Friendly and Very Supportive staff. We were taken to the hotel on the car free of charge by a big man who working at the new property.

1. The check-in is very confusing. We stay in Pinte hotel but we need to check-in in their new branch on the hill without no clear instruction. We climbed up to the hill with our baggages in order to check-in and stepped down to the Pinte hotel (Thank God we accidently met a big guy who working in the hotel and he supported us by driving us back to Pinte hotel with our baggages). And we found out a lot of people were consufing like us even we met a couple there and they said that they had had the same problem. 2. The fireplace in the room are a little bit high. sometimes we felt hot and stuffy.

Cosy room with addtional space with sofa for viewing the moutain. Nice helpful staff, just have to note the stay is beside the road but reception is further up the flight of stairs.

The location was just perfect, comfy bed with all basic amenities. The view is great as well.

It’s opposite to a pub called avocado so it may become noisy at night. In summer it was a bit hot for one night the place does not have a fan so carry a portable one if you are travelling in summer. The room has low ceiling, however since we both are below 6’ so it was fine for us but for tall folks it may be an issue.

The location was great in town, in the middle of everything. sound level was not to loud.

We waited at the train station for the pickup car provided by the hotel for almost 40 minutes, and the hotel was only a 10-minute walk away. we decided to walk it to the hotel but the check-in was at the top of a hill. this was not a good experience. but our car did turn up and it was a nice new defender the driver apologized and loaded our bags dropped them at the hotel then drove us up to the post-hotel check. staff, there was a great apologized.

Cosy, clean and comfortable. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and staff were very helpful. We had some confusion with the check in location, the staff were helpful and also shuttled us to our room.

We were a bit confused with the location as this is a part of the larger hotel further up the hill where you check in. So our check in took a bit longer once we figured out where to go. Not a big deal, but I think the instructions could be clearer.

The hotel with good location. Walkable distance to Grindelwald Train station and First station. The room is clean, spacious and comfy looks like newly renovated. The Toilet also clean and spacious. Appreciate that the property sent us email upon booking comfirmed to remind us to checkin at the sister hotel behind. And pick-up service is available if needed. The instruction is clear.

There are stairs! Guest rooms are located on 1st and 2nd floor (resturant on ground floor). We need to carry luggages up by stairs. Although its fine for us. It will be better if we knew we need to carry luggages up and down by stairs. We may consider to bring 2 small luggages rather than a big one.

Nice decor. Comfortable beds. Good, working bathroom facilities, which includes a heated rack. TV with English channels. Good WiFi.

The room is a bit small. No kettle or utensils. There is a kettle in the shared area, but it would have been better to have one in the room itself. The key opens both the door to the building and to the room, which was concerning. But we stuck the key in from the inside, which prevents any keys from the outside from being able to unlock the door.

We spoke with the staff and upgraded for $150 to a much nicer room at the sister hotel Bergwelt. That stay was amazing, had access to really nice facilities, etc...

Hotel Pinte was actually a little underwhelming. It was small, didn't have any cooling such as AC, etc... and got pretty hot and stuffy. So you have to open the windows which gives everyone around you a view of you inside the room.

Location was great, on the main road but it did get noisy due to bar across the road and there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room

No tea or coffee making facilities. We needed a key to get into the building but you can walk in from restaurant side up the stairs into the toilet area/foyer and your outside the room, need to segregate that section to prevent non guests from entering that area

we got upgraded to the main hotel area. Design and feeling of the space really great, very comfortable beds and pillows.
