The hotel was only a few metres away from the trains, bus to various ski resorts, shops and restaurants. Our room was huge with lovely mountain views and a sunny balcony. Wifi was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and available over a long period (07:00 - 10:30). The restaurant was good.

Our room was generally very good but it was impossible to watch TV while sitting on the sofa which was alongside it (perhaps mount the TV on the wall). The TV had BBC World channel but it would have been nice to have had an additional English-speaking channel eg CNN. The room was very sunny during the day but quite dark in the evenings; it needs an extra light in the middle of the ceiling and one over the mirror. It would be nice if the hotel had a lounge area that guests could access during the day when the reception and bar are closed. Beware the waterfall shower!

The room was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the room came with a massive balcony with a sweeping view. I only tried the restaurant for breakfast but the food I tasted was very good. Hotel staff were friendly during my interactions with them. The biggest win for this hotel though is the location. It’s opposite the train station and where all the PTT coaches depart from, making it perfect for doing multiple day trips into the mountains!

It’s a shame the hotel restaurant is closed on a Monday. This is typical of most restaurants in the country but is not something you would expect at a hotel serving international tourists.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Eden Hotel. The rooms were very spacious, a lovely big balcony and a modern and very clean bathroom. It was easy to park. We stayed as a family to go skiing and it was only a 10 minute drive up to Laax. Otherwise, the bus up to Laax leaves from right outside the hotel. The sauna, after a day on the slopes, was very welcome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket right across the road. Ilanz is a pretty town. We were very happy with our choice of this hotel.

We didn't love the coffee but the tea selection was very good!

We booked a time at the reception to visit the spa, however many guests booked the same time. The sauna had room for four people, making it quite crowded. The whirlpool and steam bath were under repair. We were missing some facilities to hang up the towels. The staff assured us that these points will be taken into consideration for future improvements.

The view from our room was incredible, and the room itself was really spacious. Having a balcony was a great extra touch. The breakfast was good.

The cleanliness could have been better—there were noticeable stains on the carpet that were a bit off-putting. The check-in process was also less than ideal. We arrived before 7 p.m., but the hotel was closed, and the reception desk was unattended, even though the posted hours indicated it should have been open. I didn’t receive any information via email or through Booking.com messages, which was supposed to be the main channel of communication. When I called the number provided, a staff member told me they had sent an access code via SMS, but I never received it. Overall, the process was unnecessarily complicated.

I stayed at this hotel once before just after it had opened and when I saw it was available for a convenient one night's stay I had no hesitation in booking once again. I was travelling across Switzerland in order to get here and it made an ideal place to bed down for the night. I arrived by train and the hotel is a short walk away. The view from my room on the seventh floor was outstanding.

I really had difficulty thinking of something so for the sake of nit picking could I just point out that not everyone who stays is a coffee drinker! I really could have done with a refreshing cup of tea upon my arrival but it was not to be. Oh, the member of staff on duty in the evening seemed to be doubling up as also in charge of the bar. He had no intention of dealing with my request to settle up that night preferring to leave it to the morning staff to deal with.

Freshly renovated rooms, hotel located at the Ilanz train station, very good in house restaurant also popular with town locals, courteous staff.

The hotel has 5 floors out of 10 in the building but there’s only 1 elevator for the full building. Breakfast is a typical European breakfast (bread, eggs, bacon, cheese muesli)… nothing special. The pillows could be more comfortable if they were smaller in size and were memory foam or just regular pillows.

Hotel: Great Breakfast. Hotel is located in tower with some offices in the floors beneath. Spa is small but does its job. Parking at the Hotel and Spa were 5 CHF extra surcharge each. Connection to Laax ski resort: a bit far from the Laax ski slopes, Bus stop directly in front of the Hotel, took 30minutes to 45 minutes with public transportation. With car: Parking at the ski resort was alright, parking fee cheaper than expected: around 15 CHF per day

The hotel is right by the train station, which is convenient. The room was big and very clean. The balcony has chairs and a small table. The view from the balcony was beautiful. Breakfast buffet was included and served a good selection. Dinner was on the pricier side (even for Switzerland) but delicious.

The ventilation in the bathroom (both rooms) didnt seem to work. Rooms didnt seem very soundproof either as one could here people walking around on the top floor. Dont expect much from the spa. It's just a whirlpool for 6 people max. The sauna and steam bath was alright but again small. There is an extra charge for the spa area.

We had a very relaxing stay and will not hesitate to come back. Great location near the Ilanz railway/bus station allows easy access to all first-class hiking trails in the surrounding areas. Excellent soundproofing protects from noise both from outside an inside. Room was spacy, with real mountain views, with a convinient layout and all you need for several days stay. Good bathroom with a bathtub. Outstanding value for money (we booked a week before arrival with a discounted price). Very good breakfast. Stable internet connection. Restaurant of the hotel is may be not outstanding, but OK.

In our room there was a peculiar combination of new and quite worn furniture. However the bed was good, so just a minor issue, which did not affect our impression.
