This place had exactly what is needed for a budget/backpacker. Clean room , good hot shower, good wifi, good location which is close to the khaosan and pier but far away from the noise and very quiet. Ah, and the extra was that the room also had a nice balcony with chairs and table . Staff did their job so no complaints there .

Like in many places in Thailand the beds were hard but it didn't bother me.

perfect location, very good facilities for the price (we paid 5€/person per night for a private room with public bathroom). stuff is extremely nice. it is convenient that you can enter and leave the building at any time of day and night. the hostel is located in a very peaceful and quiet area but is near to active night live and various street food and activities.

there were cockroaches in the corridor near the toilet, but none in the rooms though. i guess it is fine for Thailand climate and the fact that the hostel has an open terrace (really nice btw!), so won’t complain.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Simplistic, 80/90s style building which has well kept and clean facilities. Amazing view to the river from 4th floor and fresh air for Bangkok standards. Very quiet neighbourhood, but close to Khao San road. For the price, one of the best hostels/hotels I've stayed. I'm not 5 star hotel traveler, but this place had everything I could ask for - amazing view / location, very clean room and friendly staff. Bed is quite hard, and you only get a simple blanket without duvet cover. However, that is normal when staying in a hostels/hotels in this price range in Thailand.

I was lucky to get a spacious room with large windows facing northwest. My double room was bright, clean with a comfortable bed and a small table and one chair. The hotel was in a quiet location and even the guests were hardly audible. There is a nice seating area in the lobby and in front of the hotel.

The hotel is a little off the main tourist area, making it at the same time not suffer from street noise. Shared "bathroom-toilets" were special. I can't imagine being a woman and having to look into a man's urinal shell while using the toilet. There is no hot water running in the small space where the toilet bowl, urinal and shower are. Fortunately the water wasn't that cold and showering was not a struggle.

The space of the room and the facilities are incredible for privacy and comfort. I was looking a quiet neighborhood and this accommodation it was perfect. It's minimalist the furniture, but with the essentials. I appreciate the fact that the receptionist waited for me for my late check-in.

A bit of better English from part of the staff. But I don't speak Thai. So, fair enough. They include the toilet paper, but not soap and shampoo.

The hotel is in a calm, authentic neighborhood near Samsen Soi 3, ideal for a relaxing stay away from the bustle of Khao San Road, which is just a 10-15 minute walk away. A guest shared, "Such a relief to get away from Khao Sarn road....you cannot sleep there - here you can, thanks god! I slept with my window wide open, and no sounds of cars or motorbikes or parties all night- nothing." ....

The hotel staff communicated really well before and during my stay.

It would have been helful to have an elevator/escalator snd someone to help csrry up luggage. The bathroom sink was leaking but it didn’t affect us much as we only stayed 1 night. I am sure management can add this location onto google maps, we had trouble getting a bolt ride to the airport as drivers kept getting lost due to the route on google maps leading to a closed off road, or at least put up some signage on the road.

The property was extremely clean, the location was ideal - very quiet for sleep yet still easy to get transport with a few minutes walk from hop on & off boat + 15 minutes walk from Khoa San Road. The roof top terrace & rooms have amazing views of the river. We stayed in the rooms with shared bathroom. We felt very safe here & staff were always there throughout the day. The coffee downstairs is the best price we have seen & it’s lovely. Thank you Mai for our stay.

Great location, friendly staff even though they can't speak English ;-). Nice room, but very hot (no air con). It was okayish, nothing too fancy

There was NO internet AT ALL. This hotel does not have wifi, even though they advertise they have. Hard to communicate with staff due to language barrier. Get a google translator :-)

I like the woman at the check in desk was very nice . The communication with then was graet. I needed help to do late chexk in and they give very quick answer where they will leave the key for my room and all the information that i need.

The room is very very minimalist and it ok.. but.. maybe it can be more nice to have littel bit of design inside.. lamp or pic on the wall just for nicer vibes;) but it really ok also like this.
