The area, whilst not near any metro/sky train stops, was a lot more laid back than other areas of Bangkok that we visited with some really good restaurants and a bakery nearby. It is located 10 minutes walk from a ferry port making it easy to get to Wat Arun and Wat Pho. Buses from DMK Airport and to the main train stations can be caught nearby, though Bangkok buses aren't the most reliable. Also within walking distance from Khao San Road. The room is cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Fridge with drinking water, powerful AC, friendly and helpful staff. There is no laundry service but there are a couple of options on the same street. Whole heartedly recommend.

The location was very close to several cultural sites (e.g., Palace, Temples, River Tours) and very walkable. There are many good restaurants in the area and some shopping. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. Wonderful shaded patio for relaxing amongst all the orchids.

There weren't any accessible electrical outlets near the bed though there we a few elsewhere in the room. I didn't realize the room doesn't have a window but, when I checked the reservation, it CLEARLY states "no window" - my mistake.

Very good! Please note that this review is about a 3 nights staying in the King Suite with Balcony. The room was perfectly furnished with nice decorations. Clean, quiet and spacious. The staff was very helpful, even with a trip booking. The reception is there 24 hours. The room is cleaned everyday. The staying was pleasant. They provide a kettle for coffee and tea in your room. You are in walking distance from the pier and a nice restaurants with the view of the Rama VIII bridge.

The Orchid House is a short walk to restaurants and bars. However, set in a quiet street, it seems a world away. The staff here are exceptional; so friendly, and so helpful. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and the bed comfortable. Highly recommend! Not all of the rooms have windows, but don’t be put off by this, as the rooms still feel airy.

Location, facilites, helpful staff were so nice to me at check in, Id booked a room early in the morning as a last min. option being caught short after a messed up flight into BKK and schedule broken. So I took a room as it said early check in - on arrival it wasnt free till gone 12, so they found another room that I could go straight into - take a shower and a nap after a long travel ! really appreciated that !

windowless room is never a go to option, but as I needed a sleep it kind of worked out! so although not ideal, I actually found it great for 2 nights!

The building and design is exactly like on pic and gives a good vibe. We had everyday supplied coffee, water, shampoo, etc. I worried how it would be without the window, but it was fine. Beds were comfortable. Locked box was big enough to put my laptop. Price is good.

Its located in old area. Maybe some people could like it. For me this walks on the roads with cars and lots of electricity near your head is stressful. When you go outside the hotel everything around looks not that much attractive.

I really liked this property, it was well marked when we were arriving there late in the night, decor was old fashioned but still had all the modern amenities. Staff were absolutely amazing, they kept our bags for us and because we had so much luggage, we would usually have to arrange two taxis but reception offered to get a big taxi for the same rate that could take us to the airport.

The bed was comfortable and it was relatively peaceful. There were tables with umbrellas outside to get out of the sun and rain. The staff were extremely nice and helpful!

The doors are thin and I believe that even the neighboring temple heard us having sex! OMG! The AC shuts off from time to time and so does the water heater. The television needs to be updated and raised up higher.

Homely feel, comfortable rooms. Great location. Could walk easily to amenities or use grab to get farther afield to explore the city.

Toilet and shower combined was a little awkward. Visa didn’t seem to work when paying at the property. My companion used Mastercard for their room but I had to find cash.

Very good location, comfortable big bed, good bedroom size, hot shower, good air conditioning, quiet room and quiet road whilst 10 minutes walk to Khaosan road and 30 minutes walk to Grand palace and many other temples, friendly staff, laundry service right next door.
