Value for Money, Breakfast was nice for the price, room was very spacious and the staff were very helpful. Room was much better than described by the other reviewers considering the price. Towels, and toiletries were included. baggage storage was allowed. iron and ironing board was available for free. location was okay, one bus ride/10 mins away from ximending

the room (6th floor) smelled like smoke although the other room we got didn't (5thfloor)

Liked the location since it is near the bus station and there are near food places and convenience stores. Liked the unlimited breakfast. Liked the room that we stayed in. Bed is comfortable. Room has a nice tub on it. Has a strong water current and water heater is working well. Nice balcony window. The room is clean. Staff are super nice and attentive to our needs.

Furnitures needs to be updated. Tear, scratches, cigarette burns etc. can obviously be seen all over the bed, table, sofa. Intermittent internet connection. Cable is connected with internet, so if the network is down, so is the tv.

Though I didn't use the breakfast option much, due to not being able to consume pork, I did have toast and tea. What I loved the most about the location is, it is a stone's throw away from Ximen, where you just get on the bus (bus stop is like 10 seconds walk from hotel) and public transport in Taiwan is extremely cheap, it made me feel as though I was staying in a preferred location, where I'm not staying in the most busiest place of the city but a good short distance away from it, just like how I live in London.

Really don't understand all the negative reviews. I had a good stay overall, the room was spacious, the bed was large and comfy, and the balcony view was decent. Wifi was strong and consistent on my floor (7th). It is very easy to grab an Uber or walk to nearby places as well.

2 complaints: The balcony curtain and some areas were a bit dirty and appeared to have mold. The bathtub was unusable for me. I am over 6ft, 195-200 pounds, and when I stepped inside, it began to shake and squeak. So, I was forced to shower awkwardly outside the tub next to the toilet.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall transaction was smooth. However, there was a slight miscommunication among the staff. We had already left our luggage and settled our bills in the morning, planning to check in later in the evening. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room we originally booked was no longer available. Despite this, the team handled the situation well and made a kind gesture by upgrading us to a better room, which we truly appreciated.

The complimentary breakfast was nice and offered healthy options. However, I would suggest adding a wider variety of international food choices to cater to different guests' preferences.

The staff was very kind, helped us with everything we needed and guided us correctly on our first trip to this country. The rooms were exactly what we expected from the description. Good location close to everything.. almost next to the hotel bus stop that passes very frequently and in 5 minutes you reach the beautiful Ximen area. Close to the Metro stop with direct connection to the Airport.

The breakfast could have been a little more attentive.

Breakfast was toast or 'local' fare. Tea and coffee are readily available. A fridge is provided in the guest's room. Room service is on request. Free wi-fi. A plasma T.V. with various channels, including English-speaking movies, in the room. The hotel is downtown, atmospheric in that one feels to be in a Taipei community. There is a reliable, efficient bus service around the corner to the railway station or metro. The station is a 45 minute walk over the river bridge. Helpful/knowledgeable staff who can advise on tours.

Ensure room is fully equipped. I had to call for towels (which were brought immediately). Place soap in the bathroom, not hidden somewhere in the main room. Packets/sachets of butter/jam would be preferred at breakfast rather than an open bowl that all guests use.

It is a good hotel, the employees are very friendly and they help you with whatever you need, they have facilities to drink water or a microwave that the people at the hotel can use, the breakfasts are very good and there is variety, it is in a good location, I recommend the lemon chicken that they sell next to the ok Coffee and if you want to eat something, across the street you have the best restaurant I have eaten in Taiwan and the employees are friendly.

Sanchong District is a little far from most of the places in Taipei travelers would come to see. If you have a hard time navigating winding roads, getting to the MRT from here can be a bit tricky. However, there are multiple laundromats within a block of the hotel and some pretty good restaurants!
