Perfect stay! Very friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful pool and delicious breakfast. Me and a friend stayed here to unwind after a road trip through inland Sri Lanka and this hotel exceeded all our expectations. Would come back any day!

It's Clean, close to the beach, good facilities, and not over priced like other places in this condition. Room service food is good and fresh and cheap too

Room is spacious with comfortable bed, great working A/C, nice chairs. Very close to Polhena beach (we just got to know about the private beach the day we checked out...staff didn't tell us before). The pool is great to relax, although the chemicals were a bit aggressive.

The service and cleanliness was poor. Breakfast service is a little disaster, you'll wait about 10-15 minutes after you were seated to get some fruits (not ready to eat yet). After another 15 minutes you'll get your breakfast, however they won't ask you about your preferences, so you might end up with breakfast you don't like at all (e.g. egg, sausages). Finally, they will ask you about the drinks (coffee or tea). So with minimum 30 minutes you finally get something to drink. Cleanliness was a kind of problem. Breakfast cups and pots were dirty and had stains. Same for some of the pillow and bed linen. Towels were also dirty and had stains on them. The glasses of our welcome drinks were never collected (3 nights! We washed them to not attract smell or insects), same for our dinner plates. Note for the owners: Please change the service! Ask about coffee and tea first and about preferences. If you serve fruits, make sure, they are ready to eat. Also check in and check out took far too long and it seemed nobody had a clue about our booking. Clean the cups/pots, linen and towels properly. Collect the glasses and plates the same day. Introduce the guests to the private beach, doesn't make sense to hear about it just before check out.

Staff were mostly nice, however, communication could’ve been better - unclear if bfast is free or included (either way, it’s 5/10, terrible coffee), no information online whether wifi is available or not (it is), the lady at reception could be doing a much better job at communicating things clearly at check-in.

We had the room on the first floor and it was extremely humid due to the pool waterfall installation running right outside 24/7, even towels were damp when we checked in. When booking, bear in mind that this hotel is primarily a banquet hall for weddings etc so it can be noisy which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some. Location was ok, tbh there are better options out there for a comparable price and closer to better beaches. Overall, wouldn’t say this was good value for the money paid.
