Location was perfect for relaxing and not in the chaos noose and partying of the main Nungwi beach area. Staff are lovely. Clean. Beautiful. Breakfast isnt bad at all. Helpful at every step. Ocean is stunning. Beautiful gardens and loungers and pool is great. Thankful for the generator during power outages.

The beds are not really comfortable. As travellers from South Africa the restaurant prices are too expensive. Aimed at European and American travellers. But the whole of Nungwi is expensive and charging in dollars. We visited during their ‘winter’ when they were busy with construction and maintenance, which is not ideal but a normal thing to have to do. The notices and timelines around the maintenance could be shared and pit up in advance for some change and expectation management.

Beautiful location and view. The rooms were a great size and and the stand out feature were the staff at the resort. Amazing people and so very helpful...Said, Mariam and Esther were the most amazing staff, who help our family with anything and everything we needed!!!

The restaurant food could have been abit better. Breakfast was most lovely but the other menu options could have been a bit better.

If you are looking for realxing holiday is the best place..5 mins driving to Nungwi main beach and 10 mins driving to kendwa beach, but still Front of the beach, but make sure you have your rock shoes because the hotel beach got some rocks... everyone was very friendly especially Esta and paulina at the resturant they did everything to make sure we are having a good time..

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The front desk - receptionist was so helpful in acommodating my wishes and found solutions for all my demands, and at the same time very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Real professional, thank you very much! Cleaning lady was also truly great, made my room to look a million dollar one, with flowers arranged every day on a freshly made bed. Thank you very much!

Perfect place for a quiet private stay in Nungwi not far from everything! We stayed one night in room called Jadeite with nice ocean-view and big balcony (second floor of the three-storey building at the back of the hotel). Very nice spacious room, big and nice bathroom with gel, shampoo, hair dryer. Clean, big nice bed, with fridge and kettle, AC, everything is working. coofee-maker mentioned in the describtion is just instant coffee, if what) We enjoyed also buffet-breakfast: tea, coffee only instant unfortunately, eggs of your choice, toasts, jams, nutella, butter, some fried veggies, chapati and meat in sauce. Territory is sweet, place is quite, unlike all the other Nungwi (which is half hour walk basically) green, view of the ocean is amazing, pool with salt-water located nicely. We didn't swim in the ocean but all the hotel located on the reefrock, so the entrance to the ocean is a bit rocky also, but enough nice place to sekm etc. Overall standart is good but it's not top-top, you need to understand it) but the quality-money is very good for Zanzibar, which is pretty overpriced to my opinion.

If you pay in cash - be ready that they will give you change only next day🙈

The staff is very nice. We arrived early in the morning, around 5AM. Normally the check in is at 1PM but the staff was very helpful and the room was ready at 8AM. The resort is nice and peaceful.

The breakfast can be improved.

The hotel staff, location and general needs (hotel room, water, cleanliness, etc.) were great. The only thing that I had read on comments before was the food menu which I found to be limiting, however this was also great for us as it pushed us to go explore other restaurants who are in Nungwi and explore more the area.

What I liked most was that the area was closed and strangers didn't interfere or disturb I also liked the staff, kind people who are always ready to help with a smile. Clean and comfortable rooms. I would be happy to come back again.

Tanzinite beach resort was amazing we loved every moment.The staff were very friendly.Our room was awesome.The location was the best.We walked on the beach in low tide and swam during high tide.The pool was also so nice to swim in.They say you should not go in may as it rains.Yes it rains but for 10 min and the sun comes out again it's so nice.The rain cools everything down.We loved it

Great resort! Such a beautiful place! The staff was next level amazing! Such sweethearts, super friendly and caring! The food was also really delicious. Would definetly recommend.
