We loved everything. Staff were incredibly friendly, breakfast was amazing (buffet of fruits, pastries, spreads and cereals as well as a selection of savoury breakfast items to choose from like spanish omelettes, sausages etc.) The lunch and dinner menu is also good and prices are very reasonable. We even got room service with no extra charge The room was big, clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. The water pulls back quite far during low tide but we had a very nice swim during high tide. There is a pool to cool down in when you can't go in the ocean. I highly recommend staying at Golden Palm. It is a lovely place

The hotel is really nice, and the staff are super. The room was great, with a lovely comfortable big bed. The terrace looking out over ocean was great.

It isn't exactly a didn't like, but few suggestions to make it better. The terrace is huge and could easily take a couple of sun loungers, they would be great. There are two chairs on the terrace, but no table. A small table to sit out with your morning cuppa would be good. The location of the hotel is dire. It is down a dirt track, very bumpy road. The trip takes around 10-12 minutes from the main road and is a very uncomfortable ride. Because of the road, you can't go out for a walk, so if you didn't have a car you would be trapped. We lost hot water in the shower for the last couple of days.

The facility is clean, sea facing rooms, the staff going extra mile , their food got delicious taste, Breakfast with good taste and variety of food available.Food fairly priced. I will be returning Best place to be

I understand they are still busy with construction.. The dinning area having few chairs and limited access,the outside area not having roof ..like it rained at some point and we had to move from nice chairs to the rooms...but I saw lots of potential and hard working staff meaning management is good..... The gravel road going to the facility

The place is very nice, good location (near to local shops), and the staff is friendly. It is a shame the beach is polluted, there is a lot of broken glasses on the beach which makes dangers to walk in a beautiful area. There few miscommunication with staff regarding service but nothing that would compromise your stay, we had a local taxi well arrange for transferring to the airport. I liked the flexibility to make payment (cards or cash or both). There were few adorable stray cats, so beautiful creatures, I wish they were better looked after.

The room had an amazing view. It was a large room, bed was comfortable. As a solo traveller, I felt safe in the room and accommodation. Hotel staff was very good and helpful. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing and always very nice plated. Location - it was very close to airport by taxi (about 7 -10 minutes). I did not walk around the location so cannot comment on what is available around.

The receptionist Sophie was professional and Celine was just exceptional a true definition of a great hospitality agent

The location is perfect, nice little boutique hotel just near the airport and also close enough to the nearby attractions, I recommend using the local tuktuks to move around to promote the locals. Breakfast provided is buffet and accommodates every one and its good. Staff were very friendly and helpful starting with the security all the way to the other staff.

Ordering lunch took too long, maybe they can improve on the time it takes to order and when its brought, but the food was delicious

We had a lovely stay, the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to ensure you were happy. Good location, nice restaurants and bars close by.everytging you could want at a very reasonable price.

Nothing they can change, as it is on the beach at high tide you cannot walk along the beach but it doesn't distract or take anything away from the hotel.

The hotel is on a small beach which is almost private. It very close to the airport and not too far from Stone town. The staff is friendly overall.

Their contract taxi service did not turn up to pick us up at the airport. We had booked 4 rooms and the key for the 4th room, took a long time to handover (almost 3 hours later), although we arrived in the late afternoon

Nice boutique hotel with great helpful staff. The location is very close to the airport and city center. The sea view during high tide is magnificent! Great room size. I would recommend for short stays.

Food was less than desirable. The Beach is not swimmable and the water too far out during low tide. But this is the same thing for mostly all beaches in Zanzibar City.
