- Very clean, no mould in the bathroom - Good price-performance ratio - Free cold mineral water - Small rooms but everything was clean and functional for a few nights stay - Common area to sit down, chat and have coffee or tea (free) - Cleaning service everyday - Laundry service for 70 baht/kg

- Breakfast was free but the taste was horrible. Being in Thailand, a foodie heaven, one would expect better food. We tried it only once then decided to eat breakfast somewhere else - The bathroom (although very clean) was very tiny and there was no space to put or hang things - Not a double bed, just two single matresses joined together so there is a gap between them - Only one towel per person - No AC in the common area - Hotel is in a residential area, so very quiet. But also quite far from everything. Not near metro station, have to walk 15-20 min in tropical heat and humidity to Khaosan road or 10 min. to nearby boat pier. But it was no problem for us, we just took Grab everywhere

This was an absolute gem of a place we stayed at. We booked a family room for myself, husband and our 2 kids (15 & 18) - room was super modern and spacious. Such good value for money, had a fridge, hairdryer and shower gel and shampoo in the room if needed. Staff were lovely, breakfast was great, omelettes, pork, spring rolls, fresh fruit, toast and jam, yoghurts and tea, coffee and juices available too. There’s also a fridge by reception where you can just help yourself to however much bottled water you like whilst you’re staying there. 15 minute walk to Khao San Road area, we loved our stay here.

Every square feet of the property if full of thoughtful care of the guests. Everything works. Air conditioner is efficient and fairly new. Breakfast variety is exactly what my family needed. Staff is super-friendly and responds promptly. The lobby + 24*7 tea are great for late night chill-out while the kids are sleeping (yes, the room is small for a family of four, but what would you expect at this rate?)

Location requires careful planning of your sightseeing routes. Public boats are great solution but last boats just didn’t arrive which required spending more on taxi.

26/01/2024 - 29/01/2024 - Location: lovely location in the old town of Bangkok. You can take a cab for +\- 100 baht to the famous temples (15/20 min) Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Grand Palace,… you can also choose to walk than it would take you up to 40 min, 1 hour. - Wifi: good wifi! No problems downloading/uploading/watching videos. - Staff: very friendly and helpful staff, they really make you feel like you are royalty! Thumbs up for everyone! - Rooms: nice, clean room with double bed, private shower and toilet. There was a small desk so you can work or eat. A closet so you can hang some clothes. Hairdryer was also in the room. - Breakfast: toast, fresh juices, eggs/spring rolls/bacon/…, coffee, fresh fruits, it was basic but good enough! - Laundry: you can easily do your laundry for +\- 100 baht/5kg. There is also a dryer available. Big plus you geT FREE (cold) WATER! Overall we had a lovely stay in Bangkok Saran Poshtel and would recommend it to everyone!

Staff really helpful, good breakfast, beds were confortable, shared bathroom was good and clean.

Just the location is a bit hidden, but it was a close walk to Kaosan Road and main atractions of Bangkok.

The staff is super friendly, not saying this just because it is the Standard to say they actually care, this was the point that made more difference in our stay :). They offer free water, providing a lot of information regarding what to do, how to use transportation in Banguecoque and tours, also in the day we left they proactively suggested and prepared for us food to leave to the airport, super nice :). The room is nice, the AC works fine, the room is clean and has an elevator. The accommodation is simple but completely functional, good value for money. Also the location is good near the center.

My husband and I (I’m writing on his behalf) booked this place for our first night in Bangkok. We enjoyed our stay so much that we continued booking the following several nights to extend our stay and sight see a bit more. It was in a quiet neighborhood but close enough to amenities, night markets and kho san road. The staff are kind and helpful and very organized. They had a map of the area ready for us at check in and gave some tips on local cuisine and how to get around using river taxi’s. The Poshtel offered free drinkable water and served up a simple but delicious breakfast in the morning. It consisted of eggs and your choice of ham and sausage or mushrooms and squash. There was coffee, a selection of juices and tea, toast and yogurt. Rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here. I know we will.

The property was super clean and based on a quiet street. Staff were super friendly and breakfast had a great selection of foods including fresh fruit daily. There is also unlimited bottled water available for free from the lobby fridge. We used inexpensive laundry service as well. Comfy beds, great location, great stay.

Very clean and comfy rooms. Spotless shared showers thst actually smelled good (a first in any hostel I've stayed at and a really nice touch). Breakfast was included and was delightful. The pork skewers are delish! There is also egg for the less adventurous! 😉 Brilliant and cheap laundry facilities, my clothes were ready to wear again in less than 2 hrs! The map provided by the staff was so thoughtful and their smiles always put me in a great mood. Thank you to the entire team! 🌸❤️

Just a minor thing: there was no MRT station nearby. Not a problem for me as the orange flag express boat is a 10 min walk away, and I prefer motorbike taxis anyway. Airport logistics were a little confusing, however. In the end I took a taxi to Bang Sue and then the red line to Don M. I'd heard from others that buses didn't always turn up and the airport limo bus guy told me they only start running at 11.30 am (what!! 😂😂). Would stay here again tho, it really was lovely! The smell of weed outside the hostel was epic. And it really was only outside, I always felt safe here as a solo female.

I really liked how peaceful and clean the place was—it had a calm, tucked-away vibe that’s hard to find in Bangkok. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location made it easy to walk to the old town attractions without feeling like I was stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. Also, the breakfast was a nice touch, simple but tasty.

The only thing I didn’t love was the bed, it wasn’t very comfortable and a bit too firm for my liking. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper.
