From start to finish this hotel was amazing. We stayed in the Eiger suite with another couple. Plenty of room for privacy We had 2 large bedrooms with incredible views, 2 bathrooms and a good sized lounge. The patio area was excellent and overlooked the Main Street, the Eiger and the valley of Grindelwald. The spa is one of the best I’ve been in. It had everything you need. We stayed in August and I would often have the pool to myself. We ate in the restaurant one evening and had a lovely meal. The restaurant offers delicious Italian food. Recommend to book in advance if you want to sit on the terrace. Very close to all other amenities, cafe’s restaurants and shops. Everything is spotless, the staff were polite and friendly. Super location just a 5 min walk from station. Will definitely visit again.

The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is to buy covers for the food at breakfast to stop flies landing on the meats and pastries. This was off putting

We had the tiger room i believe that had a balcony with an amazing view! They made a bed for my four year old and had kid's slippers and a robe for her!!! The facilities are amazing. The infinity pool was smallish but fun and views were amazing from the pool! The other spa facilities were also great like the ice room, etc and we got to use the facilities even on after checkout! Breakfaat was also great! Made to order eggs! Loved this hotel. The only thing is it's pricey but that's everywhere in Grindelwald! Oh and they have free shuttle to and from the Train station! I just emailed them to request for pick up. Short walk to Grindelwald first Gondola.

There are no hotels except here with this price included SPA. Breakfast is very nice with various food and live scramble egg. Direct access to ski dry room from outside on the grand floor. One of the closest hotels from the bus stop which goes to all ski lifts and a rental ski shop. Very nice view of mountains from pool and restaurant.

It was in a great location and not far from the train station. Got the most breathtaking view of the mountains from our bedroom balcony and the spa was amazing and clean! The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was cozy with black out curtains and warm lighting. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection of food and drinks.

The bed was very soft which did hurt our back as we’re used to a firm mattress and after a lot of hiking we needed some back support. The pillow was very thin so we had to double it over to sleep on it, I think having one firm one and one thinner one would help so people can choose. Would have liked more hot food for breakfast as it was omelettes, egg, bacon or pancakes and that was al the hot food.

This hotel is very well positioned- a short walk from the train station and cable car, yet in the main centre and with fantastic views from the terrace and heated pool. The sauna facilities were great after hiking too. Breakfast buffet was generous and varied with hot and cold dishes and a selection of local cheese.

Unfortunately the beds in our room were not very comfortable- a bit lumpy and unsupportive. We dined in one evening, but were disappointed not to have any local Swiss dishes on the menu. The Italian menu of pizza and pasta is becoming ubiquitous in tourist areas and i don't think that's what people who travel to Grindelwald want to eat - the almost empty dining room confirmed this.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, making it easy to explore the area. While the breakfast offered a standard selection, a particular highlight was the omelette station, where the staff member serving was exceptionally polite and friendly, providing a very pleasant start to the day. The pool area also impressed with its great views. We particularly enjoyed our room, which featured a balcony allowing us to take in the beautiful Mt. Elder view. A significant positive was the staff's excellent service; having booked two rooms, they thoughtfully offered us connecting rooms, which was greatly appreciated.

The hotel does show some signs of age, and the rooms, while comfortable, were not particularly spacious.

Our second time staying here - beautiful location, excellent facilities, great breakfast, easy parking, close to everything, lovely pool and wellness area.

The hotel restaurants were closed (only breakfast available for guests). It would have been nice to be told ahead of time (I found out the info on their website the week before). We found food options in the area but food in general in the area is quite unhealthy/low quality. Other than that, the only complaint was the children in the pool under 7pm rule was not enforced so not the most relaxing option in such a beautiful location.

The Eiger suite is so spacious for a family with two kids. The second bathroom makes a huge difference. Special toiletries, gowns and slippers provided for the children too. The private patio was amazing for our kids to enjoy the fresh snow, build snowmen, etc without having to go anywhere! Lots of cupboard space for suitcases and wet sports gear. Central heating helped dry any wet clothes within a day. The Mercato restaurant is fabulous. Service, quality pasta, pizza and other foods. We ate there twice and could have done a few more meals there. Loved the gluhwein in the entrance hall when we returned from the slopes. Reception desk is extremely helpful for travel advice and buying tickets or making reservations. Close to the station and bus stop. Loved the heated swimming pool outdoors whilst it was snowing! Breakfast was good but not a huge selection.

The “double bed” in the main bedroom is two single beds next to each other, so if you sleep in the middle you fall through the gap. The mattresses in the main bedroom were not that firm anymore, perhaps time for rotation or replacement.

it was big! apart from the hotel there was a restaurant and also a bar and a huge massage, sauna, swimming pool. The swimming pool is well-known being an infinity pool that overlooks the Eiger. I tried it because of that reputation and it is sensational but could be a little bit warmer given the outside temperature. The room we stayed in with the junior suite and it was very hard to understand exactly the layout and how big it was but it ended up being great ! The breakfast was great. Location 5-10 min. from station depending in your confidence walking in snow. I survived, my partner a bit slippy!!

The restaurant was a little bit poor on the selection of food and quite expensive. In the lead up to our stay, I was uncertain about if I had booked the right place but in the end I was happy.

We had the most amazing time here celebrating our anniversary. I booked this to surprise my fiancée, and as soon as we woke up on the first morning and saw the view of the Eiger, covered in snow and mist, I knew I made a good choice! We had a ground floor room so it was easy to step out into the snow, or sit on the patio and enjoy the view. Our daughter loved being able to play in the snow each morning before breakfast. The infinity pool exceeded our expectations, it was a highlight of our holiday being able to relax here each evening. I was glad the hotel allowed children as it meant we could enjoy it as a family. We went at various times and it was never too busy. The breakfast was decent and had a good variety. The Mercato restaurant was also pretty good, reasonably priced and I was glad they had a kids menu. They also do take out, so you can have it in your room. Overall an amazing hotel, we will definitely be coming back and I would recommend to anyone.
