We liked the location of the hotel. Very near to Ximending night market but at the same time, far enough from the crowded areas. The ambiance of the hotel was cozy and comfortable. There’s a 24-hour self-laundry station (washer and dryer) at the second floor. The hotel staff were accommodating and friendly. There’s always a staff at the reception even at night / early morning. You can request an iron and ironing board. There’s three nearby convenience stores (7-11 and Family Mart). Will definitely book this hotel again when we return to Taipei.

There’s no bidet. Room lighting is quite dim.

Paid the booking in advance. Charged me extra during check in eventhough i already paid in advance and was informed it will be refunded the next day. Later, upon check out, I followed up regarding the refund, another staff said that I will be refunded after 7-21days. There was no clear information.

The room was nice and the staffs were friendly.

The breakfast was boring. Everyday was the same and quite tasteless to me.

Shower was spacious. Great bathroom design. Mirror above the bed was an added bonus! Lovely daily cleaning staff

The fact that EVERYONE had to check in at 3pm. Quite rigid rules. No leeway even to be able to check in half hour earlier

The room is pretty spacious and you get ample space to move your luggage. They add / change everything thay you have used in the room and they do clean thoroughly.

No bidet but that's a preference. Also the wifi in the further hallways of the room sucks. You literally will not get any signal. It is a bit far from public transportation as well so you really have to walk quite far to get to the place.

Staff very helpful. They happily let us leave our luggage there all day as we arrived at 9 but couldn’t check in until 3. Very unusual industrial feel to it, very cool. Large communal space to relax in downstairs. Breakfast was lots of options and delicious. Lots of essentials in room (soap,toothbrushes, shampoo etc)

Lack of windows to look out of was unusual. Found it quite confusing to navigate around the building

Room is practical and great for good night sleep. It is one interesting place of classic 1950 1960s collectables such as film equipment , gas pumps, telephones....oh and a painted big whale on the wall of hotel building. Good place to stay...and most times at reasonable prices. Breakfast Chinese and delicious.

The check in using computers can be a bit challenging.

The property itself was unique in terms of decoration, very aesthetic and IG worthy. Quiet place and nice staff. In terms of price, it is reasonable and worth it in comparable to other hotels around Ximending area. The rooms were small but cozy as expected in Taipei. We can only open one medium luggage at a time. The lighting was quite dim but it's ok coz the lighting in the bathroom was bright so i can still do my make up. I got a small accident though ( i bump my head 😅) so be careful with the glass sliding door in the bathroom. A lot of restaurants around the area, there is a 711 just across the street. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, so i will recommend!

it's quite a walk from the MRT station.

They location is awesome and the price unbeatable. Also the service is very kind.

The walls are thin...a bit too thin. I could hear my 'neighbours' talk, watching TV and some midnight activities. Also the room feels a bit like a bunker.
