Very good location, 3 min walk form the metro station. Very good cleanliness standard. Helpful staff. Good sized bathroom. Room had a balcony and good windows, no street noise can be heard.

Room has a very limited space around the bed and no storage cabinets at all. This could be a problem during a trip longer than just a couple of days or in winter when more clothing is needed. Especially in case of two people staying in the room the room will feel small. Guests must note that the hotel does not have any restaurant, however there are plenty of them in the immediate vicinity.

1) 5 mins walk from the nearest MRT station, Zhongshan Junior High School. 2) 2nd floor lounge has free flow coffee/hot chocolate dispenser machine 24/7, and laundry room with free washing powder provided. But even at 2am, there are youngsters washing/drying their clothes. There are also small snacks I the daytime and after 11pm there's instant noodles on 1st floor lobby. 3) Certain persons at the Front Desk have great memory. I checked in and out 4 times in 1 week and they literally know when I'll be coming back when I'm checking out. Certain more senior people are less patient (more business-like) while the Trainees and Justin are friendlier and more helpful. Or maybe the senior lady is just nicer to Japanese guests as I saw her offer a lot of information to 2 Japanese men during one of my check-ins. 4) They are very strict wih their check-in timings and they do allow you to store your luggage with them if you arrive earlier. And they do allow you to just sit and rest at the 2nd floor lounge if you don't want to go out till check-in time.

1) It might look like just a few stops from Taipei Main Station but the walk from the airport express to Bannen Line, and then to change from Bannen Line to Wenhu Line at Nanjing Fuxing MRT station requires very long walks. Do not underestimate the time required. 2) Take note that from 1 Jan 2025, all hotels will not be providing disposable toiletries for free. You have to buy from the Front Desk or some supermarket around. No supermarket near the hotel. 3) The Double room is small. I have to walk over my open suitcase. The Triple room suits me better, with walking space. But it's quite silly to pay for a Triple room. 4) The temperature in the room cannot really be adjusted. When I press the temperature to my desired, it just jumps back to 23°C and never rises.

The hotel location is good, just 4 mins walk to train station and has a lot of restaurants nearby and convenient stores. Service is excellent - they clean the room and replaced wet towels daily. Hotel has coffee machine - free coffee, hot choco and tea. There is no breakfast provided but there is a pantry with tables and chair where you can eat your take out food. The staffs were also very accommodating. They also helped us book a transfer airport service.

Staff were really friendly, answered any questions I had, and always offered to help in any way possible, even without asking. Some of the nicest hotel staff I’ve met!! Room was comfortable and clean. No faults!! Hotel is also in a great location, next to convenience stores, a metro station, and only 10 minutes from TSA airport. But no noise disruption whatsoever!!

The location is great, just 5-7 min walk from MRT - Zhongshan Junior High School station. Plenty of small shops for shopping and eatery. Hotel level 2 is a co-working place, and pantry (small snacks, fruits, and instant noodles are provided at fixed intervals) and self-service laundry service (4 sets of washers, dryers, and ironing board), this is a plus point if you need to save on expensive laundry on the go. Just make sure you have set aside time to do the laundry. :). I did mine at 6 am to avoid the crowd

The rooms are a bit small, difficult to move around if you have big items of luggage, room cleaning is performed quite late in the afternoon (mine was done around 5 pm)

I like the location of the hotel, its right in the center of town, very clean and they even have a laundry room for the long stay guest like me, public transportation was right next door. Hotel staffs at reception( except one special lady) and cleaning lady on the 13F were very friendly and nice.

The hotel receptionist Maruko was rude and had a very bad attitude with poker face.

Room is pretty good Location is excellent, with 5 mins walk to MRT and eating, convenience store. The room and all facilities are very clean and comfortably, especially 2nd floor for people to gathering and eating, very impressive me. All the staffs in hotel including concierge, front desk and the room cleaner always have a smile in face, politely and patient talk with customers.

If I could give this hotel an 11 that is what I would do! The check-in experience was amazing. Maruko was quite simply the most impressive hotel clerk I have ever met. She provided us with very helpful advice for our trip, and did everything in such a cheerful and effective way that one could not help but to be impressed. She even left us with a lovely, hand-written card at the end (complete with very cute pictures which she drew). I may frame this card :) After staying previously at a hotel in Taipei which did not meet our expectations, it was such a joy to stay at the CityInn. Everything was done just in the right way. It was clean, restful and smart. They kept our luggage for us as we travelled around which made a huge difference. Obvously I would stay here again - indeed I don't think there is anywhere else I would even think about staying in Taipei.

Compact rooms but the hotel has everything one might need, including a free laundry & drying room with detergents, a lounge with coffee, tea, water dispensers and microwaves for own food if desired. The hotel and the rooms were very clean. Many cafeterias and vegetarian/vegan restaurants right in the vicinity. Close to the brown metro line that takes you directly to TSA, or other connecting metro lines.Warmly recommend!

Location is fantastic. There were 7-11, a bakery and several restaurants just outside the hotel. Metro is also just a block away. I also love the self-service laundry. It's very convenient during our stay. I found staff very friendly too. This hotel makes me feel like I'm home.

The bathroom is quite small and we don't like to shower over bathtub design. It would have been better if it's just a glass shower.
