Beautiful views from the balcony looking right over the bay.

Staff we encountered were very stroppy and rude. Laughably so. Very hilly. Pool was grim.

Awesome view. The staff people are very kind. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The location is great in order to there is no party noise around but is kind of far from the centre, you have to walk there

Location is on a beautiful part of the beach, away from the busy parts. Long tail taxi boat included on arrival and can be arranged for departure.

The pool was being fixed or renovated and we didn’t find out until we got there. It worked out fine because we had the beach but it would have been nice to know before hand.

Having read some of the reviews we were very uncertain about this resort however we were so surprised with what we found. We had an easy short long tail boat trip from the pier on arrival , quick check in and bags taken to the room. Our room was a short walk from the reception. But we were amazed at our room, the view from the balcony over looking the bay took our breath away. The hotel is right on the beach with a bar and good selection of beanbags and sun beds. 10min walk to the main bars, restaurants and shops and we never heard any noise from the nightclubs/bars the only noise was the motors of long tail boats and our adopted stray cat. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.

The resort has a lot of bungalows which are spread out over the hill depending on which you book you might have a lot of stairs to climb and some bungalows are older than we stayed in so might not be as plush inside. The pool is a little dated but you have the sea. Remember this is Thailand and not the Ritz so you will find little things that you may not like, but u are on holiday so don’t stress. It was a little expensive compared to other places we visited and I would go out for breakfast as there are a lot of great little restaurants

Lack of luxury

We actually stayed 4 nights - checked in a day early, on 12/12. It was our second stay at Phi Phi Bayview, so we were familiar with the accommodations. We were pleased to have the same fabulous views of the water, comfortable beds, spacious room and deck to relax on while enjoying the quiet and the views. We'd also like to add that the staff is amazing. On our last day my husband left his wallet in the safe. One of the staff found it and rushed it out via long boat to the ferry just minutes before we were taking off. We are so grateful. Thank you. We hope to come back again!

The only thing that we found odd was the staff was storing supplies under our deck, so in the middle of the day when we were relaxing, they were sorting through bags of towels and other supplies to take to rooms. This was just under our room. I would suggest putting in a storage unit somewhere on the hill to accommodate staff and their work. If you have difficulties walking, have small children or are elderly, this may not be the hotel for you. The bungalows are located a slight hike up a hill. We got a lot of gooood exercise while we were here. For us, it was no problem. The bonus of being on the hill are the views!!

I thought the staff was exceptional, especially the young man that helped me with my luggage to the ferry, waited for me and got me to straight to my boat. He was fantastic service. All the staff was so friendly, breakfast was very good and my room was delightful overlooking the beautiful bay and the wonderful colours with flowers and trees surrounding the area, the pool was OK but needed a little bit of TLC Still nice. I highly recommend this resort as it’s away from the Russle and hustle, bustle, and a little more quieter at the bar end, but yet still close to everything.

I have to admit being an older lady. I’m not a fan of the beanbag chair chairs on the beach, they could use some more lounge chairs on the beach as well as it wouldn’t hurt to install some sun umbrellas that was the only thing

The staff was exceptional—very kind and helpful. It was quite amusing when they used us to promote their extra-special dinner, which you can order for a very cheap price, complete with a beautiful beachfront setting. The houses were close to two stunning beaches, and the pool area was fantastic because not many people were using it. The location was perfect—situated in a very calm and beautiful area in the “jungle,” with just the right distance from the city center. Additionally, the breakfast offered plenty of different options each day.

The only thing I wished for was the pool bar to be operational. It has great potential if it were functioning.

STUNNING view of the beach from the balcony. Waking up to this view is definitely the highlight of my stay. Walking towards the beach you find so many cute cats around which makes it an even more pleasant stay. The restaurant is also a good option and their food is delicious. It is excellent value for money and a big plus if you prefer to sleep in a more quiet part of the island.

Feels like staying in what was a very good resort 20 years ago, but now needs renovation, at least in the room we stayed. Also, be prepared to walk to your room and also to the busy areas in the island.

Staff were attentive and friendly. The room had plenty of space and was well decorated, bathroom was lovely and the balcony view was beautiful. The pool was clean and quite. There was a steep hill to our room but the staff were so helpful to help us with our bags as well as organising the boat transfer from the pier to the hotel. Check in and out was quick and easy. The coconut waters by the sea is a must!! Lovely bean bags and chairs laid out on the beach - adds a nice personal touch as this accommodation is at the end of the beach so no one is really there. It’s not a long walk to the centre and night markets. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we will be back!!
