It is THE BEST location in Nungwi. If you are looking for a place in the middle of the action, this place is not for you. But for us was just perfect, for from the noise, and the people selling things on the crowded beaches, but in 20 minutes walking you are in Nungwi village, so, easy access for everything while enjoying the quietness. The room is very silent and comfortable.

The restaurant is not good, the food, the beer is not cold, the breakfast is not good, so if you decide to stay in this hotel, you will probably need to go out for lunch and dinner. Besides that everything was just perfect.

I loved the fact that there was a private beach so we were not haggled by people trying to sell us many things. The pool was clean and warm and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff are absolutely superb! Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to meet your needs. It was my husband's birthday and they made him a cake and we had a special dinner on the beach. We absolutely loved our stay at the Zanzibari.

There was nothing that I did not like. We were so happy and we would have liked to have stayed longer.

Rooms. Uncomfortable pillows and shower water was either boiling or cold. Staff did not refill soap unless we ask and we see it was missing when we started showering. There was no conditioner, which is super necessary for women with long hair.

Best hotel in Zanzibari 😍😍 we spent our honeymoon there everything was perfect. Great rooms with super kind service, food is really tasty, nice pool with view and access directly to beach when it’s low tide. The personal are very friendly and sweet. We did book all the activities in the reception. Taxi available whenever we needed. Wifi everywhere in the hotel. A big up to John in the reception he really nailed it. I highly recommend this hotel 😍🙏🏼❤️

We stayed at the Love shack and it was lovely. The property is simply beautiful. We left the door open and the breeze was amazing. Very private. Very affordable laundry service. I had to do a late checkout and they were very accommodating.

No privacy in the bathroom, so I don’t no recommend it for new couples. Hot water is very limited so shower quick. Also no AC and if can get a little warm if you do not leave the windows open, even though there is a fan. The WIFI didn’t work at all. The food is not very good and the service is SUPER slow. It takes them over 20 minutes just to bring you coffee. Also no one at the information desk from 10pm to 7:30am. The beachfront is not suitable to swim (watch out for sea urchin).

Lovely views from our room and very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and the hotel facilities were adequate.

There was a lack of a private beach to swim in the sea. There is beachfront access however this stretch of beach is littered with touters aggressively selling boat trips, massages or zoo tickets.

They were so nice. The hotel has a beautiful garden and pool, everything looks really good. We stayed in one of the rooms on the first floor with a terrace / balcony and had air conditioning. The rooms were very comfortable. They make up the rooms every day and have put lovely flowers and towel figures on our bed for honeymoon. In the evening they also put down the mosquito net in the room and spray mosquito repellent. You get more than enough towels! The breakfast is standard zanzibari but enough and with a good service. For our honeymoon they made a candlelight dinner and a maasai show under the stars, it was so beautiful, we were overwhelmed! Really great!

We loved the accommodation, it was on the ground floor but facing the pool and the sea and very refreshing. The beds were cutely done up with towel animals decorated with flowers and it was such a cute touch! The pool, restaurant area and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff is friendly and cooperative.

Maybe a shade or two on the beach? But since the tide comes in in the evening it probably isn't a good idea. Also, methods of conveyance to other parts of Zanzibar like cabs or shuttles would help.
