Great location right on a beautiful beach away from the party side of the island. You’re on long beach which is mostly families and couples, so very chilled, early dinner at one of three (we believe) restaurants on the beach. Room was lovely and spacious and good value for money but we were upgraded so can only speak to the room we had.will need to get a taxi boat or walk about 35 mins if you want to get to the town.

Property was great, no complaints. Just a note on the area, you will need to get a taxi boat over to Long Beach from the main pier which costs about 100b but the hotel DOES offer a free taxi boat back for when you leave the island so that was appreciated. Also feel the need to say this, Phi Phi as an island is really struggling with all the tourism and constant over building. Speaking with the locals they are having a lot of issues with water (lots of places run out constantly) and I personally would advise anyone not to come here simply because it feels like this island desperately needs a break from it all and because of that, we won’t return (but if you do, come to long beach or one of the others away from the main town.

Those of you giving bad reviews to the place should know that you get what you pay for. Don’t expect to receive a 4 stars seaview villa for the price of a hostel, doesn’t work like this. The conditions are ok for bungalows at this price range on the island. There is air conditioning, space is ok, room cleaning daily (changing towels and summary cleaning), small terrace, hot water all the time). Nice they provide beach towels, free beach chairs and kayac. The location is simply amazing, few steps from Long Beach, a quiet and beautiful place. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, we spend 6 nights here and its just about what we expected, not more or less.

There is no fridge in the room, which would be extremely useful.

Lovely spot for snorkelers as can swim to shark point. Clean bungalow and lovely staff although they speak minimal English. We did not have breakfast included. The buffer is 200 baht. For a cheaper breakfast if you are not a big eater or are vegetarian walk down to the blue and white cabinas. They will sell you a nice breakfast for 100 baht.

Beds are rock hard.

Located on Long Beach, they are under Phi Phi Long beach Resort & Villas. Had Yao give you the saving cost offering more than the basics. Very clean bungalow, they even changed the bed sheet daily, staff at reception super nice, i wouldnt expect, super nice and welcoming, i asked to show me other villas they have and they did and explain the benefits. I choose 2 nights at Had Yao to extend my 4 nights trip. Staff even offered to upgrade and the upgrade was not expensive. Rooms have no fridge however you can upgrade for not a big amount. Had Yao is the cost effective and for what you pay for its really good especially if i will plan to stay 10-14 days in phi phi. You need more, pay more like i did 4 nights before. I have seen many negative reviews on them however i dont think they deserve it. As i said you want more luxury and view pay more or stay home. They do offer and have villas, cabanas and bungalows for any pocket. Staff at housekeeping very nice and helpful. And BTW their breakfast, i paid 200 thb extra, is even better than Vikings Resorts which is more expensive and very low in customer service. Had Yao and Phi Phi long beach resorts & villa have an amazing breakfast, for as low as 200 thb per person.

Location to long beach is perfect. Remote so bring everything you need. Lizards about were cool. Beach was much quietier than other side of island. Small pool but nice to have. Little bungalow with porch was very cute. Aircon was good. Shower was good. Just bring moscito spray.

We were hungover and forgot we could get a taxi boat. Google maps brought us on an hour hike up throught the mountains to get there from tonsai pear. Tough walk with bags. No fault of property but just a friendly reminder to get the longtail boat from tonsai 😂 also the bed is rock solid. But we only did one night so it was grand. Any longer the bug bites and bed could be a pain 👍

The location (Long Beach) is unbelievable, actual paradise, beautiful beach, away from the crowds (10 mins longboat to Tonsai Pier or 45 mins walk). Very good breakfast, good price for the location, good air conditioner, silence and peaceful surroundings, they five 2 free bottles of water daily. Beach towels and snorkeling masks available with no additional costs. Free boat on checkout.

There were two dead cockroaches when we first opened the door, reasonable facilities with need to update, weak shower.

The location is spot on, Long Beach is most definitely the best area in the entire island! Quiet, stunning, far away from the crowds and parties, yet within a pleasant jungle path-walking distance of 30 mins from the Tonsai village/port, that can be easily taken even at night. The Bugalows are simple, yet well maintained. The neighbourhood is truly amazing, taxi boats to port are cheap, fast and convenient - I'd definitely recommend you staying at Had Yao Bungalows!

A little smell from a bathroom drain, but you know what - it's a bungalow, not a Hilton hotel, so I guess it's okay!

Its been my third time at Phiphi and i got the best experience in this resort. Indeed its the perfect place to spend quality time with the dearest one. Don't know where to start. From the seating area of dinning hall to open air swimming pool...all were just perfectly cool. Specially their pickup and dropoff service to the central is quite notable. Tranquility is the best part of this spot along with extraordinary oceans view from the lon. Appreciate their safety and cleanliness issues. They offer buffet breakfast which was completely value for money. Additonally, they offer firewords and magic shows in the neighbors..... However their cottage's washroom's interior was amazing due to its air transparent system where you can enjoy the most sensational time with your partner. Definitely I would love to stay there in the coming days...!!!

They should offer more shuttle service to Phiphi central. There should be at least one Shuttle service in every 3 hours. And tour package price should be more reliable.

The whole area around Long Beach seems to be changing quite rapidly so our experience might not be valid for very long The room is quite basic, very much a beach hut. The sheets were clean and the room was serviced each day and our AC worked very well. Check in is shared with the resort next door. To access Long Beach and the accomodation, you will need to factor in some water taxis, at the very least for your transfer off the ferry. It is possible to walk through a Forrest trail to the main bit of the island, but it is hilly and sections are unlit at night. It takes about 35 minutes.

The bathroom is a bit run down but absolutely serviceable. We personally underestimated how hard the walk would be in the heat. We still did it several times but if you were less mobile you would struggle in the warmest seasons so do factor in the water Taxis.

The location is great, just by the beach. The room was simple and didn't have a fridge but for phi phi the value for money was great. Breakfast spread was very nice and the complementary boat upon checkout was a welcomed bonus.
