We did extensive research on which hotel to choose on Long Beach, and this was by far the best option! We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay to 7 nights because we absolutely loved it here. The resort provided a free boat upon arriving and departing, also the resort has everything you need: clean, spacious rooms that are cleaned everyday, comfortable sunbeds, a clean beachfront, one pool with a view of the sea, another pool in the territory, a shower in the beach area, excellent breakfast, super friendly and professional staff, a beachfront restaurant and also a trolley around the territory so it was possible to go from the room to lobby by car. The restaurant was very good and our stomachs felt great (we drank iced drinks and tried different foods). The location is perfect—easy to reach the city center by longboat (10 minutes) or on foot (about 30-40 minutes). However, be careful when returning to the hotel late at night, as there may be some scammer taxi boats (which are not connected to the hotel). The resort also has its own shop if you need items like SPF cream, water, snacks, ice cream, or anything else. During our 7-day stay, we explored other hotels along Long Beach, and we’re convinced this is the best choice. Phi Phi The Beach Resort offers sunbeds, a beachfront restaurant, a large and green property, a shop, a beach where you can easily swim, and a great snorkeling spot—things the other hotels didn’t offer. One day, we booked a private longboat tour to Maya Bay (Phi Phi Le Island, the island where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach) which was a super fun experience! We booked the tour at the bar, located on the hotel’s property. I also had a small injury on my leg, and the hotel staff were incredibly professional, cleaning the wound very thoroughly. Thank you!

This beach resort offers a perfect tropical escape with single-room huts that have stunning views of the sea, palm trees, and beach. The huts are simple yet comfortable, designed to blend with the natural surroundings. The views are phenomenal. You can wake up to the sound of waves and enjoy the beauty of the ocean right from your veranda. The atmosphere is peaceful and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The resort is built on a hillside so there is a lot of stairs which we enjoyed daily although some might not so they offer free shuttle service to your room whenever needed. We really liked the breakfasts (fabulous mix of Thai and international) and the resort restaurant is very well priced and serves delicious food. The staff are genuinely friendly. The snorkelling at this resort is worth mentioning. Do Not Miss! Town is very accessible and has lots of fun food options and markets.

The resort offers convenient longtail taxi boat rides to town for 100 - 150 baht per person (depending on the time of day) but don't mention that there is a beautiful paved walking path just about all the way into town along the beach with a sea view! We only discovered it on our last day and would have loved to use it more. There are a few view hikes in the area but beware of aggressive monkeys. Monkeys are a problem because tourists feed them. Garbage management is an issue across the entire island.

Located right the at eastern end of Long Beach, makes for a quiet well spot away from the hustle of Tonsai, which a decent beach and a good view of Phi Phi. Rooms were quiet, housekeeping always provided a fresh set of linen outside the room even though we placed the 'Do not disturb' sign. Staff were always helpful, buffet breakfast always had new options for the 3 breakfasts we had.

Location makes food options limited. Do note the complimentary boat ride to/from Tonsai is only for when checking-in and out. Other times is 100/150THB per pax per trip depending on time of day. Walking to Tonsai is possible, but good shoes recommended to climb a short steep section through a well beaten path from Long Beach to Viking Beach. Can be a challenge in the rain. Water pressure of the shower was a bit lower, barely useable for showers. Water pressure from all other faucets in the toilet were ok though.

The resort is great with a pleasant feeling. The food was good and prices reasonable and breakfast was also good. The bungalows are great and very clean and with fantastic views. If you live high up on the hill, you get a free ride on an open car, every time you want to. Shark Point is just fem minutes swim from the beach. I saw five black tips all in al, clown fish a several morays. Take care of the current and look out for Longtail boats, when you swim over to the cliffs and Shark Point. But it is still worth it.

Clean room, nice staff, delicious food

We had an unpleasant experience: After checking in, we went to Phi Phi central commercial area Tongtsai, and the only way back to the hotel after dinner was by taking a taxiboat with a fixed docking point, at a beach near the hotel. When we arrived at the beach dock and called the hotel, we were informed that they do not provide a pickup service from the beach to the hotel. As a result, we had to walk for 20 minutes along a completely dark mountain road with only a flashlight. It is unreasonable that the hotel does not provide shuttle service to the beach at any time other than checking in, considering both convenience and safety, given the restricted transportation options in this location. Hope this can be improved.

Awesome location, cant beat it. Right on the side of the Phi Phi Island overlooking the amazing scenery. Transportation from your cabin to the beachfront is provided by the resort by calling reception up until 23:00. Room service and beachside dining was exceptional and reasonably priced, overall a great stay!

Trying to walk to your cabin after 23:00 when the transport is no longer running is a nightmare, signage is no good and it can take over 30mins of hard uphill walking.

The room was very pleasant, it offerred everything a person needs for a vacation, cooled by the air conditioner and a terrace in front of the room. Both beach towels and bathroom towels were changed every day. We also really liked the breakfast, because they really offer a lot of choice - sweet food, salty food, fruit, vegetables, eggs prepared in many ways and even Thai noodles Thai rice and sweets. In front of the accommodation there is a pleasant clean beach with an emerald sea.

There are two rooms in each house. The problem was that the room next to ours was only separated by a door, which was not soundproof in any way, even though it was locked on both sides. Since we had a very loud family as neighbors, who were loud late at night and also very early in the morning, we could not sleep well.

A little piece of paradise away from the chaos of the main town of Phi Phi. Loved that it was only accessible by boat-it made coming in and seeing the villas on the hill that little bit more special. You could stay here without need to go anywhere else as there’s a shop and a restaurant, yet there are several other hotels along this stretch of beach where you can eat. The beach is beautiful and there are two pool options. The view from our room was amazing! We loved this place so much we stayed an extra night. We will be telling all our friends traveling to Thailand to add this place to their list!

The bed could have been softer, but it was fine.

One set of friends took the full sea view and the remaining took partial. The view from the former was good and the latter wasn't bad. Spacious rooms and has good amenities like kettle, free water bottles, etc. Free boat service from the pier to the resort during the day and back (that helped a great deal with our luggage). Multiple pick up trucks are available inside the resort for going to and from as most rooms are uphill. Breakfast was amazing! The washroom size for partial bed is massive and the shower area is insanely large!

The front desk could be more enthusiastic when we arrived for check-in. The full sea view room air conditioning took a lot of time for the room to cool. This resort name is Phi Phi Beach Resort and the resort next to this property is called Phi Phi Long Island Beach Resort (just an fyki and as per my friend got dropped to the latter and had to walk in the night). Pool size is not that great.

Perfect for those who like snorkelling as you can hire the gear and swim to Shark Point straight off the beach. We went snorkelling most days and saw several black tip reef sharks. The location is also away from the crowds, noise and party scenes of the town area, but still easily accessible by taxi boat. The sun loungers by the beach that are free for guests and there are two pools; one near the restaurant and the other in front of the Dive Shop.

The breakfast buffet was good but started to get a bit boring after a week. The food generally across all the restaurants in Phi Phi start to be a bit "same same" after a while. Walking up to our room at the top of the hill was inconvenient, but a car service can drive you up when ever you don't feel up to it. Bring some mosquito repellant!
