Overall, I really enjoyed my stay together with my dog to avoid the fireworks. There were still some fireworks, but that is none of the hotels fault and overall manageable. The staff was super nice and always happy to help. The location is also great as you have a few restaurants nearby and shops, too.

It was a little loud in our room whenever someone was walking on the hallways, even at night. Make sure to talk to the staff about parking as parking was a little confusing to me: The hotel has a couple parking spots which aren't always enough. There is a huge parking area right next to it but apparently it is not allowed to park there overnight.

Conveniently located in Ilanz (DE)/Glion (Romontsch) very close to the central train station if you are coming via public transport. Rooms are clean and modern, and you can choose between more dorm-style rooms or ones with an ensuite. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, comfortable bed, very reasonable price (compare any hotel in Zürich). I would say particularly suitable if you are travelling around the Surselva region and you need to stop in the Glion area for a night.

There is nothing I didn't like, it was exactly what I hoped for. For travellers that might be inclined to lie in, the hotel is quite close to the (not that busy) train line. However if you are lying in, you are doing Surselva and Switzerland wrong, you should be up early and out hiking.

- One toilet covering the two upper floors may be a limiting factor.

Big, modern rooms with a good shower. The terrace restaurant and bar was perfect after a long day on the road! Great food! Good value buffet breakfast.

More secure motorcycle parking would have been good but it was right next to the hotel (just in an open car park).

Very nice and spacious room cleaned every day. Huge kitchen with oven, 4 fridges and everything you need for cooking. Parking place included.

No cupboard at room.

It would be nice to have air conditioning or a fan in the room in summer as it’s very hot.

Reception did not open til 17:00 I’d have liked an earlier check in at 15:00. Building works/renovations very noisy but that’s temporary.

Room was big, with a shower and hand basin in the corner. Excellent. I did not have a problem with a shared toilet, as it was always available.

The plug in the basin was frozen shut as the lever was not connected.

Excellent service and breakfast, the rooms are nice, clean and tidy. The hotel even organised vegan products for breakfast, thank you so much! Would definitely stay again.

Everything was just as good as it was 7 years ago. Half board is excellent value. Dinner was perfect, and the buffet breakfast is very good, too. Good Wi-Fi. Safe storage for my bicycle. Very friendly staff. Great central location. Might well be staying a 3rd time...
