location was perfect; staff were super helpful and friendly; the room was a good size with huge & very comfortable bed, Nespresso machine (kettle available on request), reasonably priced mini bar with complimentary water, great shower & good quality towels. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking a very busy street but the windows make it almost soundproof so absolutely no problems there. We booked on a room only basis but had breakfast there every morning and, again, couldn't fault it. The food was always fresh, plentiful and the lady who worked in the breakfast room always had a smile on her face. I'm assuming that the only reason this hotel isn't officially graded higher is because they don't have their own bar but there are many to choose from as soon as you walk outside. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Don't have any criticisms at all

It is difficult to identify what we most liked. The Hotel Sorolla Centro was everything we imagined and more. The staff were kind, polite and extremely helpful with everything from check-in, giving directions to dinner places and concerts in addition to managing late arriving parcels that needed to be passed on to us. There were four of us across three rooms and even though we had not agreed to breakfast beforehand, each morning's breakfast turned into a delightfully relaxing time on the first floor. The daily wonderful fresh orange juice and Cava also helped the mood. One Reception Host, Miguel, was the epitomy of excellent service going beyond the call of duty to ensure our shopping parcels arrived on time. We are deeply grateful for all his efforts.

Honestly nothing comes to mind

The hotel is in an amazing location So close to everything and right beside a metro station. Nice restaurants in immediate vicinity Staff are really friendly We didn't eat breakfast, but it smelled amazing every morning! Nespresso coffee machine in the room, which was lovely to drink on the balcony in the morning watching the restaurants set up for the day. Bed was really comfortable with many pillows.

It's really noisy from 8am with the restaurants setting up their tables and chairs so, no long lies! Walls are thin too, so we heard our neighbours moving around.

Nothing really except no public area/lobby to sit in

Excellent location in the pedestrian historic city center buzzing with life but very close to public transport and car park. Our individual rooms were very small but built and furnished to satisfy every need, and filled with all sorts of little comforts. The pillows almost made me a thief! The staff and particularly Pilar at the reception desk with her welcoming smile and patience made us feel at home.

The breakfasts we felt have room for improvement. Not the sort of wedding buffet so many hotels produce which is good to avoid waste, but with reduced choice all the products should be great and some were average.

The location was very central, close to the city centre as well as the train station. So it was very convenient to get around. The staff especially those at the reception area were extremely helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The coffee station in the room was an added bonus as was the water fountain available in the other floor. At breakfast there was an ample choice of food and the breakfast room overlooking the street was set up very nicely. The provision of the luggage and its adjoining restrooms was another bonus.

There was nothing which we did not like.

Everything about the property was amazing! The stuff is very polite and helpful. They even fulfilled our request to get two separate beds. You can store your luggage and stuff in the big and spacious locker provided by hotel staff. Breakfast didn't have plenty options but it was definitely enough and everything was good quality and tasty. Location is super close to the metro station Xàtiva and it is in the city center, you can walk to various city attractions.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the lack of slippers provided. So make sure to bring your own!

A really nice, relatively small hotel. Situated just inside the old quarter and literally a few minutes walk from the train station. Staff were excellent, especially the lady who managed the breakfast room, who really couldn't do enough to make you comfortable and ensure you had everything you needed. If you approach this as a budget hotel, you will be more than happy with what you get for your money. Very clean, rooms a decent size and if you are British, just ask them at the desk for a kettle and they are more than happy to oblige. The breakfast room on the first floor was light and airy and very clean. The breakfast fare was very reasonable given the price and we found it more than adequate. Would use again if we ever return to Valencia

Nothing. An enjoyable stay.

The hotel is downtown, 2 minutes to the subway. The street is a pedestrian street with plenty of restaurants, bars. The hotel is clean, modern, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was environmentally conscious, I really liked the fact that we got a jug that we could fill with water at the restaurant. The coffee machine also meant a lot to me, and the capsules were replaced every day. Breakfast was only used by my son, but he was satisfied with it.

Hotel is in a great location. Easily accessible to everything by foot. The rooms were comfortable and very functional...non slip mats for the bathtub was really appreciated...a very thoughtful addition. There was a communication issue and my second room booking for a friend was cancelled just before our trip...but Lidia was super helpful and managed to provide another room. She and the front desk team were really friendly and helpful. They also helped with restaurant recommendations and making reservations. The hotel is also very well organized...esp the baggage storage facilities. Was very impressed.

Nothing honestly. The bathrooms are a bit old and probably need a revamp soon. But clean and functional...so no complaints.
