The view in the balcony and the location

a bit serious staff not much friendly, they make you feel like you are working in a company

The hotel, staff, views, location and breakfast were all amazing. The hotel balcony has the best view point in grindelwald. The views of snow clad Eiger from rooms was unbeatable. Julius upgraded our room for six nights stay. He guided us with options for our trip. Big thanks to him and all staff for making our stay memorable. During rains the balcony is the best place to enjoy the view. Bang opposite is the mini golf where family can spent an enjoyable evening. Base station to grindelwald first is very close. The first bus stop from grindelwald is hotel which reflects the views and prominence of hotel.

Everything was perfect.

A simple and functional room which was very clean, had great mountain views and a lovely balcony. Nice breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was with my wife and daughter and had a double bed and a single bed. Perfect for our needs. Our room overlooked the main street and was in a great central location. Great double glazed balcony door and window so was very quiet.

The location couldn’t be better, situated right in the heart of the village, which made exploring the area very convenient. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The room itself was a pleasant surprise – it was not just a room but a full apartment complete with a kitchen. It was more spacious than I had anticipated and featured a private entrance, adding an extra layer of privacy to our stay.

The apartment was impeccably clean and maintained, although the decor and furnishings had a charming, albeit slightly dated, Swiss style. This only added to the rustic charm of the place. A minor inconvenience was that the water took some time to heat up in the shower, but it was a small issue compared to the overall quality of the stay.

The view is superb, with mountains view right outside our balcony. Room is big and bed is comfortable. Next to it is the supermarket and eateries nearby.

Good breakfast, caring, friendly staff. Very helpful with anything that you asked. Very clean and absolutely the best breathtaking view. Loved the cows with bells going down the Main Street right below our balcony. The bus stop is right out front so you don’t have to carry your luggage to the hotel. Walk directly from the train to the bus next to it. It only takes about three minutes to get there.Again the staff was wonderful. I would stay here again.

Perfect location within Grindelwald. All local attractions were within walking distance. Friendly and accommodating staff and they took care of all our needs. My spouse was sick and they did the best to help her out. The girls at the reception were very helpful, unfortunately I don't remember the names but I appreciate them really. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend 10/10 to anyone looking at a place to stay in Grindelwald.

Everything was amazing, however the price is slightly on the higher end but Switzerland is expensive in general. Great stay actually, and we definitely made the right choice.

Our stay in Hotel Grindelwalderhof was perfect for our three night stay in Grindelwald. Location was walkable from the train station with easy access to the First Gondola. Looking out our balcony at the peaks and glaciers was amazing. The breakfast served in the morning was very convenient to start our day. The front desk staff was very helpful.

Windows blocked out most street noise, but it is located directly on the main street.

The staff was awesome. Donato was especially helpful. The breakfast was over the top with many choices and fresh.

The sauna could have been awesome but the temperature was set too high and there was no instruction on how to adjust it.
